Cazzy's Corner Grill - Feta Dip, I'm addicted to this deliciousness!

We did not have any drinks but the offerings cover the local, standard and top shelf tastes. The staff is even invited to events to learn about food and drink parings. Lunch was grab and eat. It was very quiet becasue we were well past the lunch rush and before the early dinners. I needed something more than a salad or bowl even though several were tempting. Not always a burger guy, but a bison burger will draw my attention. You don't see bison much in TN. Delicious. Juicy enough I needed an extra napkin. The second reason I chose the burger was for the carrot fries. I don't ever remember having them before or even seeing them. Their good, no reason they can't be a replacemnt to traditional fries and they don't "sag" as much as sweet potato fries. In my case, the kitchen put potato fries on the plate rather than carrot fries. Our server, Daniel noticed it and brought out a separate plate with proper side. Great service there. Another upgrade is that seasoning on the fries. There are several different ones and they differ byt the dish and fry. It was fun to compare the difference on the plate. So, cazzy's is not at diner but a fine gastropub.

As always I watched all the dishes that passed by and everything looked delicious! My Sweetie ordered the Banana Brittle French Toast. I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and we shared the Million Dollar Bacon. I also enjoyed a Mimosa with FRESH SQUEEZED OJ!! Everything was AMAZING!! They have indoor or patio seating which is nice. Thank you for a GREAT breakfast!!

Two eggs (poached) choice of meat - Chicken Apple sausage patties, two come with this order and then seasoned breakfast potatoes (the diced up kind). Bread choice was sourdough grilled, but they missed that part and way too much whipped butter. Then they stacked it butter facing up on all the pieces, so now you have butter on both sides and it's messy!! Just a droplet of jam to go with your toast. Seems the kitchen was WAY overwhelmed with today. Super slow getting food to us. Service only made it by once to check on us and refill drinks. Just Sunday seems not the day to visit this First Watch. Also had an order of Million Dollar Bacon. So good when trying to take photo only one piece left.

We took a table in the bar area where one side is booth seating and the other a standard chair. The smaller tables could make it challenging for the different boards they serve but we managed just fine. We split the uncle Koli's happy hour portion of nachos and they were exemplary - layers of cheese and meat and fresh avocado drizzled with a unique barbecue sauce and sour cream were absolutely delicious. For mains we split a taco board and wedge salad. The portions are generous and our taco board had some really tasty steak that was well seasoned and cooked to order. They nailed the perfect medium rare and all the accoutrements were very fresh and rounded out the board nicely. 10/10 presentation. The wedge salad was a unique twist in using romaine lettuce instead of typical iceberg and again it was all very fresh and quite delicious. We finished our meal with a shared bourbon banana pudding and the only criticism was they favored presentation over palate in having the Nilla wafers floating on top so they were very crunchy rather than submerged in the amazing mix of pudding and whipped cream. I can't fault them though, look at the pictures attached - beautiful plating all the way around. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the star of our visit - Allie was our server in the bar evening and she managed to keep our drinks filled, answered questions and did everything with a remarkable attitude and friendly disposition. We'll definitely be back and if you're in the mood for farm to table grub in Knoxville don't miss Point B!

Shoutout to our server Brandon who took extremely good care of us and even remembered each of our names after checking our ID's for drinks. For apps we started with the crab rangoon dip and guacamole. The crab dip didn't have a lot of crab but it was cheesy, warm, and paired perfectly with the wonton chips. The guacamole was good, but the chips could've used some salt. Entree wise the shrimp and grits was great, but it was the smallest amount of grits I've ever gotten in a dish. The shrimps were cooked perfectly though. In general the entrees looked smaller than other restaurants but felt it was the perfect size to not be overly full. We ordered all three desserts and they were all yummy in their own way. I love banana pudding, this one had a kick of bourbon. The panna cotta wasn't too heavy on the coconut flavor and was creamy. The beignets were warm and so good as well! If I were in the area I would definitely be back for brunch!

It was pretty busy for a Friday at 9:15 a.m., but the line moved quickly and we didn't have to wait long. I loved that the bagel sandwich menu went beyond the usual, run-of-the-mill options. We got the steak sandwich on a dill havarti bagel and the bacon, egg & cheese on a celery salt bagel, with zhug on the side (think a spicy red pepper pesto meets chimichurri, with lots of aromatic spices). Both were fantastic! The bagels were a little softer than what I grew up with in NJ, but that texture actually worked really well with these sandwiches. Bagel sandwiches can sometimes be a messy, unwieldy ordeal, but these were perfectly constructed and easy to eat. The food was great, but the staff deserve a shout-out, too. Everyone was upbeat, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there and interacting with customers. That kind of energy makes a difference. By the time we finished eating, the line had grown to wrap around and extend outside the building, yet it still seemed to be moving along efficiently. Clearly, we weren't the only ones who thought this place was worth a visit! I wish we had a spot like this back home. Creativeii, delicious sandwiches, great service, and a fun atmosphere. 100% recommend!

The matzo in the matzo ball chicken soup was pretty good, as was the broth, they seriously skimp on the chicken. The wait staff are fast, efficient, courteous, and friendly. The manager Will is pretty cool. A odd side note; Customers in line thought it strange for a deli/ bagel place claiming Jewish heritage to have all the meat on all the sandwiches prepared Hallala (Sharia) compliant. No claim of being Kosher. Might go back if convenient, but not if it's out of our way.
