I've had coffee around the country and The Coffee House is my favorite spot! Try the 16oz iced smores with vanilla cold foam...you won't regret it. Their iced mocha chai is also a household favorite. They have medium roast beans from a local supplier and it makes all the difference in taste. Lastly, their staff is always friendly and professional. Can't miss with this place! read more

AMAZING SERVICE and such good coffee!! I asked the barista to make me her favorite (a dirty chai w/ cinnamon) and it was so so good!! read more

I would probably say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Unquestionably, the place coffee shop in the area! The workers are super friendly, attentive, and make wonderful suggestions. I go here everyday now for the past 5 days in a row to grab coffee before work. There is never a long wait time even with a bunch of cars in front of you. They are quick and fast and deliver the amazing best coffee ever. I am in love with their seasonal drinks. I love the avalanche drink and the candy kiss drink. They have a punch card! 15 visits for a free drink! They have the most affordable and delicious coffee in town. read more

I've been going to this place since it was a coffee barn and I think maybe even a coffee shack? Anyway, houses are much more inviting than barns or shacks (depending on who you are, I suppose). Good local coffee, friendly workers, and a punch card I forget to take out of my car. The Coffee House. read more

This place is such a great little coffee shop! The line is literally always wrapped around the building but it's totally worth the wait. The staff is incredible and extremely helpful. Get the Apple chai- you won't be disappointed! ( I added brown sugar to mine and it was to die for!). I will definitely be back! Such a great local spot! read more

The Coffee House - a hand holding a cup of coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Derby, Kansas

Absolutely horrible beverage. The girls kept the window closed and handed me a beverage that tastes like mud. Don't spend your money here not a good environment. read more

We absolutely love the coffee house when we go and the owner is working it, at other times when she's not available or not working it takes forever to get just a single drink without waiting 10-15 minutes in the drive thru line. But love their drinks and food and they have a ton of drunk and food options all the time! I would give it 10 stars if the teens that worked there weren't so slow with the drinks/food and if they had an order ahead app as well. read more

My daughter and I recently moved to Derby from east Wichita. Due to the Covid shutdown, it hard finding a place that is 1) Open before 7am 2) Knows how to brew a cuppa coffee... I stumbled across this place one day and have been going back daily ever since! The lady at the window is pleasant and welcoming. My drinks always taste fresh and bold, never burnt.... yes this is a dig at the overblown national chain... read more

The Coffee House - Iced Americano - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Derby, Kansas

I love this place. There coffee is good not amazing but good the people that work there are really nice and remember you if you go a lot. They have eating tables outside and a drive thru so you can do whatever. You can't eat inside because it's just one small room. I feel bad for the ones that work there, I bet it gets really hot in summer and cold in winter so make sure to leave a good tip. read more

One of our favorite hangouts on a Saturday morning. From basic coffee to specialty lattes...they are hands down the best!!!

Definitely a favorite for myself and my daughter! Staff is always so friendly and everything we have tried is absolutely delicious!

First, I saw review from "Larry S" and I was completely shocked by his comments. The little Coffee House located there by Madrocks has been there for quite some time. They have earned a reputation for their products, their prices and their staff. This is why there are long lines - each drink is made to order and the result is highly satisfactory. Over the years, I have NEVER been treated rudely. As you can tell by the reviews, his is not the norm. Now, if you are in a rush and it's on the weekend, you may not want to visit this location. They did open another one on the west side of Derby on K-15. You can park and go inside to order, there are places to sit, options of foods including take home healthy meals, made to order. I recommend this place! read more

Long lines, little room to find space as you position to wait for the line to move up. Most of the drinks taste the same so I don't get the appeal. The girls can be very rude depending on who is working that day. Honestly, not worth it. read more

Great local coffee shop. I have been going here for years. They are in between Casey's and Madrocks. They also have homemade pastries and beirocks. You can also get breakfast burritos and smoothies. read more

The Coffee House - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Derby, Kansas

Absolutely love this coffee shop! My go-to is the lavender delight or wedding cake lattes. I worked at Starbucks for 4 years, and I can still say I like this little coffee shop better. The employees are so nice! Highly recommend. read more

Cinnamon rolls are way over priced for how small and dry they are. Besides that extremely nice workers.

For friendliness & a great cup of coffee this place beats any of the others hands down. Also on the menu are the bierocks. Absolutely delicious! This is a drive through though. read more

Very friendly service complimented by delicious coffee. The blended snickers and iced mocha were delicious. We moved to Derby a few months ago and I know where I'll be getting my coffee from now on. The drive thru is definitely a plus as well, with two children under 4. They are quick, kind, and the espresso is the best. read more

i would literally lay on a knife for all the employees at this place. not only do they make amazing drinks but they are all so sweet and deserve all the forehead kisses in the world. love them all so much read more

The Coffee House never fails to make the perfect frappuccino, freezer or smoothie. I don't think I have ever been in satisfied with how my drink is made! Their punch cards are super handy, I have almost filled up my third one and can't wait for a free drink. The coffee is less sugary and sweet, and more like actual coffee than drinking a chocolate bar, which I like. The freezers taste natural and not like fruit syrup. Also, the consistency of the drinks is amazing and you aren't left with gross, plain ice at the bottom of your frappuccino, the coffee is smooth and the smoothies and freezers aren't too chunky! Overall, an amazing little place! read more

The Coffee House - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Derby, Kansas

By far my favorite place for hot and frozen drinks! They have so many options and the baristas will happily help if you need suggestions! Super friendly and fast! All seasons this is the go-to place for your caffeine fix! read more

Before "that other coffee company" even thought about little 'ol Derby, this place filled a nitch and does it wonderfully. From great tasting coffee (dark roast for me) to fulfilling (I think) any 7 sentence, 5 minute order a person would want to give, I'm pretty sure they can do it. I no longer live in Derby. However, EVERY time I'm in town, this is my go-to place almost every morning. Besides coffees they have breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, and more. Last note. This is a local founded and run business. I'd support the Coffee House any day over a national chain that makes only similar coffee and charges more. Local business. Great products and service (with a smile). Worth supporting. read more

I love the service, coffee and pastries. I love the frozen latte with honey! Wasn't the biggest fan of burritos but I can understand why people love them. The staff is so helpful in making the drink like I ask and tastes even better than I can imagine. I sometimes. Go through there twice a day! Locally owned and operated. Sometimes the owner is in there. They do a nice job. read more

The best coffees, best flavors and combinations to chose from. The Coffee House offers a lot of variety of beverages, not only coffee, but tea (Love their Chai Tea) and their smoothies are very refreshing....love the mango. I have also had their Hot Chocolate to which you can add another flavor to, like raspberry in your hot chocolate....Yum. In the mood for a pastry, you can grab one with your coffee or tea. If I stop by at Lunch I can grab a Bierock. And super friendly service. The 'chain store' in town is purely awful and their service does not stand up to that of the Coffee House. In my opinion The Only Place to go to for Coffee in Derby. read more
