Mind you I am on a CanAm Spyder but the front end is just a car suspension. Super simple. These guys were able to do the balancing for me. They like all shops that do just cars are hesitant to touch these but they are so simple. Fortunately, they didn't turn me away and said "we'll get it done" and they did. Fantastic customer service and very reasonable price. Now all you CanAm folks don't come flooding them for wheel balances in Sparks as this was a special situation and I greatly appreciate their help while passing through in Sparks. If you need any tire or wheel work for your vehicles (the 4 legged kind) their racks were full and they squeezed me into their full schedule. Thank you all for the great support! 5 stars for customer service and a great job at a reasonable price!

I've been taking my truck here for roughly 14 years- maybe more. Previously I had all my work done…read moreat the dealership or another well known local company until I realized that neither of those places were convenient or 100% honest. So on a coworker's recommendation I wound up here. And now I won't go anywhere else. They have always been honest and fair and since Juan has taken over as manager it's been more of the same for me. Everything is very straightforward and I know what to expect when I drop off my truck. I can assure you- in 14 years I have definitely gotten some calls I don't want to hear but with an older vehicle this is to be expected. And always, even though I may not WANT to replace this or that part, the prices are fair. People tend to write reviews when they're upset and want the world to know they've been screwed. And that's understandable. But often we forget to write reviews when things go well. And that's not fair to places that seem to genuine try to do the right thing. So... I go here. My daughters go here. I tell my coworkers to go here. And I suppose that'll continue for the foreseeable future. One thing I will say... because I've been going here so long I've spent some time in that lobby. And it's worth noting people come in with some absolutely insane requests- I mean, just effing nuts. And when they don't get their way it simply doesn't compute in their brains. And those are often the people who write crappy reviews. And I don't just mean for this place. So keep that in mind.

It's funny how things can work out for the best. Yes I definitely recommend battle born!

I chose to pay a little more so I would be prepared for the snow and get more warranty on my tires. I was able to get a minor alignment, oil change, and my new tires balanced and put on my car within an hour and a half or so that I waited for my car. I cannot recommend Tony and his shop anymore than I do in person to my family, friends and coworkers. If you're looking for an honest mechanic, stop by his shop or give them a call. Thank you Tony for getting me in and out and safely back on the road.

My husband suggested that I check with Reno Vulcanizing to see if they could perform some of the services. I thought that was a great idea so I made an appointment for a brake fluid flush. I took it in this morning and saw Markus. He was very knowledgeable and couldn't have been nicer. He asked me how I knew I needed to have the brake fluid replaced. I told him that the other shop had recommended it. Before I left, he suggested we go check the fluid. He took a sample of it from the engine, said it was the right color, didn't look dirty and told me that based on the mileage since it was last changed, that it didn't need to be replaced today. I appreciate his honesty and his knowledge. He jokingly told me to save my money. Because of his honesty, integrity, knowledge, and excellent customer service skills, I'm certainly going to take all my cars to Reno Vulcanizing for all future services.

Fortunately, I got a referral to an auto repair shop from the place I was staying. The referrer said, he had been bringing his family's cars there for 20 years and the people are honest and I'd be in good hands. Next day AAA brought me to Welge Automotive. It was like going back decades to a better and nicer time. Robert, Jared, Diana, Charlene, and the other people have created a wonderful auto repair shop. As busy as they were they made room for my needs. While I was there I saw they would help anyone who came in. They helped them all; as busy as they were, they helped everyone. It's amazing how they still hold onto the business style of helping another person. Here I was not treated as a customer number or a worksheet order, I was treated as a person in need of help and that they were going to make sure I got the help I needed. The car needed help, our only car. The shop looked at things and gave honest an accurate diagnosis. Their estimates were spot on and the parts delivered quickly. They have a wonderful network of suppliers. They even know of wholesaler and help pass on the savings. Thank you very much!! They even repaired a part for far less than the whole part would have cost. When did you ever go to an auto shop that actually repaired a part and saved you money? It was wonderful. They noticed how filthy the inside engine compartment was and possibly masking other problems. They cleaned the engine for me. They saw it was built up over time and not to worry; just keep an eye on the valve cover area and gasket. No need to immediately have it replaced. They are very good people running an honest and skilled auto shop that take pride in their work and doing an honest days work to help people. I live four hours away, but I will do what other people have done after finding such a wonderful shop. I will schedule a few days vacation during the week, come up, and drop off the car at Welge Auto for an inspection and any needed work. At the end of the vacation I will pick up the car knowing it's all maintained and done so honestly. Thank you everyone for helping us, I don't know what we would have done without you.

After trusting Welge's with our family vehicles (total of 4), paying them a substantial amount in repair costs, and even referring others here, I stopped bringing our vehicles because I am convinced that Welge caused my daughter's vehicle to seize. Prior to bringing my daughter's jeep here, two separate repair shops told me that it needed a new radiator, but I trusted Welge so I had them take a look. Welge told me that it didn't need a new radiator but it did need something else so I had Welge fix it. When I came to pick up the vehicle, Welge himself told me that in addition to fixing it, he also took the vehicle to wash the engine. What for, I don't know, it's not like the engine was particularly dirty and I hadn't asked him to! Within a month, the engine in my daughter's car seized. I brought it back to Welge. Welge himself called me to confirm that the engine had seized and it would cost about $6000 for a new engine. I was flabbergasted and told him I didn't have that kind of money. Welge suggested that I ask my church to help. WHAT kind of messed up advice is that?? His suggestion left me baffled. Needless to say, I never returned and ended up getting rid of the vehicle. No thanks to Welge!
