Big store, lots of clothes, purses, jewelry just generally a good selection of items. They even give you discounts at the register sometimes if you're buying a lot of items. If you donate, they give you a voucher for certain percentage off your next purchase and that's pretty awesome to me. read more

The place is like the Thrift Store equivalent to a Marshall's. They have rows and rows of clothing, toys, furniture and anything you would imagine being thrown out. The items are not priced at a flat rate like Goodwills but a lot of things are cheaper than Goodwills. Saver's records and clothing are cheaper than Goodwill's and you might even find brand new items at Savers. However, books are substantially overpriced at Savers. For a store that big and with many people browsing around, I'm surprised at how clean and organized the place is. I recommend this place for all thrifty people out there! read more

This Savers location is conveniently on Imperial Highway in La Miranda. I like this location more than most Salvation Army locations and all Goodwills (there are many reasons why I won't go to Goodwill). The selection here is pretty good. A lot of my friends and neighbors have recommended Savers to me and I'm glad I gave it a shot. This store also has a donation center outside on the left side of the building. In order for you to donate anything, it must be either in bags or in boxes. The staff here are very friendly. I highly recommend this place. read more

I have a newfound love for vintage shopping! Especially in this horrible state of the economy, you gotta get creative! Anyhow, I live 5 minutes from Savers and stumbled upon it a year ago. I am in love! The store is organized really nicely! The dressing rooms are scary...but you gotta expect it at thrift stores, right? I can spend hours at this place! Their homegoods section is worth checkin' out! There are some truly hidden treasures that you can find! I love the fact that all the clothes are organized by category. So, if I know I am looking for a great jacket, I know exactly where to head to. I am normally a vintage shopper when it comes to thrifting but today, on the precipice of a promotion at work, I needed one thing - *business casual*. I had two hours and a fairly open mind, but I was definitely looking for some specific stuff - those Bermuda shorts that are made of suit material and some cute blouses with short sleeves. Dude. DUDE. I cleaned up! Savers has some nice enough stuff in very good condition (in my haul: Gap, New York and Company, Max Studio and some of the brands I've seen lurking at Nordstrom Rack). Found the shorts, plus some pants, 7 or 8 tops, and new, packaged wigs for our Bowie Halloween costumes ($5.99 each!). I basically bought half a work wardrobe for $50. If that isn't wonderful, I don't know what is. The store was really well organized, both by size and garment type. It was a little pricey for me, but I might be delusional in my thinking about the "golden years" of Quality Thrift when I was in high school. All in all, it was really easy to find what I was looking for and super cheap compared to buying new. I wish I'd had more time to browse. The only weaknesses are the lame men's clothes selection (to be fair, I was only looking at the polo shirts) and the prices (then again, I iz cheap). read more

Almost every Saturday while I was in undergrad, I would walk about a mile each way to escape from the BIola bubble and go thrifting at Savers. This was my induction into the world of thrifting; some six years and thirteen or so moves later, I still have some of the housewares that I bought here. I recently was back in the area and dropped by to see what treasures were waiting for me. I appreciate how orderly the clothing is -- sorted by size, and by tag color on each rack; however, most of it is rather pricey for thrift store clothing. I went through the racks for the half-price tags, and it was pretty slim pickings. I saw some tops and t-shirts that I liked, but they were about twice the price I would want to pay for thrift shirts. There was a nice selection of women's graphic tees when I visited. This is a decent enough thrift store if you are carless at Biola, but there are definitely better choices out there if you have a car. read more

