Never again. Went in for a fill - first time here... asked specifically to keep my current shape. I don't understand how somebody can royally screw up a fill. She filed them so sharp (I had almond) They looked like critter teeth. They were not even, super thick, and very, very lumpy. I look like I have chewed gum slapped on my fingernails. It cost me more to come to here because now I have to pay another place to either fix them or completely take them off. The staff was kind but not worth me coming here ever again. Kim was the tech. I totally loved this salon the moment I walked in. I'd passed by it a bunch of times and always thought it looked super inviting, so I finally decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in, a really friendly woman, Melissa I believe, greeted me, but I wasn't sure if she was the owner or the manager. I didn't have an appointment, but they got me seated right away. I got a gel manicure and a classic pedicure, and they made sure my nails and feet looked amazing when I left. I think I've found my new go-to nail salon! read more

To be honest, this place is not worth paying $110 for removal, gel manicure, and pedicure. The same night I got home, one of my toenail gels came off. How? I paid for a gel service but got regular polish! Then it started chipping within a week. One of the technicians even cut my skin and made it bleed, and he just looked at me without saying anything. The girl at the front desk had a great attitude, but she cut my nails too short, left the edges sharp, and didn't know how to fix them, so she asked someone else to take over. I personally don't think this is a professional nail salon. Sorry for the negative feedback, but the salon really needs to retrain its staff. read more

Been coming here for years & have always loved it. They recently went under new ownership & it's better than ever. So many new colors & adds on to choose from. Most importantly they offer gel x (prior to the new owner they did not) Tammy always takes care of me & is so talented, especially with designs. Her work is always amazing - I show her what I want & she can always replicates so well. Pedicures by both Natalie & Lily are always great. You can tell they both genuinely care about the quailing of their work, including the massage lol I also get my lashes done there. Rose has been in the industry for years so she's definitely an expert. She always gives me exactly what I want & is quick. She's always so sweet & will make you feel very comfortable during the entire appointment It's generally pretty quiet & calm, that's what I enjoy most. Came in the other day for a self-care day. Customer service here is amazing and the staff are always very friendly and attentive. David did my gel x full set and I'm in love. I asked for something classy and simple and he delivered. Amy did my gel pedi. I am very meticulous with my pedis, but Amy did such a great job. Her massages are a plus. Will be coming back and requesting them again for my services. I usually come to Rose for my lash extensions and she always has me leaving totally feeling myself! The vibes are great. I called And made an appt for 510pm on a Monday. Only two people were there when I arrived. I also plan on getting callus removed as well, so my gel pedicure is looking well over $50+. Wow. I also had to put some acrylic on my big toenail because I had smashed my toe and it had lifted so my total with tip came out to $60. I use my card and I had asked him if I could write in a tip and he said yes. But when I gave them my car and he said how much are you going to Tip? I told him l will write it in. he said no you have to tell me now. I didn't care for that. My pedicure was good but man I can't believe they charge for every little tiny thing. She even asked if I wanted a massage scrub and I'm like no because you're going to charge extra everything is extra. Am my other spot they have combos where everything is included and you pick a price but everything is separate here and I didn't like that. Not the usual zen experience today Heads up, their prices were raised since my last visit in January, pedicure went up to $29 plus the $1 card use fee (only had enough cash for the old price). While it was none of the salons doing, I have to be honest, a group of 3 women walked in with 5 little girls, sounds sweet right?! The women were so loud I'm sure they could be heard outside while the little girls followed salon etiquette perfectly. Maybe I've been wrong all this time about common courtesy but it should be a calm quiet experience and it definitely was not...from the women (again not the salons fault but ) and the fine print on the price sheet one to of the fee. Yes! I have been using their services for about a year now and they are one of a kind. I truly mean it. Not only is their customer service always on point but their techniques all focus on actually caring and saving the integrity of your nails. They don't even use the drill to remove your gel. They gently buff it out so your nails don't get damaged. You never see that! Most places don't care about protecting your nails, they only care about how quickly they can put another client in their chairs. The vibe has always been consistent. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Not once have I ever felt like "they're talking behind my back in their native language". I even forgot my wallet there once and my favorite nail tech made sure to store it safely for me till the next day. I never felt mistrust. Not my normal nail tech but since I'm traveling I decided to give it a try. Ladies were super nice, however the setup was super unprofessional. She did my nails on a desk just on top of a rag, and when I walked in the workers were just lounging in the pedicure chairs eating and watching shows. She didnt even prep my nail before adding the nail tip and acrylic. The acrylic was flooded into my cuticles and left super chunky. I asked for a simple French tip but the lady didn't understand. She just did a straight line halfway down my nail and when I asked to make it more curved (twice) it still looked horrible. Design was very inconsistent and not at all what I wanted, and still left having to pay $65 for chunky nails that look like I did them myself. read more

I want to start this off that I'm not someone who leaves reviews very often. I came into this place because my normal place couldn't get me in. I will say the staff is extremely friendly. However, they filled my gel x after it had lifted and assured me it was fine even though my normal place doesn't fill. I had them redone and when they took off the gel x there was a green fungus on a few of my nails. And even without freaking fungus on my nails, it was the worst my nails have ever looked. The shape of each nail was different, the polish job was awful, chipped nails within 5 days. With how good of reviews they have, I did not expect to have this experience. read more

This place formally known as college park nails has downgraded in service. i came asking for a simple white gel manicure because i usually prefer short nails and don't ever get long nails, but the lady insisted on me trying gel x to add a little bit of tip on my nail. I agreed because i thought it would be a natural length added to my nail but as the process started i noticed it was not looking too good. the glue was all messing and ended up looking extra thick on my nails. when she trimmed and filed the nails it was not the shape i had asked for and she kept filing at a crocked length. i brought it to her attention and she said it was just me seeing it that way and when i kept insisting i didn't like the shape she gave me the file and said "you want to file yourself?" im sorry but if im going to a nail salon to get my nails done is for the service to be done by them not me. moving forward she painted my nails super messy and didn't even try to make them look nice. by the end of the service i told her i didn't like it and she said "well next time you know not to do gelx" i told the receptionist there is no way you guys let your customers leave like this. i told her i didn't like the service but they still made me pay.. i paid to not make it a big deal but i couldn't stand how they looked. i asked her to just remove the nails and the owner came out asking what happened. i explained her the situation and she said they weren't that bad.. okay so you'll let your customers leave with nails like this? super unprofessional, if your customer doesn't like a service it shouldn't be an argument. i ended up leaving disappointed with no nails but still having to pay for the service... un real. Will be telling all my friends and family in the area to avoid this place. read more

I'm impressed! this is my 1st visit here. When I walked in I like that they knowledge you and are super friendly. I'm OCD I notice every details (I know it's horrible). This location is very clean and sanitary. I came in for a fill, halfway through I asked if I could get a pedicure. Lily did an awesome on the pedicure. I must say my feet are baby soft!
