I love their new location on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. It's still charming but feels nicer! I brought my family to try it and they were fans. My Mexican breakfast (divorced eggs) was so tasty, the salsa was fresh and was so so good with the eggs and refried beans on tostadas. My family enjoyed their more traditional breakfasts too! You order at a counter and the bring it to you; drinks are self serve. The staff were friendly but kept to themselves. My favorite element of this place is how you get to choose a mug for your coffee from their display. It's just a fun little thing. This visit I decided to be the best dad by par.

Came here on a Saturday morning around 10am. We had no problem finding a seat. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The food came quickly and the staff were very friendly!! It was a clean place and there was plenty of room. We ordered the egg and chorizo tacos and they came with hash browns and sausage links. We also ordered the slinger and that came with a side of toast. We ordered extra toast and all together we had two whole pieces of bread cut in half. I wonder if we didn't get the extra side of toast? But it was all so good!! We love how it was easy to get a seat on a Saturday morning and will definitely be back!

We've been wanting to try this spot since it opened. We walked in at 9am on Sunday morning. No wait. We were greeted when we walked in by a friendly woman behind the counter. She told us the we would order with her before sitting and food would be brought out to us. We ordered 2 French toast plates, Slinger plate, an orange juice and coffee (I got a to go coffee but they also offer mugs to pick and sip with). Our total was over $50 then asked for a tip at checkout. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly, however, I do not feel that the price point matches the portion/quality.

I recently visited Scrambled Eggs breakfast and brunch cafe in Saint Peters for breakfast, and it was a great experience! The service was fast and friendly. I had the Grandma's Slam: perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, and sourdough bread--all spot on and satisfying. The self-serve coffee bar was a highlight, with a wall of fun mugs to choose from and unlimited refills. Cozy spot with good vibes--definitely recommend!

Chorizo & eggs. Comes with potatoes, beans and tortillas. Tasty and a large portion!

I love that this place offers both American and Mexican breakfasts. Flavors are solid and prices are good. Self serve drinks and bottomless coffee. Family owned and operated!

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants. The Greek omelet was amazing, also the croissant sandwich was as well. The burrito was good, I added sauce they had available at the table for more taste. I like the donuts because they aren't overly sweet. One of my favorite blueberry cakes I've had in the city! (I'm always looking for good blueberry cake donuts)

They have the best breakfast hash in St. Peter's. Their clean diner is one reason to go there, but another is their great customer service. In fact, I brought the food home to my family in minutes.

My mother and I stopped at Scrambled Eggs on a weekday morning for a quick breakfast sandwich on our way out to St. Charles. She ordered egg & cheese on wheat toast. I ordered egg, feta, and gyro meat on a bagel. When I was ordering I did ask what kind of bagels they are and the lady told me Thomas. I knew what I was ordering. My sandwich was a very greasy mess though. I also knew without asking the gyro would be pre-made strips instead of sliced off a spit. What I didn't know is that they cook everything on a flat top and use a ton of grease. They gyro strips tend to be a bit greasy anyway but when you cook them in grease they are quite slick. Also my bagel looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. My mother enjoyed her sandwich and tea. I probably ordered wrong but also...greasy.

Great breakfast options. I really like the Alfa Salad. Reasonably priced. The coffee mug wall where you pick your cup is very original.

Did this place used to be Mario's? If so, has anything other than the name changed?

Yes...same employee that ran it for Mario's opened it themselves after Mario's closed. Nothing fancy but tasty and reasonable. They just expanded this past week.

From the decor and amazing hospitality to the delicious, tender oxtails, we were beyond pleased with our experience. We went later in the evening, so they were out of a few items, but the owner took the time to walk my husband through some other great options. He ended up ordering the braised pork with rice and beans and was extremely pleased with his choice. The oxtails were tender, plentiful, and full of flavor. The black beans were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. We will definitely be back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

Havana 1961 is a restaurant with a total home cooked meal vibe. Nicely decorated with Cuban fanfare as well as music to compliment the experience. Our server was quick to get drink orders while we reviewed the menu. We tried the Tostones a delicious fried plantain and was excellent. For our entrees we went with the cubano sandwich and ropa vieja a delicious pork dish served with black beans and white rice. Both dishes were served hot and perfectly seasoned. I will caution portions are large and easily able to serve two people. Service was awesome and very patient in answering questions about the menu. Prices were reasonable and so much more great food to try for our next visit. Highly recommend Havana 1961, give them a try.