A total blast from my past that I revisited this weekend! I used to come here every weekend in a past life (no, I'm not a creepy new ager -- past boyfriend/past life). Well my niece reminded me of it on Friday night and guess who drove there Saturday afternoon? It was just as I remembered it...jam packed with amazingness. It's so damn organized that it almost melts this cold, cold heart o mine. Each section is clearly marked with what is there -- ladies long sleeve shirts / ladies short sleeve shirts, etc. And each section is hung by color...can you believe it? Me neither. The prices are still pretty good, too. Not really overpriced like so many other thrift stores these days. That made me happy that they have remained reasonable. I went there for a specific type of shirt for my Halloween costume and of course found it almost immediately. I also found a dress, 2 skirts, some shoes and a belt. There is always some sort of tag sale going on (1/2 price on orange tag or something like that). I can't wait to come back here and spend the day! read more

I came here looking for a few specific items of clothing and I wasn't disappointed! I was able to find a lovely wool vest and skirt set for $6.99 and the only thing wrong with it was the hook and eye closure on the skirt needed repairing. Easy fix! The clothing items are definitely 1980's to newer but there were quite a few nice, newer pieces. I picked up a khaki JCrew blazer for $6.99. The accessory area wasn't too plentiful but it looked like the housewares section was quite extensive. I'll definitely be back since it seems like they have a high turnover of clothes. Alot of the pieces I bought were marked with dates within the last 3 days so you know they're getting new items in all the time. read more

This is perhaps one of my most FAVORITE thrift stores. Great finds to be ... uh ... found! You can find LOTS and LOTS of trash to treasure items to take home and make new again! I have bought many nice sweaters and oodles of jeans at crazy little prices. For a thrift store, the place has a lot of stuff. I never really find " cool" fashion but if I need a quick sweater and a book or something, I will stop at this place. It is a bit messy at times but mostly during special days like Halloween etc. The staff is ok, nothing outstanding but they do what they are there to do. I have donated tons of good stuff and the guys outside are always really nice. Savers is my ultimate favorite store!!! I have bought so many very nice, brand name clothes here for obviously way wayyy below the original price! How exiting right? I can buy tons of outfits versus only buying maybe two shirts somewhere else. They have a super clean feel to their store (unlike Goodwill) :P and their staff is super nice! Another thing I love is that they always have super great deals going on and you can get your stuff for even cheaper... If you're a book lover, they have a huge selection of very popular books for, you guessed it, super cheap. :) I love this store and you'll always find something you like there. read more

Love this place! Really well organized and clean. Found some great finds here. The first time I came I purchased a Bebe dress, a dress from The Loft and a couple Baby Gap outfits. I came a few days later and purchased a Griswold cast iron pan, a large jadeite bowl, a necklace from white market black house with the tag still attached, a vintage tie clip and some kitchen accessories for the house. Large variety. Sometimes the prices are a bit high. They had a set of Franciscan dishes that were full priced! Customer service here is phenomenal. I forgot to get my stamp card the first time and they remembered me there and helped me out. read more

I am not much of a thrifter, but every time I come here I have come away with something *awesome*! Among these items is a Juicy Couture cardigan for $8.00, 7 for All Mankind jeans for $30.00, and a Moda International (A brand popular in Nordstrom's Juniors section/Urban Outfitters/Windsor) dolman sweater for $6.00, all of them in FANTASTIC condition. The store itself is actually well-organized, has a decent dressing room area if needed, and the staff has always been super helpful and friendly (especially when asked about the deals for the day!) Definitely a store for thrifters and newbies alike with a good selection of higher-end clothing. read more

Hella expensive for a thrift store. It obvious they look up prices online of their bags brought in and they price them super close to retail. Not worth the trip. If it's a difference of a few dollars just buy it new or hunt a better thrift store. read more

why are they so much cleaner than goodwill?!! whatever it is, i hope they keep doing it! almost everything is in GREAT condition. everything is laid out by gender, then by category (tanks, short sleeve knit, short sleeve woven, blouse, etc.), then again by size. it is obvious they are constantly checking the racks because today i could not find ONE thing in the wrong spot!! each day has a special discount going on (today it was 50% off silver tags and shorts, tanks and swimwear). all the kids' toys for sale were clean and presentable. i wouldn't be worried about all the germs on it if my girls had wanted something. i got 6 shirts, 3 shorts, 2 pants (both with tags still on!) and 2 board games for a grand total of $37!!! i hear they give you 30% off coupons if you donate goods. they do not refund anything but within 7 days of purchase you can exchange so long as their tags are still attached. when i have time i will go check out the books! it looks like barnes and nobles on that side of the store! read more

