We WERE customers for the past 5 years bringing multiple vehicles in. Not anymore!! Forget our last experience where a day after a service they performed we noticed a leak from under our vehicle to being told not their issue and to get it diagnosed we'd have to pay to have some new service performed. Ok, maybe on the 7 mile drive home we hit something that caused a leak and it's our fault, sure that happens right? ok.. well onto today's experience. We had an appointment at 9am for a routine "A" (glorified oil change and basic maintenance) service. Six hours go by with no call with any info in regards to when the vehicle would be completed until we called at 3:30 and left a message. Then coincidentally a few minutes later we received a call back and text with an invoice that was showing incomplete and a list of a few recommended repairs. Basically showing other than a walk around they hadn't started on the vehicle. Talked with Fabian and confirmed to go ahead with the repairs. However was never discussed that the vehicle would be kept overnight with no warning prior to them closing. We called first thing in the morning. Spoke to Al and talked about what needed to be repaired and was told that he'd have someone on it by noon. Excuse me, but we dropped the vehicle off the day prior for a set appointment at 9am. Now being told they would start it around noon the following day. To then being called at almost 2pm that 3 of the 6 items needed weren't available and that we're now waiting on parts and "we were at the mercy of the parts guy." Mind you these were parts we agreed to on Wednesday late afternoon, why not ordered then?! After speaking with Al I was told he'd let me know by near end of day if it was completed. Did I receive a phone call, Nope! Called first thing the following morning. Spoke to Fabian again. Was told the vehicle would be ready by 9:30am, got there and it wasn't! And to top it all off when the vehicle was finally brought out front for me to leave. The inside was a mess. The battery cover above the passenger seat wasn't on, the passenger seat was as far forward as it could go, plastic pieces scattered in the back and a section in the hatchback area was left open! Like I said 5 years of being a loyal customer. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend bringing your vehicle here.

They refuse to work on my 2005 SLK AMG Kompressor They were not even familiar with a button under the gas pedal. And the phone receptionist referred herself as the manager when I asked for one.

Tire, brake disc, rotor

Horrible quality and customer service. They used uncoated brake discs / rotors on front that have totally rusted and look horrible 6 months later. When I contacted them, I was told they prefer to use coated ones but "they must not have been available" and there was nothing they would do about it now. Do NOT use them

I won't let anyone else work on my vehicle. I bought my BMW in because my battery was failing and I needed an oil change. From the time I walked through the door I felt extraordinarily comfortable with the staff. It's hard to find a car shop that is trustworthy, let alone one with the expertise to work on German automobiles. This is that shop. I thought I would be paying for a battery and battery cable. After checking my car, the mechanics determined that I did not need a new cable (with it's computerized charging system), so my bill was half of what I was prepared to pay. They also let me know my brake pads need to be replaced in a month or so (yay, communication). My car runs fantastically and I intend to keep it that way, so I will be back for all services. I know Alan and the crew will take good care of my baby, they have over a 30 year history of doing the same for their customers. If you have a German Automobile, are looking for a competent and trustworthy shop, and are tired of paying dealership prices, stop here.

