Excellent service and the best deal in town. Their experts searched for the best deal for a brand new set of tires. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment for an oil change. It took two hours. They will overbook and not let you know.

I came into Christian Brothers Automotive on Town Center with some pretty serious engine trouble,…read moreand the team there took great care of me from start to finish. Will helped me every step of the way--he was knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to explain my options so I felt comfortable with the decision. I ended up not going with the full engine swap, but the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. The communication throughout everything was excellent, and I really appreciated how helpful and honest Will was. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and the experience. I'll definitely be coming back to Christian Brothers Automotive for any future automotive needs. Highly recommend! -Shaffer

I brought my car in for a stalling issue. The initial diagnosis cost $775 to replace a battery…read morecable and add a ground screw, which felt very high. Afterward, I was told the car had multiple oil and coolant leaks and was quoted an additional $3,500 for repairs. On a car worth about $4,000, this didn't make financial sense. When I declined the extensive repairs, there was no discussion of smaller, interim solutions or things I could try myself; the only suggestion was financing the full amount. The immediate next step was being asked to retrieve my vehicle. The shop was extremely busy, and I left with the impression that they prioritize large, high-cost jobs. Disappointed with the experience and lack of flexible solutions, I will not be returning. Update to my previous review: It's been two weeks since I picked up my vehicle, and I have not observed any oil on my driveway. This seems inconsistent with what I was told about the severity of the oil leak issue during my visit. I have checked the oil level multiple times and it appears to remain at the same level. After posting my initial review, I received several phone calls from the shop owner requesting that I modify my review. I eventually asked that these calls stop. Service details: I paid $180 for initial diagnostics, during which I was told there was an 80% probability that the problem was my battery cables. I then paid $235.19 for new battery cables, but it did not resolve the issue. A subsequent diagnosis costing $359.98 identified a bad ground wire, which was then repaired by tapping in a new wire. Additional observations from my service experience: When I collected my vehicle, I noticed what appeared to be a black, grease-like substance on the exterior door handle that was not present when I dropped it off. I also discovered that the front emblem was no longer attached to my vehicle. When I inquired about this inside the shop, staff located the emblem and handed it to me and told me it fell off when they closed the hood. I check my fluids every month, this has never happened to me. There was no offer to repair the damage.

Bryan always remembered us and went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. I trust this crew immensely to provide honest and ethical service and repairs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local and reliable shop! I moved away last summer and miss this place. It was nice having a place you can trust to take your vehicles to!

I used to enjoy this location and was pleasantly surprised by how little maintenance we needed…read more They were honest, informative, and trustworthy. I highly recommended them to many people. Ever since the new manager, Kevin, took over a few years ago, our trust has plummeted. I can see from others' reviews that I'm not the only one, because they used to be rated much more positively. They had the highest rating of any other auto repair shop in the area. Nowadays, whenever we bring our car in, it's as if they're on the hunt for expensive repairs to meet quotas for specific fixes. The repairs are performed with inflated labor hours and parts sometimes marked up by at least 150% above retail. Their labor times regularly run more than twice as long as usual, according to multiple credible sources online. And, that's not all, we've been told we need repairs to recently repaired items that should last many years. We were told we must have new struts in 2019... in 2020... in 2022... and, again today, Kevin insisted on new struts! Magically, the most expensive repairs seem to appear again and again! "This one part is broken," but we need to replace the others, too. The struts are 'lifetime' warranted, yet lo and behold, the labor is hundreds of dollars! This location isn't what it used to be. The only reason to go is for Brian. He's a nice guy, but it's been a long time since we trusted this shop. Goodbye, Kevin et al, your dishonesty and incompetence will no longer be tolerated. Of course, a representative from corporate communications or marketing may surface to respond and reassure me that they care and that these practices are unusual. Boilerplate expressions of concern do not negate the reality of what previously loyal customers are experiencing firsthand.

Excellent service. Very professional and courteous…read more I was told how much my job would cost up front and how much time would be needed to get job done. I will continue visiting Franklynn in the future and forget about taking my Jaguar to the dealership for work.( too expensive) . Thanks everyone at Franklynn automotive.

Went here to get suspension work done on my Tesla. Overall the vibe was friendly and the mechanic…read morethey had look at my car seemed to be top notch. He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.
