Matcha Latte with almond milk and simple syrup.
    Marlene K.

After discovering that our favorite local coffee chain location in the mall was closed permanently (whomp whomp), Yelp came through with K Brew. Looked at their menu online and they served matcha -- let's go! The inside is deceiving from the outside. It seems like a small little coffee shop, but once inside it's HUGE. Lots of seating, including hanging chairs. Will have to check those out next time. I saw a specialty drink on the menu with espresso and rosemary simple syrup. You do NOT want to see me on coffee/espresso!! I figured I'd just add the rosemary simple syrup to my matcha. The server told me it was a "weird rule" that they're not allowed to add their "specialty drinks" syrups to any other drinks. I was disappointed, but I'll live. Maybe someday this "rule" can go away? I'll cross my fingers. Got my matcha with almond milk, it was very good. My husband got his dark coffee. It was a good Sunday.

"Egg" = Homogenous yellow slab with too much pepper.

Nearly tasteless bagels that are overpriced. Ordered an egg sandwich, but the egg was obviously prepared well beforehand. It was a homogenous slab of yellow with too much pepper that had been sliced to fit a sandwich. If you want a delicious bagel sandwich made from fresh eggs, drive three minutes up the road to Best Bagels (cheaper, too).

We were visiting Knoxville for the weekend and decided to stop by this coffee shop in our way back home . We ordered a regular latte and Cinnamon vanilla latte and they both were great. For food I got Club Bagel Sandwich without the bacon . It had turkey , cheese , tomato and garlic aioli and it tasted VERY GOOD ! The bagel was big enough for two people to share so definitely check the size before ordering . The sandwich was so good that I finished it all by myself ! We also got a bag of coffee beans to take home and try their coffee . There's plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee plus they have hammocks in the back . There is street parking as well lot parking outside the coffee shop . Definitely recommend this coffee shop if you're looking for something local :)

The moment I walked in the place gave me such cozy vibes! Lots of various seating options. The menu was convenient to look at because they had a large one displayed as well as physical copies before you get to the front of the line to look over while you wait. Cashier was super friendly. Sandwich came out hot and filled with ingredients that all combined perfectly! Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

This place is obviously super cool and popular. It was absolutely PACKED on a Thursday morning and the parking lot was full. Many people camped out with laptops working and countless chatty hangout sessions. If you do plan to work there, I highly recommend noise-canceling headphones because it was loud and the tables all close together. The vibe is definitely hipster/modern, with metal seating and a few hammocks (that no one was using)-a great grab-and-go spot. If you want a cozier spot to curl up with a book or play a game with more of a living room feel, there are definitely other spots in town that fit the bill. You order at the counter and there are bagels and breakfast sandwiches, chips, coffee beans sold by the bag, and of course, coffee galore. I ordered a small mocha and medium whole milk latte for my friend and I and will admit that I was a bit surprised by the price. My mocha was tasty, but unfortunately lukewarm. The coffee was quality, though and not too sweet. My friend seemed to enjoy her latte and had high praise for her many K Brew visits. I will surely come back and also try out the new location with a drive-thru, as I am not sure this is a spot I would want to sit and relax in. Can't wait to try the delish-looking cold brew once the weather heats up a bit!

This was an early Saturday morning breakfast adventure and the morning sky was beautiful! Whenever my husband and I order bagels, we always order a savory and a sweet. Both choices were delicious! They gave a generous amount of meat on the savory that I could only eat half of my half of the sandwich. Well, that was because I devoured the sweet bagel...it came out first. I saved the leftover homemade cream cheese and used it on toast the next day. They have interesting lattes I'd like to try. Next time, we order drinks.

K brew is one of my favorite coffee shops. It's a cool vibe, with the option to sit in a hammock. It's also a welcoming environment to work from your computer. Plenty of people there were working even into the afternoon. My go to order is the vanilla cinnamon latte, it's not too sweet which I appreciate. I've also tried a toasted coconut mocha with chocolate syrup which is also pretty good. Today we tried the pizza bagel which was alright. I think I prefer their classic bagel/cream cheese combo.

The staff is great. They are super nice & pretty fast. The espresso is delicious. Though, I must admit that the flavor is diluted as a latte. I recommend an iced cappuccino if you prefer a coffee forward drink. I love it with the brown sugar syrup! I like trying the seasonal flavors, especially since they make syrups in house. My favorite right now (spring 2026) is the banana bread latte. Parking does get tight during peak hours, but something always opens up or you could try the neighboring lots if you're doing a quick stop.

The first day we came, the girls behind the counter weren't very nice. Well one of them was, the other wasn't very nice to me and I was kind of taking a minute to think. I wanted their strawberry matcha but they were out of strawberry (so sad). I got a brown sugar cortado instead and two bags of coffee for home. I also wanted a sticker but they were out. The cortado was delicious. Very good drink. My friend got a BOAT (brown sugar oatmilk latte) and that was also very good. I ordered a honey lavender matcha after and that was also very good! Great color on it! The next day we came & two guys were working the counter. They were nicer for whatever reason. I order another cortado. I also ordered first in my group and they actually forgot about my drink. The guy was super apologetic about it and we had a good laugh! I love cafe culture and this place has all the vibes with the really good coffee too! Just upset that they were out of strawberry and stickers

Inside, it has a touch of 70's flair and midcentury pizzazz in a small but serene space. Seating is limited, with a few cozy seating spots and many bar seats and low-top tables. The wi-fi was rockin' and many outlets being put to good, techie use. The barista warmly greeted us and quickly got to work with our creations-a cold brew and a hot latte. There is a $1 upgrade for dairy alternatives and any sugar and sweetener is in a self-serve area, not added into the drink (although the barista asked me if that's okay, thus, I think she would have added if I preferred that). They have sugar and stevia, as an FYI for anyone who wants/needs a different option. They have a few baked treats and a few seasonal coffee flavors and add-in flavors and beyond that, the drink menu is simplistic. My latte was the creamiest, foamiest latte in all the land. The coffee itself was a touch more bitter than we like but we were able to doctor it up nicely with stevia. Cute spot with a lovely view of the surrounding, scenic neighborhood.

Our order: seasonal latte and cold brew…read more I typically am not one for foam but this latte got me. Beyond its beautiful aesthetics, the milky layer provided a rich and nutty sweetness that complemented the dark and earthy tones of the espresso. The cold brew was quite the adventure, taking in every layer, one at a time. What started out as subtle sweetness quickly turned into a cacao aroma and ended at citrus tartness. Small but mighty brick and mortar shop in a quaint neighborhood across from a church and lined with other local businesses. Bar stools, lounge chair, work bench, they've got it all. Certainly a hidden gem in residential Knoxville. So glad we stopped by!
