They went above and beyond with the installation and catered to my certain requests for placement. The technician Samuel was really nice, knowledgeable and professional, give that man a raise! Highly recommended shop for all your electrical wiring and electric accessory installations.

Starting with the great, the shop is nice and people are friendly. The work area was clean which is a good indicator of the care they'll put into your vehicle. The actual installation work in my car was good quality. Where things fell short is largely with communication. My install included a sub amp and an LC2i. The total cost, including parts as I did not provide any wiring kit, was $420. I believe 3 hours of this was for labor. I was okay with the price as it including all the install hardware and the install itself was done cleanly. However, I never received a quote or an estimate and was just told the total at the end when picking up the car. They finished at the end of their day and sent me on my way without really showing me what was done. Including where things were installed. The second lapse in communication is with the LC2i. When I dropped the car off I listed the components I had for them to install. They never called or asked where to install the LC2i or the amp. In my past experiences these ended up in the trunk so I didn't think I needed to be specific. They ended up putting the amp under the passenger seat, which is okay but not ideal. It's good that I can access the controls to tune the system but when the seat moves forward to let someone or my dog in the back seat, the amp is exposed to being stepped on if someone isn't careful. The LC2i unfortunately was hidden under the dash, like it's a high low converter. Leaving it completely inaccessible and i was unable to use any of the adjustments to tune it, or have easy access to the outputs for future expansion. I was disappointed that these locations were not seemingly thought through with accessibility in mind, and that I was not asked for preference before they decided to hide the lc2i. When I called back and spoke with Guy, he at first offered to move the lc2i for additional labor costs, but after hearing my concerns he graciously offered to schedule another appointment to have them relocate it free of charge. This was very positive and appreciated. I'm not always comfortable having someone "redo" work on a car, and instead offered to buy some additional gear so I could pay them to install those and have them move the lc2i while they were at it. They price matched/beat crutchfield on the items I wanted, which also great. But then the quote to install a jl audio rd400 and upgrade the component speakers in the front doors was $845 (for parts and labor). I had to decline the quote. I will say that while their prices ultimately aren't for my preference, the work was done well and they were reasonable when hearing my concerns. If you go with them, please over communicate instead of simply hoping for the best as I did and you should be left a happy customer.

They referred us to the Kia dealer, which I knew would be very expensive. So I did some research online and found Franklynn Automotive. I called and described the situation to Steve. He said they likely can handle it, but would start with a complimentary second opinion. After their inspection, they determined that the hose does not need to be replaced and we only needed to refresh the refrigerant, which they do have the equipment for. In addition, the reason the other shop might have suggested the hose replacement was because of a leak related to the axel. All in, the repairs would be substantially less than the dealer quote for work that may not have been needed in the first place. Overall, great experience with Franklynn.

He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.

I came here after a nightmare experience at a nearby competitor that ended in a blatant $1,400 bait and switch on a lease deal. I was ready to walk away from the whole thing. I walked in hoping to prepay a 24-month lease and was bracing myself for a battle just to get close to what the other place had originally promised. Not only did Kenny beat that number out the door, but he also took the time to offer real advice that showed me this dealership actually values long-term relationships--not just quick sales. After Kenny locked in the numbers, I worked with Matt, the salesperson, who was patient, understanding, and genuinely helpful. He walked me through the features of the car without the usual pushy vibe you get elsewhere. I wrapped everything up with Grant in finance. Super sharp guy--he was transparent about every line item, walked me through the optional add-ons, and even gave me solid insight into what the dealer checks for at lease turn-in. Zero surprises. In an industry full of games and gimmicks, this team was a breath of fresh air. Kenny especially deserves a shoutout--if he could turn my day around after what I'd just gone through, I have no doubt he'll take care of you and your family too.

I asked when I called, and on 3 subsequent calls , if they had all of the parts. I would need to leave my car for the day and they'd give me a loaner. When I dropped off the car. They said it'd be ready by 4:00. The service advisor was Candace. She was extremely rude when going over the rules of the loaner. She never went over the recall items. Told me how much I'd be charged if I broke any of the rules. I called at 3:30 to ask if it was ready- nope. They didn't have the parts. It would be the next day. I am self employed, I own a pet business and have dog crates in my car 24/7. I had to empty everything out for this appointment. And I had to get everything put back inside once I had my car back. I explained that they were costing me income- she didn't care. She blamed everyone else for the mistake. I went to pick it up at 11:00 the next day. After receiving a text to make sure the gas tank was exactly as full as when I picked it up. She threw my key at the guy next to her so he could take payment. He took payment, didn't explain any of the work done and took me to my car. Candace did say one thing- where are the keys for the loaner? I also had them do an oil change, I did get a message from the service guy that the air filter needs to be replaced. I authorized that but never heard back. Hopefully the oil change and all of the recall work was done. They did charge an extra $30 labor to replace the filter, which is odd since they had it out for the video they sent. I did call and leave a message with the service manager, and so far he has not returned the call. Candace may want to rethink the customer service role, as it was not at all important. It seems that getting as much $$ from the customer is the big priority. Why be nice for recall work since you don't make $$. Unfortunately for McDonald Hyundai, when I replace this car, hopefully with a Santa Fe, I will not purchase it from them. All they had to do was honor their word. Nope. Extremely bad customer service!!!! I with I could choose no stars.

First, they charged $825, which is $200 more than most dealers. Then they mucked up the appointment time by an hour and a half, leading to 3 hours at the dealer for what is supposed to be a 30-60 minute job. They utterly butchered the install. They carpeted OVER the front bed hooks and Boxlink plates. They carpeted over the drainage tubes for tonneau cover, making them inaccessible. They carpeted over the tailagate, despite explicit and repeated instructions (including that day!) not to since the truck had a ProAccess tailgate that would be rendered unusable. They miscut the holes for the storage bin, bed lights and ProPower port and did not secure them, leading to gaping, misshapen holes, and room to stick your hand in behind the loose carpet. See pics for all of the above. After pointing this out, they refused to take responsibility. They claimed they "had" to carpet over the tailgate, and that they did not cut any holes...it arrived from Ford that way. Two other dealers looked at their work and said these rugs do not come precut, and they had never seen such shoddy work. (This is my third F150, and my third Sportliner...I know how they are supposed to look.). The only solution and end result: I paid a reputable dealer to rip out the ruined Sportliner and throw it away, bought a new one, and had it installed correctly at another dealership. It was done in an hour and for hundreds of dollars less. Caveat emptor.
