I always order our drinks with nonfat milk. Each time they ask or otherwise assume we can't have whipped cream. I asked once why they were asking, and they thought it was a lactose issue. Very confusing because that's not how lactose works lol. There have been other instances where it took 30-40 min for a drink based on time we ordered on the app to being able to pick up. Horrendous. They made drink after drink for the drive thru, but my online order just sat. We enjoy the drinks, but as the price creeps up we are now going other places more frequently instead. read more

I ordered a venti iced matcha with cold foam. Half of it was cold foam and the rest was matcha. I was basically drinking cold foam.

Service is great, the baristas make every effort to know their regular customers and my favorite barista makes me smile just by remembering "no straw". read more

Almost all the staff was great. They warned us when we came in and ordered that they were short handed and it could take about 20 mins. We understood and ordered to wait patiently. My daughter and I moved to an unoccupied area for distancing to wait for our drinks that we planned on leaving with (wife waiting in car). Daughter sits at a tall two seat table by window while we wait as we chat about having just done practice driving for her. A Barista with green hair comes to counter and loudly, with 10 or so others about, yells at us for sitting. I mention just waiting for our drinks and she says we have to stand. I ask if we needed to move to another area, she said no that we just have to stand next to the chairs. Could have been handled nicer and with much less volume. read more

The drinks are not consistent between the baristas and they need help with nice customer service. I asked for a sleeve for my hot drink and one girl literally were like " There right there! " like I was stupid, we'll every other Mobil order has a sleeve, so you don't put one on mine and I have to search for one? I've also had not rude but not pleasant service every time. read more

I ubereats/DoorDash from here and my food and drink always come unsealed or my order gets separated. I constantly have to drive over (DURING WORK) and come get the rest of my order. Today, I only received my drink and it was not safety sealed and the girl was holding the drink along with a drink holder. Where is my food? I walked over there and I see my food sitting in the basket, mind you... the whole order is supposed to be in a brown bag and taped up. Not separated and set at pick up, the Uber people won't know what all to pick up for one, and for two, it needs to be sealed up for safety. What the workers are doing is, it gets busy but they're not paying attention to delivery orders and just placing it on the pick up counter. Not acceptable at all read more

I saw a review for being a quick drive-thru, but I'm guessing they got the wrong location! I've been multiple times and it always takes 2 to 3 times longer than any other Starbucks that I've been to. Order ahead from park city and it might be ready when you get there slow! Drive-thru waits of 30 to 45 minutes for four cars in line is pretty typical. read more

32 minutes in the drive through line! Ugh, What's worse... we couldn't leave the line due to the curb and plants. They had us locked in. When we got to the window no apology... we mentioned the the wait and got a shrug. I've never been to a slower Starbucks. Even if there isn't anyone else in line you're going to have a long wait.

The Starbucks itself has a nice layout although the drive thru can be difficult to access if you turn too soon. It was very tidy on the inside with some nice reclaimed woodwork (although perhaps a little oxymoronic for the Derby strip mall where it is housed... I mean, how much fossil fuel was used just to transport the reclaimed urban wood to suburban Derby?). But, I digress. I'm giving this Starbucks 3 stars because of a 10 minute wait to get a black coffee at 1pm. For a company which has built their foundation on their Pike Place Roast brewed coffee, one might expect that drip coffee be readily available at any time during the day and not just brewed on demand with a 5 minute wait. Those expectations prove false at this Starbucks. I attribute the poor service at this Starbucks to an untrained and/or untenured barista staff, and hope that lower turnover rates will allow them to conduct better business in the future. read more

The drinks have been awesome, and the staff is great! My husband likes to joke around with them, and most places just kind of ignore him, or are rude, but all the employees have played along, and he even has a favorite barista now lol. read more

Over priced drinks. The girl that took my order (the one with green hair) was condescending when I placed an off menu order. She also kept fiddling with her mask and then placed her ungloved hands all over the lids of the drinks. The drinks were luke warm. Last night was the 1st time I have ever been to a Starbucks. I ordered the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino. It was prepared quickly, was visually appealing, and tasted delicious. The restaurant is nice inside and very modern. All the tables were clean and there is lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Overall this was was an excellent experience. read more

Great location on rock Road in Derby, it's a really booming area these days, very nice exterior of the store with seating outside which is great in the spring and summer and fall. Inside of the store is also beautiful and has a good amount of room. It also has a drive-through. My only reason for giving it three stars instead of five is because the one time I visited which was on a Sunday evening, there was only me and one other person inside The store, and for about 20 minutes solid the employees wouldn't stop talking trash with each other quite loudly so that we could hear throughout the whole store, I went back to order a couple different drinks and both times they very hastily made them and almost threw them across the counter and yelled "here!". I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that it was an off night for this location, but unfortunately that's the only experience I have to go off of from it. Id definitely visit again, you don't really go to Starbucks for the staff, you go for the coffee and tea. read more

This Starbucks location has gotten my order wrong 2 out of the 3 times I have visited. The baristas have not been pleasant at all...it is as if they are doing me a favor by waiting on me.
