We stopped in to Scoops recently for the first time. It's a cute little shop, just off the main street in Sewickley. The space itself is small, but there's ample seating outside. There is a good selection of flavors! They also carry a good selection of drinks, as well as some candy. They also carry Leona's ice cream sandwiches, which are delicious in their own right. I tried the cannoli flavor, and it was so tasty. Not too heavy but rich and creamy. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. Definitely will return! read more

Scoops is a local ice-cream chain that currently has several locations in the Pittsburgh area. My husband and I visited this location in Bellevue three times. The menu listed dozens of flavors of ice creams, some flavors of sherbet and yogurt, and even some flavors that are sugar-free or non-dairy. Customers could choose to put their ice creams in a cup, cone, drinks such as a milkshake or float, or sundaes. This restaurant also sells some desserts such as cakes and cookies. Please see my attached photos for the ice-cream menus in July 2024. During my first visit, I ordered a cup of black-cherry ice cream and roadrunner-raspberry ice cream, and my husband ordered a cup of banana-cream-pie ice cream and white-house cherry ice cream. The serving sizes were very large, and I rate the flavors as 5 stars. I also purchased a container of raspberry-almond-shortbread cookies, and I rate them as 4 stars. During my second visit, I ordered a root-beer float and a three-scoop banana split (customized with peach, strawberry, and orange-blossom), and I rate them as 5 stars. I also bought a container of peanut-butter-cup cookies, and I rate them as 4 stars. During my third visit, I ordered a waffle-bowl sundae that contained ice cream in the flavors of black raspberry, salted caramel truffle, and graham central station, and I rate these flavors as 5 stars. The best place to get a birthday cake! The Scoops in Bellevue made this amazing cake for my husband's birthday! You can pick any one of their ice cream flavors & chose from 3 different cake flavors. I just mentioned it was a pizza party and the lovely lady named Nancy offered that she can decorate it to look like a pizza and boy did she hit it out of the park! They have so many flavors! I've been to their location in Bloomfield, but the Bellevue one is by far nicer. It's just a bigger and newer space. I tried their strawberry cheesecake and honey roasted peanut butter. The strawberry cheesecake was good and it was what I expected. The peanut butter was amazing! There were chocolate chips throughout and the peanut butter taste was just so rich. I didn't like the chunks of actual peanut butter though. It was almost like fudge when frozen. I have stopped by here twice in the past couple of months, once with my wife and her parents and the other time with just my wife. The first time we headed over here was because another ice cream place had just closed and this was the closest other one while our second trip happened because the first was so successful! Scoops in Bellevue is located right on Lincoln Avenue in the heart of the Bellevue business district. The inside of this place consists of a number of freezers with all of their ice creams and then another freezer with some other goodies. Their flavors are on blackboards behind the counters and on my first visit I was only expecting them to have a limited number of flavors. However, I couldn't have been more wrong as they have a multitude of flavors and I counted at least 44 on the blackboard. For my ice cream on my first visit I went with a single scoop of birthday cake and then on the second visit I went with a single scoop of strawberry cheesecake. Both of them were quite good but I think I preferred the cheesecake over the birthday cake. On our first trip to Scoops my wife got her ice cream in a waffle cone bowl which she obviously enjoyed since she ordered it on the second visit too. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I thought that the ice cream tasted great and also thought that you got good value for your money here. read more

I can't decide if I was more excited about the aroma of the freshly made waffle cones, or the delightful ice cream flavors and products in my view. One thing is for sure, I was really excited to see this new addition in the town of Bellevue . Such a welcome sight , and long overdue. The shop is cheery, spacious, and welcoming. Prices are in line with what one would expect with scooped ice cream. Their milkshakes looked refreshing. Lots of fun flavors to go around. My only comment is that there did not seem to be any consistency on the scoop size from one server to the next. A child's portion ended up being larger than the requested adult scoop depending on which server waited on you. read more

It's nice to have a nice cream store close by when you're having a craving. It must be pretty new. We were excited to see it open. They have so many different choices and don't mind offering samples. They have a lot of the usual suspects and some nice creative and fall flavors. I tried the pumpkin pie, which was ok. Then I tried the cinnamon bun and it was delicious with large pieces of cinnamon. It was exactly what I was looking for and hit the spot. My husband had a waffle bowl with German chocolate and peanut butter pretzel. He said it was creamy and delicious. My friend and I made an impulse decision to get ice cream before settling in to watch a movie. I am so excited that Scoops in Bellevue is finally open. They did a wonderful remolding the old Froyo store and made it into a fantastic new ice cream shop. They have over 40 flavors to choose from - ice cream cakes, cakes, brownies, and so much more. I hit up Scoops around 9:30pm on a Friday night. I believe they are open to 10:30pm on most nights. It wasn't too crowded, so we sat at the counter by the windows. You can either get kid size scoops or adult size scoops. The staff is so friendly - they let you try whatever flavors you want. I tried the strawberry, White House cherry, and the Peanut butter Pretzel. I ended up getting the pretzel flavor & vanilla in a cup. It was delicious! I will definitely be back to visit Scoops again soon! This place is a great addition to Bellevue! read more

I was very excited to see this addition to Bellevue. The first thing that caught my attention when I walked in was the delicious smell of fresh waffle cones, I knew I had to have one! The atmosphere of the shop was great. It was quiet, clean, and the employees were helpful and polite. There were so many good looking flavors to choose from, it took me a while to decide. The employee waiting on me was patient, which I appreciated. I ended up choosing a waffle cone with a scoop of black raspberry and a scoop of chocolate almond. I really enjoyed both flavors and the waffle cone tasted as good as it smelled! The ice cream was nice and creamy and had great flavor. For the first time in a long time, I actually finished the entire ice cream cone. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors! read more

It is so nice, but at the same time deadly to my waistline to have an ice cream place in Bellevue. It is definitely a nice addition to the area. They have so many different flavors/types and you are able to taste test before purchasing. I think what I love best about it is the $5.50 pint of ice cream of whatever you like. I was so so so excited when this place opened up within walking distance of my house. I called up some friends and we all met for an after dinner dessert. There were SO MANY FLAVORS to choose from it was kind of overwhelming. I like to get a double scoop, so that I can make it through the menu faster! As one early reviewer mentioned, the scoop sizes were pretty variable early on, but now that they've been open for a bit, that seems to have settled down. Stopped by during covid and they are doing a great job and keeping things inside the store safe. 4 people with masks on at a time. There is a line outside with a menu on the glass to help you decide on your order before getting inside too - which helps because there are SO MANY delicious flavors to choose from. The prices are so reasonable too. It's three dollars for "one" scoop - but it's actually a giant ball of ice cream that fully fits into the cup. They have him print cookies and a few other bakes goods for sale. Waffle cones and plenty of toppings to chose from. There was some seating out in front and street meter parking. Friendly staff. Weirdest experience ever in an ice cream place. Went in tonight--we were the only ones in the place. Went to look at the ice cream under the glass, but they had it papered over so you couldn't see the ice cream. You had to read the flavors and imagine want the ice cream looked like. Seriously. I asked why they were hiding the ice cream and the server cheerfully told me--no lie--"Because we don't want, you to look at the ice cream too long. We want to get you in and out." The shop is always clean and the staff are nice and polite. They offer a variety of ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and other frozen treats. All reasonably priced for the quality of the products. I highly recommend the red velvet, banana cream, or Superman.
