Well, I had an appointment for 11am and I arrived at Honda at 10:30am because I don't like to be…read morelate. I decided to wait for the car rather than go all the way home. My car wasn't pulled into the garage until 11:30am and when I asked the service counter about the delay, they told me another car had taken longer than usual and they had to finish with that car before starting on mine. I was having a "rock chip shield" installed which should have taken 30 minutes. At 12 noon I asked again if my car was ready and they told me not quite yet as they were having trouble getting the rock shield to stay on on hood. They ended up taking the first rock shield off and trying a new different one, which fit. The whole process took about 2 hours and I was not impressed. I have since sold my Honda and moved to a different vehicle, which I love. Probably won't buy another Honda as they are WAY too expensive. And although I do agree that Honda vehicles are high quality cars, the astronomical price you pay is for the Honda logo.

My friend asked if we can test drive it, as the one we test drove at Honda had brake issues. The salesman had no problems for use to test drive and booked appointment (4 stars for him). we got there and the salesman we were dealing with was not there and put use through another man, but he was busy, so this lady took over, and we sat at here office. She started asking question what my friend looking for, payments etc, etc. we did this already with the first Salesman, why again. I did stated to the lady were here to test drive the SUV that my friend booked appointment for. she stated well i think the Rav4 will be a better choice. like omg if we wanted to test drive the Rav4 we would ask to, my friend wants to test drive Corolla Cross. Finally the lady stated she will get the SUV. Test dove it and stated to the lady we will keep in touch and left. I was not impressed with the service from this lady, first she should have the SUV that my friend booked for sitting by the door for us to test drive, second not try to change my friend minds and drive something that my friend wasn't interested in. I'm getting so gross on the dealerships these day, the questions they ask, the paper work they do before if the sale is final, it takes more time doing the paper stuff actually test driving the vehicles. this is getting stupid, my friend spent more time in the office then test driving. what happen with courtesy these day, when you go to a dealership you see a couple of vehicles your interested in, the salesman come to you and you stated to the salesman you are interested and would like to test drive. you give him your personal information, then you test drive. if you liked the one you test drive and interested in buying, that's when the paper work begins. While the service techs are usually quite nice, I seemed to be "bothering" them that day. I also had a "check engine" light on and asked if they could check it. They did, for $109 (most auto part stores do that for free). I was told that my engine light indicated that I needed some sensors changed out and a tune up - to the cost of $700. I decided to wait as that seemed like a lot of money. I borrowed a friends code reader and all that came up was that my fuel mixture was running a little lean. I was able to turn off the engine light through the code reader and it has not turned back on in weeks. $100 blown for "engine code reading" and $700 save for what I imagine was unnecessary repairs. Hopefully, if I go back again I will have a better experience.

I was asked why this wasn't something I would take to management, but honestly, I assumed encountering any number of aggressive sales tactics from any lot was part of the hard knocks you receive when making a car purchase. This one was extreme, but still like I said, part of the "experience". I am adding a star in this update for effort. However, I don't know if I am going to take them up on their offer.
