First visit: I requested a basic manicure and pedicure, but the technician put gel polish on my toes without my asking for it. Later, when I decided to get acrylic nails again, thankfully, I went somewhere else, even though it was out of my way. Second visit: One of my nails started peeling, and I had to use clear nail polish just to keep it in place. Third visit: What an absolute joke! The female technician was on her phone the entire time she was doing my nails and facial waxing. The waxing job was so poorly done that I had to come home and redo it myself! I also had to remind her of several things she was supposed to be doing. What bothers me even more is that I actually tipped her! Looking back, I wish I had spoken up right then and there. The constant phone use isn't limited to one technician. The staff seems more interested in their phones than providing quality service to paying customers. Three visits, three disappointments. I'm DONE! Even if I'm in a hurry, I will never step foot in this salon again. I would rather drive out of my way to the suburbs than waste another dollar here. When I walked up to the building I could see that it was an older establishment without all the bells and whistles that I'm used to when getting a Mani/Pedi but it was close by so I gave it a try. I walked in with no appointment at 12:40pm on a Friday afternoon and was seated immediately. They offer 3 options for a pedicure service: a basic ($30), a spa ($38), and a deluxe ($48). I chose the deluxe because I really wanted that relaxing, spa like feel which almost puts you to sleep that I usually receive when I'm getting my feet done. Unfortunately I didn't get that experience this time. Everything just felt rushed and incomplete. The entire process, from the moment I walked through the door up to the moment I sat down to let my polish dry took a little less than 30 minutes. A deluxe pedicure which was supposed to include a sea salt foot soak, nail polish removal, nail trim/cut, a cuticle trim, a heel scrub, mud mask, sugar scrub, foot massage, leg massage, hot towels, and polish application with top coat afterwards should've lasted more than a mere 30 minutes. Now for someone who's in a rush to get in and get out that's great, but I came to really relax and receive a thorough pedicure. Cash payments are encouraged. If you don't have cash, there is a $2 processing fee when you pay with a credit card but they do accept cash app, venmo, and zelle. Hours are Monday-Saturday 10am to 7pm. Walk-ins welcome.

I returned for a repair and was met with a very disgruntled and annoyed Louis who had done my nails the day before. It seemed as as if he was annoyed I had broken a nail. He told me my nail broke because they were too long and lifting. How could my nails be lifting if I just had a fill-in, not even 24-hours prior? He performed my repair very poorly. The nail he placed was crocked and was VERY thick! It felt it was his attempt to be funny and ensure that it didn't break. I was annoyed. I left. I remembered that I was the customer and I deserved to be happy. I returned I spoke to someone else, showed them the nail, explained I was disappointed and wanted it fixed. They called Louis again. Louis returns and says "The next time you break a nail, I won't be the one to fix it." To which I responded "After today, you never have to do my nails again". We try again. He files and thins out the acrylic. I explain, the nail is glued on crocked and needs to be removed. He proceeds to clip the nail, thin out the acrylic more and attempt to glue a tip on top of the existing acrylic. I was done. I told him, never mind. Explained the situation to the older woman and walked out. I shall never return. I went down the street, paid for a repair. Two days later, another nail broke while I was tying my shoe. After two more days, another nail broke while I closed the car door. I just chuckled. Worse experience ever and I've been getting my nails done for 30 years. ! I shall never return.
