They were happy to accept my donation of rarely-used genuine crystal glasses, but when I asked how they would be sold, the man said "Just like any other glasses". Some shopper had a very good deal. As a buyer, the clothes are (obviously) used. Some good, some bad. Anything electronic related is a waste of time -- it ages too quickly. This store has a huge inventory, and the donation staff is always helpful, but shopping here is a bit of a joke because things are always way too overpriced. Today was my first visit to Savers and I couldn't be more happy. I easily got hundreds of dollars worth of clothing for $16.90 because of the greeen/orange tag half off special, of which I was not aware until I got to the cashier. I was expecting to pay full price which would have been something like $33 (still a considerable bargain) but was informed that it was all half off. Makes me wish I'd purchased more. read more

Big bright well stocked with wide aisles. Personally my favorite thrift store. Clothes are sorted by sizes instead of colors. Staff is very friendly and certain days different colored tags are % 50 off. read more

Today there was an older man working (wearing a lavender polo shirt) stocking the kitchen supplies area. He came across an item someone had broke and just left on the ground. He then proceeded to YELL at all the customers around him "YEAH THAT'S GREAT PEOPLE, JUST BREAK SOMETHING AND LEAVE IT ON THE GROUND, REAL POLITE PEOPLE, JUST BREAK IT AND WALK AWAY FOR SOMEONE TO GET HURT, REAL NICE! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!" He seriously would NOT shut up. Had he shut up, I would have turned around to tell him the man who knocked over that item did inform a staff member and they were on the way with a broom...... How an employee would think it is acceptable to yell at all the customers is beyond me and was very uncomfortable, I thought he was a customer at first until I saw him going in and out of the back room to stock items.... He didn't have a name tag on, like MANY of the other workers.... And yes I agree that would be annoying to stumble upon, but someone else was already taking care of it. Many employees here are constantly buzzing in and out of the storage room with carts full of things to be stocked and they are seriously rude about it. Treating customers like an inconvenience... I really enjoy this store as I have found exceptional customer service and many very good employees. I have only had one negative experience in purchasing a couch where when I was done shopping and went to the register to pay, they told me they messed up the price and it was double the advertised price. I did not have a pleasant experience shopping here. The quality of items were iffy, prices were high considering the condition of most items. The store was a mess. The checkout lines (process) is a cluster. When I was next in line a clerk opened another register and instead of getting the next person to help, the manager just yelled this register is now open and people who were not in line walked right up and checked out. I had been waiting about 10 mins. at that point. Since I only had a couple of items I sat them down and walked out. It was easy to do since I found the prices to be higher than other thrift stores I frequent. Eco Thrift in Hayward has great deals and one checkout line and a seamless process. I will not be coming back to Savers anytime soon. read more

I like the store, but, they have designer knockoff purses, priced at authentic prices. 400$ for a knock of LV, 80$ for a knockoff Coach. If you dig the clothes, you can find nice clothes, at fair prices. Lots of books. I am disappointed about the purses, they imply they are real with the high price, but they are fake, and the store manager, doesn't care. Proceed with caution around the purses. read more

I just went to this massive thrift store. I was so impressed with the size of the store, the selection of goods & the condition of items being sold. However, I was so disgusted @ the prices. Most stuff are priced ridiculously high. Like a pair of Tom's shoes with a hole for $9.99, a dress for 24.99 & jeans as high as $39.99! I still managed to buy some stuff that I really need. I would want to come back again but please lower the prices a little bit. The reason why people go to a thrift store is to find some things they need, want and that they could afford! You guys get your stuff from donations. Selling expensive used goods defeats the purpose of your being a thrift store. Btw, I give 5 stars to the friendly & helpful staff!!! read more

Was my very favorite place to shop; went once a week. Then they were taken over by new owners, now I won't go back. Their newly instituted policies make purchases an argument. On more than one occasion these policies have made it impossible for me to purchase what I found on their floor. When it takes two hours to wade through the materials in their shelves (as it is a thrift store), and then they won't sell the items to me, it's so incredibly maddening. Additionally, prices have increased rather drastically since the change in ownership, and the employees have no interest in making the customer happy, or keeping loyal customers returning. I guess they think that they have enough people coming through their doors they don't have to be nice, or worry about whether somebody leaves upset. I'm saddened by this change, since they are supporting a good cause, and I do like to spend my money places that support worthy organizations; however when I leave madder than I've been in years it's completely not worth my time, money, nor the increase in my blood pressure. I like to know I can buy what I find, shopping shouldn't be a guessing game as to whether they will actually sell me the items I find. read more

