HORRIBLE Customer Service on the sales team side including managers. Long review but I want to cover everything so I'm accurate on the events . On Wednesday June 18th 2025 my Step daughter and I came into Ralph Schomp BMW to purchase a Vehicle we had seen online, We waited for a sales person and met Gabe (sales guy) , We talked about a specific vehicle they had for sale and was looking at trading in a Ford f150 Blackwidow Custom truck and depending on the worth would pay the rest in cash. Went on a test drive and told Gabe we were ready for the next steps, A manager (Ben) had to assist to find the value of the truck (being a special addition Blackwidow ) , We waited in the dealership for well over 2 1/2 hours until we decided to go eat , they only came up to us 1 time within that 2 1/2 or more wait to say sorry were working on getting a value on the truck. Gabe said he would call us when they had a value and the build on the truck (note I sent them the build with the Vin number from the dealer and company that built the truck for Ford ) , 5pm ish came around so I called Gabe and he said " The shop sent me up to boulder so when I get back I will call you" NO call back , Next day Thursday the 19th 2025 I emailed Ben and called the sales manager to see if he had received the build specs yet , Well Gabe then send me an email and said " Chad , I told you yesterday I'm Off Thursdays." Not once did I hear or read that he was off on Thursdays in texts emails or in person same with my Step daughter, ok fine so I again called Ben (the sales manager) and he said the truck came back at $40,000 ( first it was $35,000 then $39,000 Now $40,000) also Ben told me he got the build on the truck but it was a different truck so he was comparing it to mine ( even though I sent the accurate build with Vin ) and said its only off by $1,100 dollars lol ok , I said ok I would like to trade the truck and 5 to 6 grand for the car which was dropped online another $500 bucks Wednesday night ( have pictures ) to $47,912 , so a difference of $1912.00 ok not bad I could even honor that because of how much we wanted the car I could up the cash , Ben told me " Let me see what I can do to make it happen and ill call you back" NO Call Thursday or Thursday night NO text , NO email Nothing, Ok Friday morning 10am June 20th 2025 I went to the website to look at the car again and it was gone. I called both Ben and Gabe since they both were working on this deal 3 to 4 times, left messages , NO call back NO answer till I kept calling the store , finally Ben came to the phone and I said you never called me back and now the car is off your site? , he said yes it sold yesterday Thursday ( Gabes day off) I said wait we were working on all this to complete the sale and he said well I don't know why Gabe didn't call you ! REALLY Ben said he would call Thursday after he figured some stuff out ( meaning making the deal happen) , Ben called around 1:15pm and said "Im sorry " wait really that's it no car no deal wait was I confused so I told him why didn't you call me when you said you would to make this deal happen and all he said was "sorry" I can try and find you another car , WHAT so basically I wasted 3 days on the vehicle we wanted that I thought they were working on and sold the car from underneath us and I get a sorry followed by a bunch of excuses and lies that he was called out on by me. So basically their customer service has gone from customer service to let's just make a sale anyway we can. My recent vehicle purchase from Schomp BMW on 11/24/2025 was a deeply disappointing experience that directly contradicted the dealership's advertised "One Price. One Person. One Hour" commitment. The process was characterized by signficiant delays, poor communication, and a failure to address post-sale issues, falling far below the standard expected of a premium brand. My primary concerns are as follows: -A complete disregard for my time. Despite a clear 9:30am arrival and communication of a 12:30pm appointment, the purchase process extended to over 3.5 hours due to unexplained and frequent delays. My salesperson - Micah - was repeatedly unavailable, failed to communicate next steps, and left me unattended multiple times to the point where I had to have reception page him and personally seek help from the finance office. Even after I stated I was late for my appointment, he continued to attempt upsells, demonstrating a blatant disrespect for my schedule. -Failure to Honor a clear post-sale assurance. During the test drive, I noted the front end felt out of alignment. Micah assured me that Schomp had a 30 day post purchase inspection warranty on the vehicle and anything that was found in the post purchase inspection of the vehicle would be addressed (outside of the engine). I took the car to a Acura dealer and it was confirmed that the car needed a tire alignment, wheel balance and they also found the rotors were warped and the brakes were between 4-5mm, a direct contradiction of the dealership's own "Multi Point Inspection Form" which falsely recorded them to be at 7mm "or greater". This is not a simple oversight, it is a misleading document. Despite multiple attempts via email, phone call and multiple texts, it took over 5 days to receive the dismissive reply "I did not have luck with the alignment". A detailed email was sent to the General Sales Manager for resolution before the 30 day "warranty/guarantee" expired - I'm still waiting. -Unacceptable vehicle condition at delivery. The interior was saturated with an overpowering, non-optional fragrance that has caused persistent headaches and remains a nuisance - an unprofessional and intrusive detailing choice for a delivered vehicle. The pattern of poor communication, disregard for commitments, and provision of inaccurate documentation reflects a systemic failure in customer care. Shop elsewhere. read more

