From the moment I met him until the end of my visit he was thoroughly attentive to explaining everything about my car from what was wrong, what was right and even sharing that there was a recall on my BMW. Schomp BMW hasn't always been known for its customer service, sometimes not acknowledging the customer there but Nick made me feel like my being there was just as important as his job. I went in with my mom who barely speaks english to help translate for her, she needed and oil change. The second we walked in, not one, but TWO of the workers looked at us and immediately walked away; one even snickered. After 2 hours, we were finally able to get someone to help us. It was a white male, dark full hair, dark eyes. The first think he asked me was if I was "there to translate for my FOB mother". Immediately, I asked him to repeat himself because I genuinely could not believe that was the first thing he chose to say to a customer. It somehow got worse from there. He proceeded to ask my mom if she "even knew how to drive the car" and then asked me if she had "won it in some kind of immigrant raffle." When I told him that his comments were completely inappropriate, he apparently decided the best way to handle the situation was to start explaining BMWs to us like neither of us had ever seen a car before. He pointed at the steering wheel and asked my mom if she knew what it was for. We were there for an OIL CHANGE. At one point, another employee walked over, looked at my mom, looked at me, and asked if we were "sure we could afford the service." My mom literally pulled out her BMW key and put it on the counter. He stared at it for a few seconds and then asked if it was "a rental." The most bizarre part was when they somehow managed to lose the car while it was being serviced. Yes, the car. They told us they "couldn't locate it" despite having the keys. We waited another 45 minutes while three employees walked around the parking lot looking for a black BMW that was apparently sitting inside their own service department the entire time. When they finally brought it back, the oil change still hadn't been done. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect, condescension, and incompetence at a dealership. We came in for one simple service and somehow left feeling like we had been interrogated, insulted, and taken on a scavenger hunt for our own car. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Actually had to get manager involved, had to change service writers because the one I generally use or assigned to was just plain rude and incompetent. BMW dealership is supposed to be the experts! Far from it. The constantly try to recommend expensive services which the car doesn't even need! Tell me I have oil leaks, yet this is not true. Have looked closely at it myself, have had another shop look at this, and no leaks. Every time I go in, the want nearly $10,000 in services that don't need to be done! Most recently, my wife was looking for a newer vehicle and found a 2023 X1. Our sales rep Tito was very helpful and couldn't have made the buying experience better, he even bought our kids Culver's. I had an overpayment issue with our trade in and spoke with Ben, who added the payment info to our account. We should receive a refund within a few weeks. DO NOT USE SCHOMP BMW FOR SALES OR FOR SERVICE. I bought a BMW from them 1/2026 . Their sales people ARE NOT ethical and DO NOT know what they are talking about when they sell a warranty. I had multiple conversations with multiple people that work there before using my warranty. I was told that my warranty was not about how much money the cost repairs were but about the months and then I can cancel my warranty at any time and will be reimbursed for the amount of months that I did not use. I used it once for a service that they said that I needed.(which I don't even believe that I did) and since I did that ultimately when I went to go cancel my warranty the amount that was used for the repairs counted against my warranty, and it was exactly opposite of what they had told me, even though I verified with multiple people before I had the work done. Ally, the manager that I originally dealt with texted me to tell me the bottom line and when I asked her to call me, I never heard back from her EVER. Scott Davis, another manager that I spoke with, basically told me that I didn't "read my contract". When people are buying a car, they sign on the dot line. I asked my sales person what the process was if I wanted to cancel my warranty; before I use my warranty, I then used another sales person. Jeff who's worked there for 24 years. I also spoke with a service repair manager Brian before getting my repairs done in regards to my warranty. All three of these people told me that although I was getting a repair worth $4000 that that $4000 would not go towards my warranty and my warranty is based on the amount of months that I used it. When I told Scott Davis, how unethical they are and that their own people are selling something and recommending services without knowledge of what the bottom line is, his only answer is is that I did not read my contract. Two years out from buying my SUV from Schomp, I shopped on Truecar with two X5 parameters and there was one car in the country for me. Michael secured the dream machine, worked through my many questions and I have to say I am very happy with the sales experience and very satisfied with my Bavarian Motor Works, again. My first new one was a 650 '76 with horizontally opposed engines for $2300 retail. It is beautifully engineered on several levels including design. I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this dealership. I brought my car in for an oil change/service and left with a whole new bag of problems. My sunglasses were missing. A new ding appeared in my driver side door. And to top it off, my oil level remained at the minimum amount. When I brought this up to the mechanic I was met with scoffing and cursing. After asking for a manager(Emily) or higher up he said word for word "fuck off". Really, I've worked in some pretty shitty places and never told anyone to fuck off. Went there for a test drive with Micah. Great guy, patient not pushy. Knows his stuff well and keeps it simple and honest. I'd buy a car from them if they have the right miles and price in their inventory. Followup has been great from their front desk as well. The only point to note here is they sometimes are not great with the handoff especially if the assigned person is with another client. I was asked by the original person assigned to walk to the car myself and open it up and check out the interiors, instead of him guiding me through their parking lot to locate the car. I bought this car which had problems. i have purchased three cars from them and had numerous problems - BMW app did not work which they said take it home and try it, headlights were aimed down so low that I had to drive with high beams on, spilled antifreeze in the fuel injectors and would not repair it. I had to have it towed to another dealer to replace injector #7 due to a failure, had to wait for a new module for the BMW app, the spilled antifreeze caused injector 8 to fail as well. They refused to acknowledge any issues with their service and by the way - I live 550 miles away so "taking it home and try it" causes another whole issue of bringing the car back! They refused to take care of or acknowledge any of it! Precertified vehicle does not mean they actually looked at it! Buyer beware! read more