I used to shop here every month, prices WERE great and the store was always filled but still easy to go through. The last few times I shopped I left the store after 15 mins because everything was so expensive. I will not be shopping at this location anymore because by now it is a better deal and even cheaper to shop at real retail stores. Their pricing is all over the place and some crappy tee shirts with stains are $5, and an old plain bra is $7. I can not believe the pricing at this location. Plus the store is so over crowded with items that it is a pain to look through. I will NOT support a location that is overcharging on items they got for free. read more

This is the megaton of thrift stores. This place looks like it took over a giant warehouse. The place is extremely organized and everything is clearly labeled. There is a wide selection of children's books and they are ridiculously cheap. I will never pay full price for children's books again! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. -1 star for having so many checkout stands yet only one person ringing people up. read more

As I have been there many times, I think I realized something. In one case up front, they have an Elgin watch face only for around 300. As far as I know, that is way overpriced. However, I think what they will do is try to price some items high, so that if they sell it, they get more money to give to the charity each store supports. At one point, they will reduce the price, then if doesn't sell, I fiqure they will reduce the price again. Since they are a thrift store, I am okay with that. read more

Great selection and awesome prices. I love consignment stores especially when u can get quality items on a super tight budget. Great selection of brand name and designer jeans if you have a little patients to search the racks. Lots of kids clothing most of the stuff is either very lightly used or brand new with tags still on. I made a drop off today and was amazed at how helpful the staff was. When I pulled up 3+ employees were there curbside to help take in all my donations out of the car and all were super friendly. My experience was a complete 180 from donate at the Goodwill right down the street only 10 min prior where it felt like I was being some kind of bother and they wouldn't take my items (even though the site said they took toys/games). Whenever I have more to donate I will definitely stop here again and will recommend to all my friends. read more

I had donated some stereo components and the next day realized I had made a mistake. I went to the manager, Ryan Dela Cruz, and explained the issue. At first we couldn't find the components. But after some sleuthing Ryan realized where they might be. He was going to GIVE them back to me after hearing my story and succinct description of the items. I told him I was expecting to pay to get them back. After some debate I was able to convince him I wanted to pay for my error. This guy ROCKS!!! I would recommend Savers to everyone. You can be sure I will donate to Savers in the future. (After making sure I'm donating the right items! LOL) read more

Another plus for being a Dublin resident is having Savers close by. Where else can you find fashion at a very good price? I've found so many name-brand clothing that are still in good condition for a fraction of the price of new merchandise. If there's a negative I would say some items are pricier than I'd expect but I go in with a coupon in hand most of the time. Depending on the day, they will have colored-tag sales at big discounts like 50%. You receive coupons up to something like 30% for donating items at Savers that goes to benefit epilepsy foundation. I'm usually shopping for apparels but they also have books, jewelry, home decor, furniture, accessories, shoes, purses/wallets, toys, etc. I just love coming to this store for great deals on incredible finds! The apparels are freshly laundered as far as I can tell. They don't smell like someone's closet nor stink of something old and used, so I feel very comfortable trying them on and purchasing them. i came in today for the first time to see if i can buy some sterling and gold jewelry..when i check some of your gold necklaces i came across a 350.00 gold necklace and when i looked at it and put my magnet on it..well guess what it clicked..and most of the gold necklace also..so fake! what are you guys trying to pull here..i ask for a manager or supervisor but i guess they were not in or were afraid to talk with me because they called after i ask for one..and i guess they told the person that they were coming in at evening time..wow really..so no supervisors or managers work there at that time huh..i dont get that..you have honest people buying from you and you in the other hand are trying to sell fake gold and even silver for that price!! who ever is running this place needs to get removed asap...not cool at all..who ever is reading this please before you buy any of their jewelry to triple check it for quality and if its real...i hope corporate or anyone higher please pay attention to this matter...i dont know what kind of business you guys are running here but i sure wont come back here..i buy and donate to other stores all the time but i just cant believe you guys would do this to people..be honest with yourselves and do the right thing...god bless! read more
