When I brought the truck home and tried to put the prep kit in we found out underneath the brand new husky bed liner that was on the box when purchased, the prep kit for RV was smashed to pieces. There was a big dent in the box also where someone had not locked in there fifth wheel and it left a huge imprint. I Called the dealer back they stated that they had no idea and tried to basically say we did it but they would look into it. Well they found out the seller before us did it and the salesman that took the truck in didn't bother to tell anyone. So when I went back to the dealer to try to get some money taken off and the box fixed somehow. They just ground down the prep kit and didn't bother to take any money off. So I took the vehicle into an auto body dealership and they quoted me 7000.00 worth of damage to the truck box, damage that had been hidden under that heavy duty mat I did have further conversation via text message with the Sales Manager and he offered no real resolution just going round and round in circles. No offer of any amount of money off of the purchase was given. I emailed upper management and not even a response to my email. They could not care less. Buyer Beware. My recommendation would be, do not buy from Wheaton Chevrolet Red Deer.

The next day Alistair and Darren delivered the car after all the paper work went through as I had no way of getting it. Work in Red Deer, live out by Rocky Mountain House and they are in Innisfail. They were very sympathetic to my situation and helped me out above and beyond! Financing was dreadful trying to get the information to Loralie but she was patient and understanding. Made my stress lower by her sensitivity in my situation of doing this while working. Thank you all for making this happen for me. After my car broke down the week prior, finding another was beyond stressful. They definitely made things so much better!

Leaving subframe bolts (they are like 12'' long!) out after rear control arm work was one of the big ones of the past but recently we had the engine finally do the old rod knock, so as per the class action lawsuit to force a lifetime warranty on these, we had it towed to Gary Moe and tried our best to communicate through the lengthy ordeal (Oct. 21st to Dec 4th). So lets start with our service writer Gilles, someone with very little auto knowledge and lacking in customer skills, the kinda thing that you'd think would be perinate for the position? From the beginning it took a long time for them to tell us that a charge for original diagnosis and warranty approval may be necessary, and that charge would be upwards of $270. So we drove (an hour/100kms) and I removed the valve cover myself in the parking lot (hand tools took me about 20 min) and took the required pics (looked as new inside as we maintain it very well). After this we waited weeks for the approval and then more weeks for the work to start. Multiple times including talking to the GM we said I wanted a quick chat with the mechanic doing the work, that NEVER happened, and as a result multiple other issues came from that!! Once finally finished we received the car back with some dirty/missing/loose parts. I was expecting that (past experiences) so whatever, but it was just the overall time frame, lack of communication, general lack of automotive knowledge, overcharging threats, and poor workmanship that gets them the 1 star. They claim to have 5 things they promise to every customer who uses their services. 1. They will greet you upon arriving...this happened no problem there, unnecessary but whatever, it could be useful for some. 2. The car would be returned cleaner than it arrived....it wasn't the underbody tray had oil all over it (dry before). 3. They will perform a walk around at arrival... (to be fair it was dropped of by the tow company after hours, but we never had any paperwork or confirmation of this) 4. Status updates on vehicle progress....NEVER happened once! 5. A follow up a couple days after receiving vehicle back...NEVER happened. Be warned that you will most likely have a very subpar experience @ Gary Moe Hyundai, it's all we expect at this point.

There was no windshield. He hadn't ordered it. The windshield company wasn't called. Brandon just wished and hoped there would magically be a windshield, and didn't factor it that a person would have to drive, and wait for it to be done. Had I dropped off the car as directed, I would have waited all day for nothing. Brandon refused to acknowledge the issue, certainly didn't apologize. Now, a wasted morning, still no windshield, and I have to do it all over again. Brandon, do better. Try to actually serve your customers. We will Never buy from Mr Motors again.

The smile and service ends the moment you leave the lot in your newly purchased used car or truck. 2 years ago (Jan. 2014) I bought a 2009 F-150 extended Cab 4x4 5.4L low 86,K's. Thru First Access Financial of Edmonton @ 33.9% Intrest. I put $5,k down on $22,k price leaving $17,k for financing on bad credit. The truck had Hidden Hail Dammage snow covered. Was told at time of purchase that I could refinance after a year. Also told that the GPS KILL SWITCH would be removed, both were untrue. A year ago, after a year of having the truck I made several attempts to speak to John about Re-Financing the High Intrest loan with another of his lenders. I never heard from him, his wife ran interference always demanding to know who was calling and why, etc. just got the runaround. I was willing to even trade in if necessary, I gave up after weeks of no response went to Lacombe Ford and Go Auto tired to get trade in but didn't get good enough offer on Intrest or price of another truck, so just kept going with same truck and lender. This week after having truck for Two years in good standing, I tried again to reach John for Re-financing? and again his wife ran interference, EXTREMELY Nosey! wouldn't let me talk to him, he's busy or on the phone. Denied id ever being told I could refinance with him. They only do trade ins. after waiting all day, I figured well ok if I have to trade in, I called back to try to talk to him for a trade in. Once again his wife was rude and nasty on the phone, said id been rude a year ago, told her I was not! I'd been professional and just got run around form her, while trying to talk to John, she started screaming and yelling at me, told me I wasn't welcome there or my business and stop calling. She told me to go to Ford or go Auto. Wow! OMG, holly Smokes, very unprofessional and immature. I was prepared to buy a $20,k to $30,k new truck! Two years ago my two grown sons bought trucks from him too. My oldest bought a 2010 Dodge 1500, 4x4 crew cab and my youngest son bought a 2013? Chev Crew Cab 4x4 truck from him too, about a month or so later the Chevy had some problem with the Transmission. John refused to Honor the (Extended Warranty) he'd purchased, his wife was apparently running interference and refused to help my youngest son. My son apparently freaked out on them made a big scene, after she had freaked out on him in the office. he had to go to Amvic and go thru a transmission place for repairs. I did get lucky with the truck is purchased minus the hail Dammage, the other trucks he had at the time, had much higher millage or were older or more expensive. In all fairness it should be mentioned that for my younger sons truck, I did personally see him replacing most of the front end; upper and lower control arms and ball joints, brakes, calipers and rotors, basically the entire front end. Long story short, you can cut out the middle man, and go to the Calgary Auto Auction which is his main inventory supplier. Get your own truck and get it fixed on your own, saving half or third the cost. But it's all about the financing I guess. Good luck and BUYER, BE WARE.
