i was "accidenly" stabbed with a nail tool when i did not add on a service, and she also filed my nails with a block pulling my nails up hurting me. im a retired fosomotologist im aware the tools are not cleaned after each use, tool should be soaking in blue water nail files are single use items not here aparently. and yes they were super duper nice about it all ytying to cover up bad service. health risk is not worth pretty nails. read more

The lady doing my nails literally was looking everywhere else but at my nails. She began filing them into uneven squares which I don't like. She didn't ask me what shape I wanted and when I told her I wanted rounded she HANDED ME THE TOOL AND SAID "you do then." it was so rude and weird. She kept offering me stuff to add onto my mani and pedi and when I would decline she would literally roll her eyes and huff and puff. You know the feeling you get when you walk in and everyone just stares at you???? That's this place. Sure, my nails came out fine but it was an overall awkward experience. The service is very blunt. There were several times I was offered something, like a foot scrub, and then told it was $5 extra. When I declined there was an odd stare and moment of silence. AWKWARD! When I paid with an ATM I was told it "was not nice." I know they were joking but....it was odd! There isn't anything particularly special about this place that would keep me coming back. THE WORST place I have ever been to in my life. If I had taken a rusty hacksaw to my nails I might have been happier. Have no idea the lady (aka the Hacker) that did my nails but she barely talked to me. The Hacker kept putting on/taking off her glasses like she couldn't see detail so I'm afraid I let a semi-blind person do my nails which is really the only excuse for the shitty job that was done. Anyway of the 10 nails I've got, The Hacker left 4 of them bloody, she kept 'slapping' my hands as she was done filing even after I told her she was cutting me. Finally I must have looked beyond pissed bc she started asking me about my kids, was it my first time there etc - up to then I wasn't sure if she spoke english. I showed her a photo of the design I wanted and she said "YES YES" yea that was a big fat lie. She tried to give me squared edge when I explicitly told her talon, she CUT my cuticles then put acetone on them and kept going "shh shh" when I told her they were burning like a mother. Then The Hacker doesn't have the glitter needed to do my design and tries to use a totally off color and I told her no, that wasn't the design, she says "It looks better" WTH? Like I give a crap what SHE thinks looks better?! I am the one who has to walk around with them! She kept pushing that stupid gel crap on me and then after 2 HOURS (for a freakin full set-outrageous!) she dumped me under the dryer and painted another lady who worked there's toenails. After 10 mins I got up and went to the counter and had to ASK to get taken care of. There were only 2 customers aside from me and 4 ladies (aside from the Hacker) working. FINALLY she decides to come deal with her customer (Me) and she says "Ok I charge you for nails $20 and design $5 and Diamonds $4 and $5 FOR THE CUTICLE CUT" and right there I knew she was a delusional maniac. I let her know that there was no way on this earth or heaven or the burning pits of hell I was going to pay for that awful, painful, burning she called a cuticle cut. She says to me: "OK I just charge $2 for the cuticle cut" WTF????? So I said LOUDER (since she obviously didn't understand the words coming out of my mouth) that I was not going to pay ONE RED PENNY for that hack job. She said ok after that. If you hate someone but don't want them to die (Karma sucks, I know) buy them a gift card to this hellhole for a full set w cuticle cut. read more

Visited the nail Salon multiple times and always had an okay experience. Last time I visited was enough to know I will no longer be doing my nails there. The lady who did my pedicure cut me so many times, almost in every toe and constantly kept judging my feet. No offense but I don't want to hear that if that's what I'm paying her to do. Also idk why everyone is always so nosey. What I thought was discussing was when she cleaned a nail polish with a cotton that was used on me. When I found out the same nail technician was also going to give me a manicure I asked the owner for someone else which he did. She tried to argue saying that it hurt because I had ingrowns (you can see in the picture that the cuts are on the tops of my toes). He tried fixing the situation by offering to remove the nail color, removing it off of my bill which was nice. I don't like to take advantage when they overcompensate but I do feel like in this case I shouldn't have paid, my toes are all cut up and don't look cute. It also scary to think that I might get an infection with their level of sanitation. read more

