But the salon is incredibly clean, everyone is so kind, and they immediately offer you water, tea, soda, really whatever you need. After my pedicure, I sat at the drying station for a while and went on with my day. That night I realized I had somehow messed up two of my toes (which were incredibly done). I left them a message and they got me back in the very next day to fix them, no charge. Just genuinely kind people and great customer service. Clean, nice, accommodating. I found this extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable. I had provided my phone number because I was calling the business to inquire about their services; I did not expect that number to be used to personally confront me about a Google review. To be clear, my review was about my experience interacting with the business, the information I was given about the service, and my decision not to book based on that information. Customers should be able to provide feedback about their experience communicating with a business, including concerns about pricing and whether a service meets their needs, without being personally called and challenged by the owner. The phone call actually reinforced my decision not to patronize this business. I was already uncomfortable with the pricing and service structure, and being contacted afterward made the experience even more unpleasant. I am sharing this because other potential customers should know what happened when I simply asked questions, expressed my concerns, and decided not to book. I called to ask about the hair spa service because I was interested in booking. The service is $125, and I was told that the "hair dry" included in that price simply consists of sitting under a dryer. If I wanted my hair blow-dried, that would be an additional $60. As a Black woman with textured hair, I honestly don't feel that this is very inclusive. Sitting under a dryer with my hair loose is not going to leave my hair dry, stretched, and manageable. My hair would likely be extremely shrunken and difficult to work with afterward. I would need the blow-dry in order for my hair to actually be in a manageable state. I completely understand charging for additional services, but I don't think it's unreasonable to question a pricing structure where the standard drying method works for some hair types but doesn't provide the same practical result for others. For me, that turns a $125 service into a $185 service simply because of what my hair requires to be properly dried and manageable. I'm not writing this to bash the business or accuse anyone of intentionally discriminating against Black women. I'm sharing my perspective because I think businesses offering hair services should consider whether their services are genuinely accommodating to different hair textures. I was really interested in trying this experience, but an additional $60 just to have my hair properly dried makes me feel like the service isn't designed with women like me in mind.

Upon entering, you start in their little gift shop area - they have tons of really cute things. I was greeted warmly as soon as I came in, and I helped myself to the delicious spa water in the waiting area. My tech came and got me within 10 minutes. I just had a pedicure, but I really enjoy the whole spa vibe. My nail tech was very friendly and did a good job. No spa jets in the pedi bowls; good. I will be a regular and can't wait to try more of their offerings. Customer service is great - the woman who booked me was super friendly and even moved my appointment once with late notice.
