I am sure some folks have had a good experience however I am not one of them. I really wanted to…read moreget another Silverado as I loved my old one. So I stopped in and was immediately lept upon by a younger fellow eager to get my business. I am not against a go getter but I against facilitating the old stereotypical pushy salesperson who changes things as they please by the moment. There is never one left etc and as a Sales manger I would be appalled if any of my employees approached sales like this. I hope that they can iron out what seems to be some wrinkles lately on the service and sales side mind you I can't comment on the auto service part. in the end I left not to return and that is not to say I could not give another chance but I would sooner head to my Edmonton dealer whom I purchased from previously or to the place I eventually bought from after having a good experience. Good inventory but do your diligence and shop around a bit as most of the dealers are linked in some capacity and can find what you truly want. I do wish them luck in ironing out the wrinkles!

They straight up lied about repairs they said they did to remedy this, they didn't do the repair at all but charged me a deductible on warranty. The truck still had issues just the same and to include broken leaf springs and shocks. they installed the motor in worn mounts, she stinks like coolant, they replaced the grill shutters (or so they say they did), they replaced the steering column-the wheel now sits crooked. I have had this truck in their shop numerous times and the problems persist. I have been told to avoid driving it too much and to not drive it when it's hot. I took it to two other shops to diagnose but Wheaton ignored what was found and actually argued with me. I came to find out that their used sales guy has been charged with stealing millions in mutual funds. They do not criminal record checks on their staff. This guy even asked me to send him a picture of my credit card! The icing on the cake is that I got it back from the shop the last time with the back bumper punched up from underneath that now blocks my tailgate from opening. First wash of the truck revealed scratches from the front to back bumper yet no reports of accidents? Do not buy from this dealership. The lady in the service department is also abrasive and rude and dismissI've. Horrible all around. Biggest regret I have is ever walking in those doors. They got a low mileage Ram on trade in, that they grossly underpaid for. So they come out on top and I am stuck with a truck with piles of issues.

The smile and service ends the moment you leave the lot in your newly purchased used car or truck. 2 years ago (Jan. 2014) I bought a 2009 F-150 extended Cab 4x4 5.4L low 86,K's. Thru First Access Financial of Edmonton @ 33.9% Intrest. I put $5,k down on $22,k price leaving $17,k for financing on bad credit. The truck had Hidden Hail Dammage snow covered. Was told at time of purchase that I could refinance after a year. Also told that the GPS KILL SWITCH would be removed, both were untrue. A year ago, after a year of having the truck I made several attempts to speak to John about Re-Financing the High Intrest loan with another of his lenders. I never heard from him, his wife ran interference always demanding to know who was calling and why, etc. just got the runaround. I was willing to even trade in if necessary, I gave up after weeks of no response went to Lacombe Ford and Go Auto tired to get trade in but didn't get good enough offer on Intrest or price of another truck, so just kept going with same truck and lender. This week after having truck for Two years in good standing, I tried again to reach John for Re-financing? and again his wife ran interference, EXTREMELY Nosey! wouldn't let me talk to him, he's busy or on the phone. Denied id ever being told I could refinance with him. They only do trade ins. after waiting all day, I figured well ok if I have to trade in, I called back to try to talk to him for a trade in. Once again his wife was rude and nasty on the phone, said id been rude a year ago, told her I was not! I'd been professional and just got run around form her, while trying to talk to John, she started screaming and yelling at me, told me I wasn't welcome there or my business and stop calling. She told me to go to Ford or go Auto. Wow! OMG, holly Smokes, very unprofessional and immature. I was prepared to buy a $20,k to $30,k new truck! Two years ago my two grown sons bought trucks from him too. My oldest bought a 2010 Dodge 1500, 4x4 crew cab and my youngest son bought a 2013? Chev Crew Cab 4x4 truck from him too, about a month or so later the Chevy had some problem with the Transmission. John refused to Honor the (Extended Warranty) he'd purchased, his wife was apparently running interference and refused to help my youngest son. My son apparently freaked out on them made a big scene, after she had freaked out on him in the office. he had to go to Amvic and go thru a transmission place for repairs. I did get lucky with the truck is purchased minus the hail Dammage, the other trucks he had at the time, had much higher millage or were older or more expensive. In all fairness it should be mentioned that for my younger sons truck, I did personally see him replacing most of the front end; upper and lower control arms and ball joints, brakes, calipers and rotors, basically the entire front end. Long story short, you can cut out the middle man, and go to the Calgary Auto Auction which is his main inventory supplier. Get your own truck and get it fixed on your own, saving half or third the cost. But it's all about the financing I guess. Good luck and BUYER, BE WARE.

After…read morehaving my local mechanic spend three months diagnosing and troubleshooting and issue with my 2008 Jeep (It came with a Mercedes Engine) they had reached the end of what they could do with out specialized Mercedes Diagnostic equipment. So they called Alberta European Motorworks and over several weeks discussed the issue and potential problems. Alberta European Motorworks assured them that they had seen this issue and could resolve it, and as such I spent the $400 to get my vehicle towed to Alberta European Motorworks. As soon as they had it, they diagnosed an un-related issue (Bad Glow plugs) and refused to do any other work until they resolved this un-related issue, at a cost to me of some $2000 to $10,000. The Service manager made some excuse about it having to do with how they warranty their work, which is an outright lie, as I did not need work on the glow plugs, I was well aware of the glow plug issue before i sent to it them, the issue with the glow plug has nothing to do with the engine stalling when it get's up to temperature (which was the issue described to them), so basically the service manager was simply trying to soak me for as much money as he could rather than fix the problem described. So in short, unless you want to be taken for a ride and charged for a lot of unnecessary work, don't bring your vehicle here.

My BMW wouldn't start on a cold winter morning. This problem had happened the year before. I had the vehicle towed to a friends garage to warm up, still wouldn't start. I then had it towed to AB EU Motorworks to get checked out (the tow truck driver that towed to my friends garage refused to tow it down to AB EU Motorworks, I had to call another company). Either way, trying to start the vehicle caused me to flood the engine according to them. Their diagnoses was - new battery, change spark plugs, do an oil change (as gasoline leaked past the cylinders and contaminated the oil). Sounds good - let's get it done. I went to pick my vehicle up - $1,800 Ouch - 260 diagnostics charge 600 for battery andinstallation. 500 for spark plugs and installation 80 dollars flush for oil 200 for oil change 100 for air filter I got the vehicle back home after cringing at the bill, and reluctantly paying it. The next morning my vehicle wouldn't start. Same problem as what caused the engine to flood. Their response - when it starts bring it back down here. These guys are good mechanics - don't get me wrong. But they will absolutely hose you on the price. I'll be looking elsewhere for my automotive services.
