What is the point of having a 24 hour Call center if they can't help you with anything this is the second day I have been locked out of the Climate controlled building of my storage To puck locks have been put on the doors there's no notice on the office door or the doors of the Climate controlled building and access hours are until 9 PM so why is it that this building is completely locked down at 5 PM? Yesterday I asked for the call center to leave note for a manager and district manager or somebody to give me a call back on why the building is lockdown. I was here by myself at 7 PM eight months pregnant needing to go to the hospital but needed to unload my car And the only thing I was told was that it's a morning issue that they will give me a call in the morning to explain why this building was locked down. I called back today to find out that the building is again lockdown before nine before 6 PM with no explanation and again I was told by the useless call center That all they'll do is leave a note on my account and then I have to be the one to keep calling about why I cannot get into The building where my storage is located. Nowhere in my contract nor in the policy for when I signed up at Storquest, did it ever say the climate control building will be locked down when the office is Closed! I've stored at Storquest many times in the past and never did I ever have to deal with the ridiculousness of this property and the management or lack there of!!! Do better, San Leandro Storquest!!!

This caused a major inconvenience, as I had to leave without resolving the issue due to work. I contacted customer service and spoke with Caitlin, who said Monica would follow up to switch my unit, but I didn't receive a call for over 5 hours. I eventually had to reach out again myself. When Monica finally returned my call, I was told they were trying to waive transfer fees as if the mistake was mine . When in reality, this situation was caused entirely by their errors. Overall, the lack of communication and poor customer service was extremely frustrating. I will be getting a refund and do not wish to continue this rental. So unprofessional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a space here about 4 years ago when it was a newish facility. Decided to no longer rent there…read morefor several reasons: 1) The rent has increased several times so it is more expensive than it's now worth. 2) Before, the place was kept quite clean. Lately the common areas are often filthy with people leaving trash or abandoning items behind. We see the same trash and debris still in the same spot on different visits, so now there's a lack of custodial maintenance. 3) The biggest issue and dealbreaker is that we found mouse droppings and also a dead mouse in a trap in the corridor. We do not store anything edible to attract rodents, so it is coming in from somewhere else and staying for whatever reason. Other issues to be aware of: a) When a lot of people are accessing their units, there may not be any carts available, or all the carts are clustered at one sliding door vs the other. Best if you have your own cart. b) On some visits, we can hear snoring coming from a unit, so someone may be living in their unit. c) The 10x10 space we got is really only 10x9. (Yes, we measured). d) Info in rental agreement does not always match up with what the office staff tell us regarding some process/policies. e) Over the years, have at times encountered either staff or technology-related issues. The bluetooth technology is convenient when it is working smoothly, however can be inconsistent. Frustrating technical issues can happen such as sliding doors and main gate not operating properly.

You heard that right! For an entire week straight the back gate of this facility was open and exposed to the train tracks and thieves came day and day again. The on site PM knew of the gate being open and exposed and did NOTHING FOR DAYS. When I asked why the gate had been broken and un-repaired for so long the admin on site was snarky and short and said "that the fence manaince crew just never came" with no sense of empathy or concern. E.S. Also did not call me regarding my unit being broken into nor sent out any PSA EMAILS. This allowed theft to continue occur for a very long time to myself and others **REPEATEDLY** for days with out notice. I was only here for 14 days before my unit was broken into. I have not received any money back for my lost items nor compensation, or an explanation. AVOID THIS FACILITY, as others I spoke to on the property also shared that their units have been broken into as well despite being a part of the interior tower. Thieves will do what ever they need to do to get in and coincidently enough the PM team "never seems to have any cameras pointed in the direction of where looters entered in from". THIS PLACE IS VERY VERY CORRUPT AND UNSAFE

On June 16 when I went to pick them up, we discovered that the catalytic converters had been stolen from my 2024 Toyota 4Runner. When I reported it to the office, they told me they would call me back to follow up, but they never did! So I went back to inquire, and they told me they couldn't help me at all. I definitely do not recommend this place; the service is terrible, and there is no security.

I should have listened to my gut…read more While my property was in a gated area and I assumed there some sort of security that patrols the property. Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores.
