It's a smaller place in a strip mall; the decor is pleasant and they've got neutral music playing at a reasonable volume (can talk/hear over it). There are sweet and non sweet items on the menu. We opted to try the mainstays. The #18 Elvis crepe does have quite a lot of fruit in it; the flavor was balanced, but definitely more on the sweet side. I had the #11 hot berry waffle - it was excellent, but the berries were not "hot" temperature wise or spice wise. I'm not subtracting for that as I don't think it affected it flavor wise one way or another. We'd order both again. Service was quick and pleasant, as was the food. Will be back next time we're in the Andover area. read more

Oh my goodness. You have to go give this place a try. Don't be afraid of the unknown with the crepes if you've never had one... they are DELECTABLE. My husband and I tried the #22 savory with egg, bacon, mozz and spinach and the chef makes them right in front of you, and I'm telling you it melted in my mouth. I also don't feel too full afterwards. Will definitely be back. Cute little spot inside too, and the owners are so nice. Quick service especially when it's made to order. read more

This cozy, unpretentious restaurant is definitely a must-see! The owner is the operator and is very friendly, and an excellent cook. We tried the Valentine crepe and the Turkey Pesto Panini. We're so very grateful to Hot Berries & Crepes for a wonderful breakfast this morning! My friend treated me to breakfast after church and we enjoyed two enormous crepes -- #12 The Barn (featuring Nutella, strawberry, and banana then topped with whipped cream cheese, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar) and the #18 Supersize Elvis (featuring peanut butter, banana, and strawberry then topped with chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, and whipped cream cheese). Both were sensational and very generously filled -- plus topped with the freshest fruit. A feast for the eyes as well as for our tummies -- as evidenced by the lack of photos as we immediately dug in to split and devour our selections. Later, as we lingered to catch up after a few weeks apart, we were each honored to get to try the Berry smoothie. -- Wow! Thick, fresh vibrant flavors with a very generous serving of fruit. A delightful treat and a lovely way to top off our visit to their new brick and mortar location. This was an absolutely lovely crepes and waffle place!!! The man who was working there was so friendly and helpful! They have a wonderful selection of different varieties of waffles and crepes from the more simple toppings and fillings to more complex ones! The waffles there are so good! As soon as we were handed our food, just immediately you could smell the wonderful aromatics of the waffle! It tasted just as good as it smelled too! It was just the right amount of sweetness!
