I had the #11 hot berry waffle - it was excellent, but the berries were not "hot" temperature wise or spice wise. I'm not subtracting for that as I don't think it affected it flavor wise one way or another. We'd order both again. Service was quick and pleasant, as was the food. Will be back next time we're in the Andover area.

I had scrambled eggs and they were light and fluffy and tender. The steak was cooked exactly how I had requested and was tender and flavorful. The hashbrowns were perfect. The beer selection is very nice and their drink menu has something to offer for every patron. The food is great, but Point Nine desperately needs to widen their menu as it's a bit thin on options. I get it: you're new and still experimenting, but you're gonna lose patrons if you do not expand. Furthermore, the service was slow and our waitress openly complained that the "kitchen is too small to accommodate the dining space" and that Point Nine "did not have the food storage space needed to ensure that items did not run out of stock,"...which they did. If this is true - and all the evidence indicates it is - this is a major design flaw in the construction of the actual restaurant. Finally, the menu is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I brought my son for lunch here and did not have any alcoholic drinks, but the bill was still nearly $100. Unacceptable if you plan to sustain yourself in a small-market town with other, cheaper options just several miles down the road. I want Point Nine to succeed in Andover. I was seated immediately, the food was excellent again, and the customer service was outstanding. Time to order and food to table was minimal, food is delicious and the restaurant uses local suppliers where they can, so it supports local growers. The inside has a beautiful art deco vibe going and the lighting is dimmed so it sets the mood. The music isn't loud, so you have the subtle sounds of other people talking, and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen staff working. Overall one of my most enjoyable experiences for a first time here in Wichita. This is definitely a place I will be recommending to everyone, and be coming back to from now on.
