    What a joke this dealer has been over the years we have had our 2011 Hyundai Sonota. Every time it…read morehas graced this dealerships presence for warranty work or recalls we have had issues! Leaving subframe bolts (they are like 12'' long!) out after rear control arm work was one of the big ones of the past but recently we had the engine finally do the old rod knock, so as per the class action lawsuit to force a lifetime warranty on these, we had it towed to Gary Moe and tried our best to communicate through the lengthy ordeal (Oct. 21st to Dec 4th). So lets start with our service writer Gilles, someone with very little auto knowledge and lacking in customer skills, the kinda thing that you'd think would be perinate for the position? From the beginning it took a long time for them to tell us that a charge for original diagnosis and warranty approval may be necessary, and that charge would be upwards of $270. So we drove (an hour/100kms) and I removed the valve cover myself in the parking lot (hand tools took me about 20 min) and took the required pics (looked as new inside as we maintain it very well). After this we waited weeks for the approval and then more weeks for the work to start. Multiple times including talking to the GM we said I wanted a quick chat with the mechanic doing the work, that NEVER happened, and as a result multiple other issues came from that!! Once finally finished we received the car back with some dirty/missing/loose parts. I was expecting that (past experiences) so whatever, but it was just the overall time frame, lack of communication, general lack of automotive knowledge, overcharging threats, and poor workmanship that gets them the 1 star. They claim to have 5 things they promise to every customer who uses their services. 1. They will greet you upon arriving...this happened no problem there, unnecessary but whatever, it could be useful for some. 2. The car would be returned cleaner than it arrived....it wasn't the underbody tray had oil all over it (dry before). 3. They will perform a walk around at arrival... (to be fair it was dropped of by the tow company after hours, but we never had any paperwork or confirmation of this) 4. Status updates on vehicle progress....NEVER happened once! 5. A follow up a couple days after receiving vehicle back...NEVER happened. Be warned that you will most likely have a very subpar experience @ Gary Moe Hyundai, it's all we expect at this point.

The sales man was a slick Willy from the get go, but a lot of these guys can be. We came to what I thought was reasonable for our trade in, especially since they hadn't even seen it yet. Second we didn't pay MSRP and the difference I felt was okay, not great but we wanted this trailer. After we agreed on that they wanted 500 bucks just to start processing and it was non refundable if we backed out. Since we where purchasing it and not backing out it was a what ever thing. Once we got to the financing office the rip off started. They tried selling us the extended warranty. She hinted that the finance company needed that. Then they tried selling us on some road side assistance package. Then the yearly inspection that the finance company insisted on. BTW no finance company will demand these things. They will approve your or not it's that simple. What pissed her off the most was when I asked about just giving them cash, then I don't need all of that extra stuff. I wrote the cheque and as done with their crap, or so I thought. Delivery day was a week later. I have to say this part was pretty good. They threw in the 50 to 30 dog bone, not much but it's something, the slip plate for the 5th wheel again not much but. They fixed the two drawers that had bottoms that didn't quite fit. They couldn't find the dinning table (it was a stand alone type). They said they would ship it later. And it did. It took 3 months but we got it.

The first time i called the day before, the second and third times i called the day of, and still not ready when i get there! They eventually delivered it for me, but chose to send it out in a blizzard... Smack in the middle of 2 nice weeks of march weather, they send it out when the weather was so bad the delivery guy had to do 50kph most of the way... It goes without saying it was severely dirty and iced up... Thanks guys! Now having issues with pieces of the trailer they worked on during pdi.. We will see how the service end pans out, will upgrade rating if warranted. Update: Horrible service too!

So I stopped in and was immediately lept upon by a younger fellow eager to get my business. I am not against a go getter but I against facilitating the old stereotypical pushy salesperson who changes things as they please by the moment. There is never one left etc and as a Sales manger I would be appalled if any of my employees approached sales like this. I hope that they can iron out what seems to be some wrinkles lately on the service and sales side mind you I can't comment on the auto service part. in the end I left not to return and that is not to say I could not give another chance but I would sooner head to my Edmonton dealer whom I purchased from previously or to the place I eventually bought from after having a good experience. Good inventory but do your diligence and shop around a bit as most of the dealers are linked in some capacity and can find what you truly want. I do wish them luck in ironing out the wrinkles!

    I purchased a 2017 Titan in February, I was told that the truck passed AMVIC, had an engine…read moreinstalled with 52,000 and a new transmission. The engine light came on after driving it home. They straight up lied about repairs they said they did to remedy this, they didn't do the repair at all but charged me a deductible on warranty. The truck still had issues just the same and to include broken leaf springs and shocks. they installed the motor in worn mounts, she stinks like coolant, they replaced the grill shutters (or so they say they did), they replaced the steering column-the wheel now sits crooked. I have had this truck in their shop numerous times and the problems persist. I have been told to avoid driving it too much and to not drive it when it's hot. I took it to two other shops to diagnose but Wheaton ignored what was found and actually argued with me. I came to find out that their used sales guy has been charged with stealing millions in mutual funds. They do not criminal record checks on their staff. This guy even asked me to send him a picture of my credit card! The icing on the cake is that I got it back from the shop the last time with the back bumper punched up from underneath that now blocks my tailgate from opening. First wash of the truck revealed scratches from the front to back bumper yet no reports of accidents? Do not buy from this dealership. The lady in the service department is also abrasive and rude and dismissI've. Horrible all around. Biggest regret I have is ever walking in those doors. They got a low mileage Ram on trade in, that they grossly underpaid for. So they come out on top and I am stuck with a truck with piles of issues.
