I've been to this Savers a few times and I have left with some great stuff! They have sections for everything you can think of: clothing, kitchenware, toys, games, furniture, books, crafts, accessories, etc. It does take a while to sort through everything; the shelves and racks are pretty crowded/stuffed. I usually don't bother sorting through the bagged up items on the walls because they're too difficult to get through. However, the clothing section is VERY organized for a thrift store (I found maybe 2 misplaced items-- that's it!). They have tons of XS clothing, which is usually scarce in other stores. I wish they had a bigger craft section (usually just yarn), but I guess that's based off what donations they receive so kind of out of their control. The books section is pretty big and they usually have some kind of deal or sale! As for pricing, it's really inconsistent and tends to be a bit on the higher side. The first time I went, I found a vintage wooden side table in super good condition for $9.99; but a pair of worn American Eagle jeans for $13.99...... Last time I went, I spent about $40 & left with 7 items (4 pairs of jeans, a shirt, a purse, & a pair of shoes). It's very hit or miss but it usually evens out when you see your total. Parking is usually great; it's a parking lot in the same area as DSW but usually not crowded, even on weekends. I will say it is a little dirty in there and they don't really clean out any of the items before shelving them. I found a few purses with crumbs, tissues, old lipstick blotters, etc. They do get this stuff for free so I obviously don't expect a deep clean of every item, but a quick once-over would be nice considering their pricing can be high. COVID changes: masks are required in store, and their fitting rooms are closed. You can EXCHANGE (not return) any items that don't fit after you get them home. All employees were wearing their masks, wiping down the shopping carts, wearing gloves, etc.! read more

I see used lingerie/undies and body suits on the racks which is a health hazard. No they do not wash anything before putting on the racks. They simply take what you donate and put them on a hanger and onto the rack. I'm not sure why savers and goodwill are not being checked my the MA and NH health boards because both savers in different states are doing this. Absolutely disgusting and anyone who buys used underwear it's obviously a feti$h (not k:nk shaming if that's your thing that's your thing but this is savers) or they simply have a low IQ and don't mind transferring STIs, shii stains, or period stains onto their private parts. Also if you have ANY tags falling off your merchandise be prepared to be accused of playing a game with management and will embarrass you in front of customers. I wish i could give this place a negative star review, the "manager" here alyssa always standing in front of the registers, every time i come to this location i always have a bad experience here no matter what, i think race plays a big role in her motives, i've also noticed my donations here have never made it out of the bins or the back rooms, but there's another employee that is way kinder and is the opposite of her manager, there shouldn't be people like her working in a establishment with other people. Avoid this store if you can, toys are all over the floor, items are scattered everywhere, everything is opened or taken out of packages, overpriced items, a used pressure washer that is broken should not be $50 dollars, let's not forget the clothes which cost most than they are new, always stained, ripped or torn. You also can't test the electronics from here anymore after the new management has entered the store, you only have 48 hours to return the item with a lousy store credit which nothing is worth buying here, save your money. FURNITURE BEING SOLD PRIVATELY & DONATE ELSEWHERE! - We've been coming to this Savers for over two years on a weekly basis and have always adored it. Recently, there are two people, a man and a woman, who sit in the furniture section during ALL open hours every single day of the week, and buy ALL the furniture that comes out from the back doors. There is none of quality left for anyone else to purchase. It's pretty frustrating. I have seen them sitting in the furniture area every single time I have gone over the past month. The man goes into the back with the employees and comes out with merchandise in bins and furniture that never entered the store floor. There is clearly a private deal occurring. I would NOT recommend coming to this location anymore, due to this. Anything that is worth purchasing, is instantly taken by this couple. Never mind that their prices are equivalent to TJMaxx, often more expensive. Keep in mind, this is a nonprofit. They are selling your donations for the price you bought them for. I use to love going to Savers, but now I don't because I can't try anything on. I wish they would bring back the dressing rooms. I tried bringing things home with an intention of returning it if it didn't fit or whatever, but it's hard to always get back there, and I think you have to return things within 7 days. Without the ability to try clothes on there it is outrageous you can only return items for a store credit. I'm here for Easter weekend unexpectedly without my luggage and wanted to be thrifty because I have a closet full of nice dresses and no need for yet another clothing item. Nowhere private to even to slip stuff on as men are lurking around watching the woman try items on in the aisles. The place is put together well but a lot of the items are filthy and the staff l encountered, except the manager who was very kind explaining the process of refunds and returns were rude walking by and brushing Bessie me without so much as an excuse me. I bought four items the two I wasn't able to try on are of course no-go items and need to be returned, but before I tried them on I put them in a high heat dryer due to smell and the tags fell off. Donating here is much easier and more rewarding than other donation sights where they throw glass pieces, etc, into large outside bins and you wonder why you spent time trying to pack them so they would be given in pristine shape. The guys outside are always very helpful and couldn't make it any less work. I've donated at least twice a month since they've opened so this is a review based on many experiences. read more

