Tried this one twice so far and only for take-out so I can not comment on the service part of the restaurant, however ordering over the phone is always pleasant and food is piping hot when picked up. Everything is really good and I'm so happy that we finally have a great Thai place closer to home. This one and Thai Table in Oceanside are my two favorites in North County. They have the little Thai golden bags appetizers that are super delicious and super cute to look at. They come with a great cucumber relish too. Big bonus points for this offering. I also like the curries, really good. Wish they offered the Massaman with chicken also. Pad-see-eww is really good. Also really liked the Sweet Basil with a nice spice kick. Panang curry is really good. The pineapple fried rice is good too with raisins, yummy. Everything we have tried here so far is really good and decent take-out portions. This restaurant has the best Thai food ever. The restaurant really focuses on quality and detail, and you can really taste the difference. I kid you not, give this place a try. You will be pleasantly surprised by their dedication to serve their very best. We only got three appetizers and a chicken glass noodle soup, but will definitely visit the place again to try more. 3 1/2 stars. We enjoyed our dinner tonight. The staff is attentive and nice. We ordered pad Thai shrimp, yellow curry w chicken and the green beans and chicken in pad prihk sauce. The green bean dish was delicious. Green beans seemed to be flash fried and still retained its crispiness and the sauce had a good kick. My husband liked his yellow curry but must say that it is runny compared to other places. The pad Thai didn't have enough sauce and the noodles were a bit over done. This place has only been open for a little while but it has quickly become a favorite. My husband and I have ordered take out at least 5 times already. My favorite is the Spicy Noodles (their version of Drunken Noodles). It is delicious. I am also a big fan of the Sticky Rice Dessert. I'm kind of obsessed! Give this place a try. First time trying this place. It's clean and nice decor. We went for lunch and it was rather empty, which I don't mind. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was tasty. My husband ordered the jungle stir fry with chicken and he said it was good and not overly spicy. I also had a Thai tea and asked for extra cream because it is usually too strong for my taste. The server made it perfect. The portions are decent, but not huge. You will be full but not stuffed with a lunch entree. Prices were decent about $9 an item on lunch special. The service is excellent obviously since it was rather slow. I'm hoping the business picks up at this place because I would like to keep coming back and trying other items. read more

Stopped in for dinner yo this very nicely done Thai restaurant. The service and food was excellent. We shared their seafood soup that was served in a heated do unit shaped bowl. Huge shrimp, mussels, large mushrooms, and a delicious broth made my tastebuds tingle. The shrimp curry served with brown rice was also quite pleasing, specially for the price. read more

Worst service I've seen in a long time, came in with my two young boys and already the owner looked annoyed and put me and my kids ad far as possible from other tables. When I asked to order to keep my hungry kids from acting like brats, he stated other people had ordered first and made us wait. Don't take your kids there, just don't go there, period. read more

This is the best Thai around. Hands down. We have been here a dozen times and never once have been disappointed or had a bad meal.

It took us awhile to find our favorite Thai restaurant in North County, but we've found it. We have been dining here and getting take out for 2 years now and can't say enough about it. The owners are the sweetest and really take pride in every dish. We've been able to taste many dishes, but our favorites are Tom Kha soup, Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and Prig Khing with Chicken. Very slow service. We got seated and ordered our drinks. The people that got seated 5-10 minutes after us got their drinks before we did. Okay no big deal, we ordered our food before any of the other tables around us. We got our food last, even the people who walked in for take out got their food before us and we were sitting there for a lot longer. Food is pricey for the portion size. Very disappointing, the service took forever, almost 20 minutes for water, another 10 minutes for overpriced and undersized appetizer, in total almost an hour to get our entrees. We were one of two small parties in the restaurant, so there was no excuse for the ridiculous wait times. They did not clear dishes when bringing out our meals, did not refill our waters, and made us feel like whatever we asked was a burden. The server watched us the entire time making our lunch very unpleasant. In between this, we heard snide comments from the staff about another customer's concerns about being overcharged. The location looks to be a little more run down, however, walking inside the restaurant, I felt transformed to a different world - lovely ambiance. A few pillows in the booths were an added comfort that we have not experienced before. The food was delicious - we had the Chicken Satay, Fresh spring rolls with tofu, Chicken soup and yellow curry with brown rice. The portion sizes are plenty - more appropriate than most places that give way too much. I left the restaurant filled. The service was excellent - prompt, with enough time to enjoy conversation. This review is not so much about the food, which is delicious, but about the staff and restaurant itself. My wife recently had a negative experience at Savory Thai. Our order took twice as long as it normally does, and the staff seemed to be rude and divisive. I posted a less than desirable review, and within 24 hours received a response from Savory Thai. The response explained the situation, offering apologies and justification for what happened. The response seemed genuine and sincere. If a restaurant, who's food is (again) delicious, is willing to respond to one negative review in such a quick, positive and responsive way, this is a restaurant at which I absolutely will continue to eat!! read more

This place is brand new and I've already been here twice. The steak in the steak salad is top notch! The glass noodles are delicious also. My sister had the yellow curry on our first visit here and she loved it. She's not the biggest Thai food fan but she absolutely loves the yellow curry. The restaurant is clean and very tastefully decorated. The staff is really friendly and very welcoming. Absolutely wonderful! This is now my favorite Thai restaurant. Everything here is great. I tried the puff appetizers, which are similar to samosas, the Tom khan soup, the masuman dinner, and coconut ice cream. Lots of flavor! All of it was excellent and not over priced at all.