I have dealt with Schomp dealerships for about 20 years and 14 cars. This was my first with BMW. Here are some things I love about Schomp, in general and the BMW dealership specifically. 1. They don't hound you with too many calls, emails, and texts. They do stay in touch as long as you are searching but stop when you are out of the market. 2. Maybe most important, the numbers they quote you with whatever you choose to add end up being the numbers you see on your contract. I use auto loan calculators and other aids and the numbers always match. I get no surprises sitting at the finish line. 3. They often have the best prices and offer fair to above trade average trades based on what I get from others. In fact, in this purchase I had come in a month early during their Children's Hospital sale and they ballparked two Hondas I had leased. I came in a month later for the Labor Day sale and the actual was $3k HIGHER. 4. They always make sure you get all the discounts and incentives going over each possibility. 5. They are pleasant to work with no matter what dealership and particularly at BMW. I had one of the most cheerful salesmen I can remember. In this deal I got an X5 that had been on the lot awhile, it was beautiful but had an off road package a lot of people would pass on (the air suspension is worth the price alone). With good trade values, fantastic discounts and incentives it was an amazing deal and everyone seemed genuinely excited for me. Delt with Jeff and Ally who were not willing to let my wife and I test drive a used vehicle because another salesperson had a client "on their way" to also test drive. The other party was late for the appointment causing Jeff and Ally to stall as long as they could even though Jeff had keys in hand. Asked if the other customer had placed a deposit or something that would explain the hesitancy on letting us drive it we were told they did not. I've never delt with such a passive salesperson and "manager" who simply couldn't give us a good answer as to why we were forced to wait on someone else who had no skin in the game other than an appointment they ended up being 1 hour late to. This was a giant waste of time with complete incompetency. If you want to feel overlooked, confused and sales/management not being straightforward with you then this is you place for you but I will never give them my business! If you're looking for a BMW I highly recommend Loveland BMW as they bent over backwards that same day to help us find a vehicle and even drove, it to our home that was an hour away. read more

Only go here for service if you have money to burn. They will try and upsell you on everything. Even things that aren't needed. The representative was rude and dismissive . I had just had my car checked out somewhere else and everything came back great except for a pump that needed replacing and it was covered under warranty. Of course Schomp says I have a million problems with my car and I need to pay $200 just to diagnose what those problems are. I had them fix the pump issue and took it back to my regular place just to be sure everything looked good. Of course it came back saying my car is in good shape and nothing else is needed. read more

Just had my oil changed here. Brought in a coupon and they refused to used it, even though it came from them. They state they give you a free car wash and vacuum as a part of the services, neither of those things happened. For the price you pay for an oil change ($120), these things should happen. I found the vehicle online, and got in contact with the dealership. My initial experience when going in was good (test drive, communication, etc.). There was a repair that needed to be done to the car before I could purchase it, and that's where the communication stopped. No updates, no information, no responses via call/text. I brought my X3 in for a scheduled oil change. I picked it up the next day, parked it in my garage. I didn't drive it for 3 days. When I backed it out there was a huge oil stain on my garage floor. I was not able to drive it until I could get it back to the dealer on Monday. I brought it in and worked with Brett who I had when I first brought it in. February 3rd- February 24th Ralph Schomp had my brand new X5 for a paint repair and a noise when it was cold. The shop foreman was caught driving my car when it was 71 degrees outside to go pick up Mexican food to see if they could find the "Noise" that I had while it was cold. They have swept it under the rug, didn't give any resolution and didn't prove that they held the shop foreman accountable. Stay away and watch out! I have video proof of him going into the restaurant to get food and being in my car for 42 minutes! Go to BMW Downtown. Incredibly nice but woefully incompetent service department. Three times in a row of poor service and I'm over it. First maintenance: should be done by 3:30. I'm sitting in the lobby until 5:00 and still no call even after texting. They wanted to charge for warranty/ first year service. New windshield: oh, we didn't know you wanted it calibrated so you don't get headaches by staring at a double vision blurry HUD. What? Charged for an extra day on my loaner and gasoline. But I returned it the day before they claim on the receipt with a full tank of gas. They claimed I drove 368 miles. Sounds like their staff was joy riding and then charged the customer. read more

Just bought new tires at Schomp BMW, saving money over Discount. Thank goodness for the road hazard warranty (included at Schomp BMW). Two weeks later, something in the road punctured a tire. Without the warranty, it would have cost over $500 for the one replacement tire. It makes a difference on who you get in service.