I brought my 2023 Alpina B8 into Schomp for a routine inspection. I raised a concern about my front right tire after a technician warned me about it. My service advisor told me it was fine, and I left with a report showing all greens. The very next day, that same tire failed while driving and damaged my wheel. When I returned, their manager Christopher admitted the rim was already damaged during the original inspection -- they just didn't document or mention it. Since then, I've been passed off repeatedly, promised call-backs from upper management, and ignored completely. I've filed with BMW NA, spoken to their team multiple times, and still the dealership refuses to take responsibility for what is clearly a service oversight. From reading other reviews, I now see I'm not the first person this has happened to -- and I want others to be aware of how Schomp handles serious service issues. Initially my experience was good. The sales person Zach was very responsive and helpful. They offer great add on packages which is great for newer cars. Unfortunately, the day I went to buy the car an employee at BMW hit it and scraped up the front of it and the bumper. I was not told this before arriving but when I got there I was promised the dealership would fix it and had it in the contract. They were willing to drive down to pick up my car and give me a loaner car which was nice. They had my car for a week and only fixed the paint. There is still damage that was not fixed. Ben the sales manager called me and said they would make it right but I have not heard from him again and was not given an update. I'm attaching "fixed" pictures of my car to this review. Be very weary of this dealership if there is something that needs to be fixed. Have them fix it before you buy from them. read more

Schomp BMW only cares about taking your money and disappears after the sale. Their lack of accountability, follow-through, and customer care is unacceptable. I cannot recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealership--they simply do not care about you. I purchased a brand-new 2025 BMW X5 xDrive50e (MSRP $80k) from Schomp BMW Highlands Ranch, expecting top-tier service and reliability. Instead, just THREE DAYS AFTER PURCHASE, a check engine light came on, and I had to bring the car into their service department. The service team has been vague and suspicious, failing to provide clear answers about what's wrong with the car. They told me the issue is likely a faulty IHKA module, but even they are unsure if that's the root cause--it's just where BMW Engineering says to start. To make matters worse, the part has to come from Germany, which will take 2+ weeks. At best, my car will be in the shop for nearly 20+ days, assuming this part even resolves the issue, which many BMW forums suggest is unlikely. I spoke with my sales rep Caleb and General Manager Darrick, hoping they would help. While they initially told me they'd get me a loaner X5, no one has followed up. They are unwilling to provide any financial compensation, buy back the vehicle, or help me find a replacement car. I even sent an email outlining everything in writing after consulting with my lawyer, but both Darrick and Caleb have ignored it. Despite promising updates, I have received no proactive communication. I've had to track them down for every update. The loaner car they gave me is significantly smaller than my X5 and comes with a ton of restrictions (no dogs, limited miles per day). I was also told that I might need to go through Enterprise for a rental, with no guarantees on the vehicle I'd receive, as BMW loaners are only meant for short-term use. This experience has been beyond disappointing. For a luxury dealership, Schomp BMW's lack of professionalism and customer support is unacceptable. If you're considering purchasing a car here, I strongly advise against it--they will disappear as soon as the sale is finalized. Part of the written contract is a commitment to reimburse me for the purchase of a second keyfob for the car since it only had one. On 7/11/25 I provided the sales manager Michael Tizzani with an invoice for that second keyfob. More than a month later I've received no reimbursement check. And the sales staff (Austin Dilg) and sales management (Michael Tizzani) have stopped returning my calls and emails. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. read more

In 2018 I bought a 2018 BMW 440i x-drive from Schomp BMW. When committing to the purchase by phone, the salesman requested a $1,000 credit card deposit. When reviewing the final paperwork I noticed the $1,000 deposit was not accounted. It took weeks and numerous calls to Schomp BMW to secure the return of the $1,000 deposit. About a year later the seat adjustment malfunctioned. The Schomp BMW service advisor speculated I had placed something under the seat causing an electrical short. I had not placed anything under the seat to cause such a malfunction. When picking up the car I noticed issue had not been corrected, despite being informed the malfunctioning seat had been fixed. This resulted in having to leave the car with Schomp BMW four more days. After the 440's warranty lapsed I used the services of an independent shop, specializing in BMWs, for an oil change. During this service the oil filter housing cover was found to be missing. I was advised such a cover would need to be obtained from BMW. The part cost me $54.65. Shortly thereafter while at Schomp BMW Parts I provided the part number for the oil filter housing cover and was informed the part would cost me $91.00. After receiving information on service specials on July 3, 2025, I took my other BMW to Schomp BMW to have both front seat brackets replaced. It took several days for the parts to arrive. After paying for the service and picking up the car my wife noticed one of the newly installed seat brackets began to bend when adjusting the seat. This was brought to the attention of the service advisor who admitted he had not inspected the replaced brackets while indicating had he done so he would have caught the issue. The car remained with Schomp BMW. I was later informed another seat component was needed to properly install the seat brackets resulting in several more days delay in correcting the matter. During this service Schomp BMW had the nerve to charge $43.19 for "shop supplies." The service advisor informed me shop supplies are a standard charge at any repair facility. This was news to me as I have not been on the receiving end of a standard shop supply charge at other BMW shops. Schomp BMW, you need to slow down, pay attention to detail, and cease nickel and diming customers who have already paid a dear price for their vehicles. Caveat emptor! Christopher R. read more