So so so big and well organized for a thrift store! Everything is priced individually and separately so you never know what steals you can find here. There's a LOT of parking space, usually more than one cashier, and several fitting rooms for maximum efficiency :) read more

The rating is based on the fact that it keeps my roommate occupied (and out of the house every Saturday and everyday during vacations). Now admittedly he's a little OCD about thifting, and Savers in particular. Is this the only Savers in Southern Cali? It's like 45 minutes from L.A. This is not Melrose Trading Post vintage, it's a lot closer to St Vincent de Paul trash if you ask me. It's pretty big, not too crowded (except sometimes the checkout). Cute boys work here. I have been coming to this Savers form years and every time I go in I always leave with bags full of stuff. Love how big it is and how bright it is inside. I recently went in and bought 3 dresses, a cardigan, a tote bag, a bag of happy meal toys, and 2 tops all for $28. One of the dresses I bought was from target and retailed for $32 so for less than one dress I walked out with much more. I could spend hours in here, if my husband let me :) Only cons I have: 1) it's far from me :( and 2) when halloween rolls around their costumes are sometimes pricey, they run you almost the same as if you went to the pop up halloween shops. My cousin went to saver's today and found a really cute bench that can open for storage. She asked an employee how long can she hold an item, she was told 30 minutes. She them called me to rush and help her pick it up. I drove in heavy traffic to la Mirada from L.A. when I arrived, she came up to me with a sad look on her face. She said there was a woman and a young girl that had eyed how my cousin arranged a pillow and small planter and a clock that matched the chest. My cousin sat by the chest waiting for me to arrive. The woman spoke to a young employee and he came and was moving items from around the area. When he reached for the bench, my cousin told him she was taking it and the things on it. He said the woman was going to purchase the chest and moved the items off that she put with the chest. My cousin explained to that she was waiting for me to arrive to purchase and help move it.There wasn't a tag or anything indicating it was sold, therefore, it was available as I held it with my other items. More than likely he had sent the woman to pay for it because she soon left. He said she's purchasing it my cousin told him that she was going to purchase it as soon as I arrived. He told her that he was writing it up for the other woman. This is how you lose customers and get bad reviews! The employee should have told the woman it was being held and should have never been taken from under her feet. Totally wrong on his part. My cousin asked for a manager and because she was agreeing with him, she asked if there was someone above her, hoping that someone above her would listen. She said there was no one above her. "Finding that really hard to believe." While all the while they were grinning and smirking. These employees need to be retrained. This will be my last time shopping here. Worst service ever! While I was there I asked him for his name, he refused to give his name, I took a photo and unprofessionally waved and smiled for the camera. No professionalism whatsoever. I gave 1 star for the store itself for its own merit and zero stars for the employees involved. This occurrence took place August 5, 2019, between 7:30 & 8:30 pm. read more

I've been here a few times and so far I haven't had any problems! Very clean, organized, doesn't smell terrible like other thrift stores do. Prices aren't bad at all, much cheaper than the goodwill! I found a zara skirt for $4.99 and some tshirts for under $3! They also have a decent size baby section where I always find cute playtime clothes for my lil one. I give it 4 stars because their shopping carts suck and the dressing rooms are super tiny, but then again it's a thrift store so what do you expect. read more

Ah my first thrift store shopping experience. I love that the clothes are arranged by color and that everything is very orderly. My favorite part of Savers is walking through their housegoods and "technology" aisles. Many great finds here. The first time I went, I picked up an AWESOME Casio SA-38 keyboard for $3! Also, the little boy's section has great plaid shirts, I mean I just like plaid, um yeah. However, I give this Savers three stars because the employees are indeed quite rude. read more