On March 4, 2026, I drove my 2007 RAV4 to Sal's Auto Tech for a simple battery and alternator replacement. My car is my lifeline and income source, and at the time, my temporary home. I called the shop that morning; Audrey was friendly but told me I'd need to bring the car in for an estimate. I arrived around 10 AM, waited an hour in the office, then the mechanic took me to the shop -- my car was already lifted on the hoist. Instead of focusing on my simple request, the mechanic spent hours inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, and the underside, ignoring me repeatedly. I eventually asked about the price for the battery and alternator. The mechanic acted offended, and another employee quoted $1,700. and they installed them, but during the process broke my radiator. Then I was told a piece of my radiator had been broken by their mechanic. They said it could be fixed the next morning. I asked if I could stay in the parking lot safely overnight -- they refused. When I requested my property back, they called the police and had me trespassed. I was humiliated, scared, and forced to drive 7 miles to a Walmart parking lot to sleep safely. The next morning, I towed my car back to the shop ($190). I met with Sal, gave him the broken radiator piece, and he was rude, dismissive, and baffled that their mechanics had broken it. He told me I was trespassed and could not stay near the property. Even after two days, the radiator was still not properly repaired -- just topped off. On March 6, they sent me a handwritten note falsely blaming me for radiator damage. The accusations were completely false and misleading, adding stress on top of an already humiliating situation. I drove 10 miles to Denver, and the temperature gauge went immediately red. I went straight to Jiffy Lube, where within five minutes, they discovered the lower radiator hose had never been connected, spilling coolant everywhere. They fixed it promptly, refilled the radiator, and confirmed my car was safe. During this entire ordeal, I lost income every day, was ignored, dismissed, and gaslit, and experienced fear and humiliation from being trespassed and blamed. The shop clearly took their time because they knew I couldn't confront them on-site, and their attitude made it clear they found my distress amusing. My experience was not just bad service -- it was emotionally traumafinancially damaging, and completely unprofessional. If you rely on your car for work, safety, or even basic transportation, do not go to Sal's Auto Tech. They broke my property, refused to take responsibility, involved the police unnecessarily, and left me stranded. I cannot overstate the stress, fear, and frustration I endured. Honest, competent mechanics at Jiffy Lube resolved the issue in minutes -- something Sal's could have done immediately. Avoid this shop entirely.

The "bad" ...they took 5 bolts out of my timing cover to pull back and test fuel pressure at the fuel rail and left 5 out of 6 of the bolts out. Fortunately, it isn't really critical oversight. When I asked them about it, they blew me off. I just wanted my bolts back. I wasn't mad about it. The :"could do better" - Communication - took two attempts to get them to call me back with an appt. ..and the missing bolts... call a guy back. They would have gotten a 5 star rating... I would consider using them again.

After my daughter taking her car in for an oil change, they called her to say she needed multiple thousands of dollars of work - ok. She ask them to wait far a few minutes till she Spoke with me. within 15mins we chatted and listed what they recommended. I calls them back and talks to Tim (Nice guy), and said we would not be doing anything but the oil change for now. Later my daughter picked up her car and the bill was 530$~!! i found out later in the day and called to see why it was so high for an oil change (albeit full synthetic). They said they were performing a "special service" that was recommended and that I included a list of things not asked for and I'm my conversation with Tim - not mentioned. I expressly requested an oil change only for the time being, till we'd had time to explore what she would elect to do maybe sooner or later. The issue is this, they didn't communicate to me in the phone call, what all they would be doing (other than the oil change). They then do what i can only assume is taking advantage of a young woman's naivety (?) and do what I'd consider stuffing the bill to up the list of work. Needless to say, their practice in this matter is very unfortunate - and after so many years of good service I will no longer be using their services. Buyer beware.

This company's work reflects its values…read more An inspection revealed we had several major repairs needed on an old, old vehicle. They allowed us time to decide if it was worth fixing and were creative about getting the costs to something more affordable but ultimately I agreed to have all but one item fixed. Their willingness to work with me on it really sealed the deal. I never felt pressured one way or the other and researched the prices of each repair item and they were market value. I really appreciated that I wasn't given grief for wanting to fix this old beauty instead of calling it quits and also appreciated their confidence in doing this amount of work to make it like new. Most importantly, the repairs were done right without gimmick and they're under warranty! This Christian Brothers Automotive is thorough and the final cost was reasonable compared to the quote (slight increase from what looks like parts being a tad more than anticipated). The initial inspection was awesome too, they have pictures for everything and tell you what's good, not just bad. The whole process was really smooth and simple compared to how big of a decision the repairs really were. Very professional and quick. I'm very thankful and will come back/recommend to others.