They do a great job, take their time and do awesome for pedicures, (i only come here for my pedicures) I got a Gel manicure once here but I did not like how It came out, had lots of bubbles. The only downside is that they are particularly busy, and there is on average a 30 minute wait for a pedicure however like I said, they do a great job, pay attention to detail when they groom. They have the best prices but the owner I'm not a fan of. He is never honest with how long it will take. Whenever you come in he asks what you need and he says take a seat and we will be right with you...usually it's about 20 mins later and you may be helped. I came one time and asked for a fill and pedicure. He has me sit in the pedicure chair, wait 15 mins, they do my pedicure. Once it's done they stick me under the dryer. I wait about 30 mins and ask how much longer till my fill. He says about 30 mins. Are you kidding me?! I don't have 3 hours for my nails. I literally wasted 2 hours and still hadn't got my fill. Well I totally love this place, I used to go to paradise nails by the 60 fwy on Mountain and that place was TERRIBLE!!! but at SAVVY nails I love it that is nice and clean and the lights are lovely when its dark. Walked in on a Monday afternoon around 3:30pm for a pedicure and to have my daughters hands and feet painted. Was quickly welcomed and sat. Wasn't busy at all which worried me. The woman (I wish I would have caught her name, very short hair, dark haired, older woman) started on my feet. Did a wonderful massage and wrapped my legs in hot towels...so nice!!! I had two broken toenails which she fixed with acrylic to look nice since I wanted a french. She really took her time and did a beautiful job!!! I love them!!! Im really picky and don't like to get my nails done because I'm rarely satisfied. My daughter's nails came out beautiful too! I thought they would only be painting them, but she also got flower designs! Will definitely come back in the future! Also, a little after 4 it did start to get busy and before I left all the nail technicians were busy and had a couple customers waiting. Oh! And I love that they use disposable liners for the pedicures!!! So sanitary!!! Anyway, I highly recommend! read more

They are terrible if your not spending hella tip money or getting unnecessary add ons. But that is typically with these nail shops. They have to much competition between each other that's why it's a hit or miss when looking for a shop. The trick is that the owner aka manager seems to have it together however she does want or like to do simple work like "mani pedi" because it doesn't require much of a tip. These shops are high as is. Why do you need a tip TOO? The techs deserve more hourly pay period from the owner. It's a low key sweat shop. SAD. Just do your own! Or just pay a high price at a high in place where it is to be expected and your respected. "The lady call me picky" My money my choice. read more

I've been coming to this nail shop on and off for the past 6 years because I had moved away. Today was the first time I returned to get my hand nails done and it was the worst mistake ever!!! I used to love coming here until today. I'm not sure what her name is but her nail desk is all the way on the left right next to the restroom. She absolutely did the worst nail job I have ever experienced! She was very rude to me, she seemed like she did not want to be there, and like she hated her job. The first picture is what my nail looked like when I left the nail salon, it was so crooked and when I went back in there like 4 minutes after leaving she got upset that I had asked her to fix it. It wasn't just my thumb, there was like 4 other nails that were just as crooked. She yelled at me and told me "I don't see the problem" and asked me how I wanted them filed. I told her "you're the professional, you should see the problem and you sure be able to fix it." She then got more upset and asked me why I was mad. I let her know that it was not fair that I paid for my nails to get done and got such a horrible and poor outcome on them. The second picture is her way of "fixing" my thumb and as you can see it still looks very horrible. In the last picture you can see all the dents on my nails, those dents are on more than half my nails ( they were gel btw) . This is very ridiculous!!!!!! This is the worst job and customer service I have ever experienced and I am very sure I will not be coming back!! Also, before all this when it was time to pay, she threw me the receipt and gave me the worst look ever. I am very disappointed because this was my favorite nail shop for so long which is why I came back. If the owner can contact me that would be amazing because when I asked her to speak to a manager , she said no one was there.