I just had a terrible experience at this La Mirada Savers. I usually go to the one in Yorba Linda and I had a couple of things to return. I had called the Yorba Linda store and asked if I had to return them there or was any Savers fine. She said any savers was fine. But, after I did my shopping and the clerk rang up my things I gave her my returns. She tried to ring up one of them so I had to remind her they were returns. So, I give her my receipt from last week with the garments and she takes the receipt to the supervisor, which is the usual process as they have to get approval. Well this supervisor came over and said she couldn't do my returns because she didn't like "the size of the holes" on the tags, which, mind you were attached to the garments as they were supposed to be. Apparently she thought I somehow "switched tags" from something else and so she couldn't do it because the tags looked like that to her. Nevermind that the tags matched the receipt and match exactly the garments (size, what the garment was sweater etc). Also, if it was the wrong tag how would it have matched the receipt? Makes no sense at all. And they said that they aren't even supposed to sell a garment if the tag looks like that. Oh, well is that why the clerk almost rang it up before I had reminded her it was a return? Guess the tag wasn't a problem if they were going to sell it to me. I just didn't like being accused like that, which is basically what she was doing. The last time I did a return I had CUT OFF the tag from the garment before I realized it didn't fit but was able to return it to the Yorba Linda store no problem since I did have the actual tag. I recommend every one STAY AWAY from this Savers and go to the Yorba Linda one. They just shouldn't be allowed to treat good paying customers this way. I spend a lot of money there. read more

This isn't my usual Savers store that I shop at but I was in the area and decided to stop in. This Savers was very clean, uncluttered, organized, and the employees were very friendly. I happened to be in there when they were having their 50% off Summer sale. Wow! I got so many cute things for work, including several brand new shirts, a pair of shoes AND I actually found a Cal State Fullerton Tshirt for my daughter! Those things aren't cheap but I found it here for 1/2 price & only paid $1.99!! What a deal! I ended up spending over an hour in the store, spent only $23 and walked out with 14 items! The cashier was so sweet and folded each item of clothing so nice and neat. She was super friendly and thanked me for shopping at their store ( I had mentioned to her this wasn't my usual store) I will for sure return to this Savers in the future. I had always known about Savers but never really shopped there up until 3 years ago. My cousin lives fairly close to the location so we would go in and walk around and soon after we began shopping there and to our surprise we found SO MANY fashionable items such as high waisted denim pants ($5), 2 pairs of lucky brand denim, one being from the men's section and cut into high waisted shorts ($5) and one pair that was in good condition ($14), combat boots ($7) and many more. This store is truly a go to for all thrifters, I have even seen the most top notch looking shoppers shop here, this store is for everyone and it would be a shame not to look into it. read more

I'm surprised people reviewing this Savers said it was clean and organized. Because it was absolutely crowded and so messy. The clothing is really close together on the racks that made it hard to pull anything out. I think as a result of that, clothing was lying on the floor. A pro was that there was pretty legit vintage clothing. I recommend the one on Yorba Linda. Now that one is organized and clean. read more

I donate to Savers quite frequently and shop there even MORE frequently. My 3 year old think of it as his "toy" store! Which is awesome. Never paying full price for a toy again. Imagine my complete displeasure when I was insulted donating to this location. I have donated many times & never had one issue. I always collect things in a bag or box through the month and donate when it's full. I have NEVER been questioned or complained too about my donations. I pulled up to the donation bay & the young man came out & took our bag, looks at the contents and goes " why didn't you separate your stuff?" I have never ever been asked to separate or told that I should. I'm pretty sure that's why he is there & what he gets paid for. I just don't understand why he needed to react that way. A simple thank you would of been fine. Never donating or shopping at this one again. So rude. read more
