This is my 3rd vehicle purchase from lacombe Ford! I live at gull lake and drive through lacombe all week for work so it's very convenient for getting all the oil changes and maintenance done ..but I absolutely love how I'm treated when I go there..they paid attention to me and they took the time to ask questions and helped me choose the right vehicle for what i do everyday..(they didnt try to sell me something I didnt really need )..I know most of the staff on a first name basis ..its like im stopping in to see friends ! My original dealings with Lacombe Ford began when I arrived in Alberta with a still warrantied Ford Escape that required provincial vehicle inspection. The tires on the vehicle were cracking on the sidewall, which the dealership in Saskatchewan would not deal with, even though the vehicle was safely under warranty. Lacombe Ford did not hesitate to replace them. When I came to purchase anther vehicle, I wasn't even considering seriously dealing there, but in the end, they had a vehicle I wanted, provided competitive pricing with minimum sales tactics that came from other experiences. I ended up paying a decent price for my vehicle, getting an OK price for my trade-in (with note that, generally speaking, you never really get a fantastic trade-in offer) and financing was really quite painless. And, if it didn't get better, I won $1,000 cash in a draw for those who bought vehicles there. That was just icing on the cake. I'll note that with the purchase of a vehicle at Lacombe Ford, they have a program called "Tires4Life", meaning that you will receive new tires when your old ones wear out, barring that you strictly adhere to their recommended maintenance schedule and do all your vehicle work at Lacombe Ford. I'm torn as to whether I really like this program because the tire selection is small and if the tires you choose are out of their allowance, you pay the difference. The tires I currently have are supposed to be their top all seasons and frankly, I hate them. I really am tempted to go somewhere else to get peruse a bigger selection. So, while I consider it a decent deal, it has some definite pros and cons. As for the Fast Lane Service, they've done great. I have no complaints other than the fact that they are very busy, which makes booking a little difficult. They get the job done and provide a free shuttle service. Awesome. Pushy sales people, lies mixed with high prices have been my experiences over the years, it's only now that I get to share this with the general public. I've bought 3 cars and recently a truck, nothing wrong at all with the vehicles themselves but the sales team were always ignorant unhelpful and border line vivacious. Why I kept coming back is beyond me but I notch it to the fact I love Fords and wouldn't settle for less and found it convenient to buy local. I can't tell how many times I got had by there shop doing work that didn't need to be done and then billing me without having called me first. My suggestion would be to shop around (Red Deer) or Edmonton would be a good bet to. I gave it two stars only because I was to blame for allowing them the luxury of having more of my business after getting sc****d over the first time. Steer clear ! read more