I used to like this store when it first opened and for its first year or so. I visit here once every month now to donate and look around and shake my head. Everything is SO overpriced its a joke!! I saw a womans blouse that was of course 2nd hand and ripped in 2 places that was $12.99!! Picture frames for 6.99 that I can buy from the dollar store that LOOK better. I plugged in a vacuum cleaner that didn't even turn on. REALLY? All of the clothing looks sorted into sizes but it isn't correct. And the workers walk right by you and do not want to answer questions. They converse with themselves. I shopped for 2 hours and walked out totally filthy (looking for a bargain). I didn't buy a thing. For anyone who knows me thats quite unlike me. I'll be going back to the other Savers in Danvers. They are nicer and cheaper. read more

The staff were friendly. My problem with Savers is that it is NOT handicap friendly. The carriages are not allowed to leave the store. I have four different kinds of arthritis and had to carry two large, full bags without handles! What are elderly and disabled supposed to do? Buy one item at a time? My husband and I go to this savers regularly and have never had an issue. It wasn't until just a few days ago when we asked a woman named Dianne for her help and we were treated absolutely HORRIBLY. I have never felt so disrespected and belittled in my life. I was reduced to tears after our encounter! Thankfully, another woman Cheryl ended up helping us and was extremely kind and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Cheryl! I shop at savers often and lately I've noticed one of the cashiers using racial comments to black customers and telling at a Mexican family. I found this totally disturbing considering that I had my 10 year old daughter with me, not to mention all the other customers. This is an older woman with gray hair I think her name is Cheryl. You would not think that an older woman would act like this. She is very rude to customers and is always giving people dirty looks. I think she needs to find another job where she is not around people. We are appalled with her saying the N word. They are the worse place to shop they are rip offs . They dont have a fitting room and what's worse you cant even get a refund. if the item dont fit you can only exchange it . I was pretty happy with the selection and price but I specifically wanted used baby books. There was a wall-full to choose from. It's not organized other a kids' book section but if you have the time, it's worth it. The books were $1.25 each, and buy 4, get one free. Most were in good condition, and you can find some if the popular ones. Although I didn't purchase other items, the clothes looked organized and plenty of aisle space to browse. The furniture selection wasn't great. I recommend the salvation army also in saugus. Service was ok. I did have to wait a long time because there was only one working register, and a long line of customers. read more

Savers is great. It is clean, well-lit, and well-organized. They do this neat thing where they hang up the pants sideways on the clip hangers, so you can see them better. The staff are courteous. I found several nice things to wear, and everything was so cheap. Savers supports the Epilepsy Foundation, which is a much worthier recipient than the homophobes down at Salvation Army. And Savers is much cleaner than every single Goodwill I've ever visited. Savers deserves a look. read more

I am a frugal woman. I go to all different thrift stores to ensure my family has nice things without going broke. This is one of my favorite Savers. I have found many DVDs, sweaters and wonderful baby clothes at this location. The inconvenience of the location is a big factor in the variety of items here. This location used to be great. It had well organized shelves, clothing grouped together in the right sizes, and an easy drop off donation process. Over the past few weeks that's all changed. I'm not sure if they changed store managers, but the store is now always a disheveled mess every time we visit. One lady who we can only assume is the manager (as she's the one we see barking out orders at younger employees) always sneers at us. Sneers! And the donation door buzzer has been out of order for literally weeks so you have to go inside, flag someone down, and wait for them to stop complaining about not having time to deal with the donations door. And then actually unload all of your donations at least 30 minutes after arriving. It's ridiculous. To top it all off in at least half the times we visit - today included - it was like moving heaven and earth to receive a donation tax receipt. Note to Savers execs: you run a non-profit and issuing tax receipts for donations is a responsibility, not a "if I have time to do it today". read more

So I've never heard of a Savers before so I didn't know what to expect. I was thinking something along the lines of a Dollar Tree or Family Dollar. Well I was pleasantly surprised. The place was pretty big and had a lot of second-hand clothing and trinkets. I wouldn't recommend the furniture or electronics.. that area looks like a junk yard. The cream of the crop is the clothing and the selection is quite expansive. I perused the second hand selection and found some amazing deals. One pair of pants in particular that fit perfectly and looked great for a steal. Overall I can see myself coming here from time to time to make use of what they claim as "daily new inventory".. which I don't doubt since they have a donation center right next door. Pro-tip: make sure to wash the clothing before you wear. read more