Did not get back to us then when th y finally did said it would take an additional week for a brake fluid exchange because the car had been 'taken out of the shop'. We bought our 2020 X5 with all the options and thought we were buying the service and pedigree that came along with it. We could not be more wrong. Know this: Anytime you need a warranty item covered, you will not be given a loaner or a rental car for the time your car is in the shop. You will be expected to spend your own time and money procuring your own transportation. $75,000 doesn't get you much anymore does it? The maintenance department manager never calls back but it's probably because they fire a new one every six months. You will not build any relationships at this dealership like back in the old days. I scheduled my appointment with Mike today, August 19th, and made the 4 hour drive from Aspen in order to get an oil change but more importantly get the charging port on my car fixed. When I arrived I was told that they would be unable to service the car for at least two days and would only be able to offer an oil change today. I questioned them why they wouldn't inform me that they were backed up because I would not have made the 4 hour journey to highlands ranch knowing I wouldn't be able to get my car serviced. In addition they were unwilling to work with me in any regard to get transportation back to Aspen. In fact, he questioned my financial ability and suggested I purchase a flight from Denver back to Aspen while I waited for the service to be completed. I don't think I've ever had a service advisor question my ability to pay for something. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. I drove 4 hours after confirming that I would be able to get my nearly new car serviced and was in disbelief at the service and treatment I received from Mike Gibson. Please, heed the warning of both my experience and others and steer clear of Schomp BMW. read more

If you want to feel like a million bucks when buying a car, this is the place to go. There's a reason Schomp BMW is considered the #2 BMW dealership in the country, and while I haven't been to the #1, I wouldn't be surprised if they sped past the competition. I just purchased a new BMW M440i here and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had been looking at trading in my vehicle, so I went to multiple places to see what vehicles they had and what they would offer me for mine. While Schomp BMW didn't offer the most money for the trade-in, it was very fair and made me happy. Everyone I met was extremely professional, courteous, and made me feel like I wanted to be there. They weren't pushy, they were honest, and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Let me contrast this with my experience at Arapahoe Hyundai (Genesis). If you're looking at purchasing a Hyundai or a Genesis, drive 15 minutes West on Arapahoe and visit Genesis of Littleton on Broadway. That is, unless, you enjoy getting "taken out back." I won't delve into the details of the dishonesty and skeevy practices that occurred at Arapahoe Hyundai, but if I'm looking to spend $80k on a new vehicle, they would be the last place I would go. Even though they offered $2,500 more on my trade-in, it's the little things - like being offered a bottle of Fiji water or a fresh cappuccino - that really go a long way. Back to Schomp BMW, I truly enjoyed every minute I was in the store, and I've enjoyed every 1/4 mile leaving it. I have nothing bad to say about any of the other local BMW dealerships, but being the #2 store in the country has its perks. They get priority over quantity and quality of vehicles - ones you may never find for sale within a 1,000 mile radius. I bought a used Tesla from Jeff. What a nightmare. I live in Colorado Springs (1hr away) so I tried to do as much as possible prior to going up there. First of all, I asked about damage and autopilot. I was told incorrectly on both. The vehicle had some cosmetic damage to the front, the rear, and the hood. Also, the car had a bad tire. I was told the Tesla had autopilot, it did not. Lastly, the car did not come with a charging cable. Schomp gave me $200 and said that was all they could/would do. The registration was a mess too. It's been 2 months and the DMV and I still haven't received the paperwork necessary to register the car. I had to go in (to the DMV) and get a second temp registration because it is taking Schomp so long. UPDATE: It's been 6 months. It cost $2,000 to get autopilot/Full self drive and $2,500 to have my body shop repair all the damage. What's worse? I've had two major issues with the car! One required a tow-in to Tesla because rodents had chewed up wiring harnesses (with the previous owner) so much for a multipoint inspection. Any seller with an ounce of integrity would have done a thorough inspection and caught it. Now I'm lookin into legal action, lemon law, etc. I have NO IDEA how much of the wiring is compromised. Getting involved with Schomp was the biggest mistake I've ever made. What a crappy deal. Another thing for me to remember about 2020! The photos show rodent debris and damage.
