Found a few gems here including a few baby books and a vintage Hawaiian story book with CD for my baby by Uncle Willie K (brings back childhood memories for me). And a pair of brand name pants for my little for $2.50 and one for me for $1.50 (it was cheaper than my baby's because it was on sale haha). In total I spent less than $8! I came here recently and got a very pretty dress and a book for about $20 total. They have a decently wide selection of items but you might have to spend some time searching to find what you want. The staff are very friendly and I actually do really enjoy the store layout, I feel like some stores come off as quite cramped but this one did not give me that impression when I entered in. read more

I was looking for nearby places to donate baby clothing and toys. They were not kidding when they said kids grow up so fast, even within the first year! I learned that Goodwill in Dublin recently closed up shop and learned that Savers across the street does not accept ANY baby items for donations. Luckily, nearby Thrift Station does. You need to drive around to the back to access their donation station. After parking your car in the cramped lot, you can bring in your bags of donations. There's a whole crew of women in the back sorting and organizing things. I was able to donate four shopping bags worth of onesies, sleep sacks, pants, T-shirts, socks, etc. Unfortunately, they have limited capacity so they were not able to take larger items like play mats and crib mobiles. They were nice about it and suggested I try next week after they free up some space. read more

This thrift store I think is more reasonable in pricing than Hospice thrift shop!! Sad how Hospice Thrift Shoppe overprice on their items. I believe those items are donated and I understand store wants to make money too but why price a wicker small basket with handle $5 when I can get a better one at $2.50 at Thrift Station. I thoroughly enjoyed spending a couple of hours browsing and finding some treasures. It was very clean and well-maintained. Love that the employees are volunteers and donate to a local charity. I've read most of the reviews here and want to offer a new facet in the way most of the reviews are critiquing the volunteers. Had anyone considered that the unhappy grumpy volunteers could be program recoverers? These women could be survivors of trauma and they get hope while working there. We really do not know what someone has been through. Maybe we need to look at their giftings, etc. And compliment them with our smiles and generous words of encouragement, or a fun joke, etc. Take a risk to cheer, uplift and leave sparkle. I had a career in retail and most customers expect you to be their therapist, wailing wall, servant, or doormat. Our first world problems are so small compared to other places, aren't they? Hubby and I head to Danville/WC at least once a month and we try to hit the thrift shops. This is tough as I love a good nonprofit, but...I just cannot understand how they justify the prices?? INC is $18 when it sells for $59, BR is $28 for a top?? SMH...then again I think most of the thrift shops are pricey nowadays. The two stars is due to the volunteers being unpleasant, maybe because they're working hard for free? There's one older volunteer I've met a few times that's never friendly (at least shes' consistent). If you see her just go the other way (she's missing front teeth so maybe that's why she never smiles). I hope she finds her happy! I'll return but my expectations are low. For 12 years, I've donated high-end items, including seven designer bags from brands like Gucci and Christian Dior, along with many other valuable items, to this store. However, after today's experience, I won't be donating here again. While dropping off a heavy bag containing various items, including a decorative globe, the globe unknowingly broke, and some water leaked onto the floor. The staff's reaction was shockingly hostile--they demanded I leave immediately, and one woman even physically pushed me out as I was complying. I've also learned they treat their customers poorly, which only confirms my decision to stop supporting this place. My husband and I were in the area. Cute little shop. The items they have in here are much cuter and rare. I've gone with my husband to several thrift stores and out of all of them, I like this location. Been here twice and once you see an item that you really like- grab it, can't guarantee it will be there again. However, I'm not too sure if I'll be around again. I am in the current process of donating A LOT of stuff to this shop because of who they benefit. It's hard to find a way to support mental health services and programs without directly donating money to them. I have a special needs son and a daughter with learning difficulties. In my immediate family I also have members with anxiety, depression and ADHD. Teen and youth depression has never been higher and covid lockdown did a number on countless people. I will gladly give anything to this shop because of who they benefit. The Discovery Center has helped people I know so here I go with another load of stuff to drop off to them. read more

Great place to find a quality name brand children's clothes. I typically leave with 2-3 items. Honestly I don't shop for much else here because of the lack of organization. The women's clothing is organized by color and not size. The children's clothing is organized by girls and boys. I think taking the little extra time to sort the clothing by size would make a big difference for their customers. I do think their children's clothing is reasonably priced for the condition. read more

Women's s-xl clothes are all mixed in together/ not separated by size, but xxl and above is in a separate area. They have name brand purses and shoes in locked cabinets and vastly overpriced, I could get a brand new dooney for what they're charging for a used dooney. I have volunteered and shopped here and can truly say that I have seen and felt the racism, separatism that is described in other reviews. For being a store whose main focus is mental health I was shocked to see the way most of these "volunteers" acted. Maybe don't volunteer if it's for show and not in a sincere way. Very bad service. I went in with my boyfriend and our dog, they told us the dog couldn't be there unless we carried him around the store. Which I suppose is understandable. After my BF went outside with the dog, the two old ladies at the register continued to talk rudely about him, saying that "people just don't understand that dogs smell and may scare others". This store doesn't even have anything good enough in it to make it worth putting up with their employees. Just goes to show why grumpy people shouldn't be handling customer service. Rude and bitter women. Sucks because the store seemed to look fairly clean and tidy, was looking forward to checking it out. But not now, won't be back. read more

The WORST store I've ever stepped into. A terrible racist store, the employees should be ashamed of themselves. EXTREMELY rude, especially the woman with red short hair. I am checking out and buying just a t-shirt. The shirt is $5.50. I hand the red head woman two five dollar bills. She puts them in the register and gives me a few pennies back. I politely correct her and tell her I gave her ten dollars and need appropriate change, she immediately gets very upset and said I handed her a five and a one dollar bill. She begins to argue with me and humiliate me in a line full of people, making racist remarks. I tell her to check the security footage of me handing ten dollars, the camera is right behind the register. She immediately withdraws my change and somehow exhibits more racism. I ask her, so you were wrong? She shoves the money in my hand and gives me the wrong receipt. I ask for a correct receipt and she calls another old white woman who may be the manager, who is equally if not more rude. AND NO APOLOGY. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

This is the worst donation store and donator experience ever. Our charity donation regardless of what it is, it is meant is help some unfortunate persons or families. So therefore for the staff to be rude and scold us as if we are doing them a favor is beyond disrespectful. Half of them don't even know what is acceptable and what is not is another sign of Mia management. I rarely like to post negative comments but when people go above and beyond to be jerks and leave a negative impression, I will make to a point to put them on notice. This place is heaven-sent. They make the process of donating so incredibly easy that I never have to worry about where to go or how to go through my old stuff ever again. There are a ton of volunteers that all seemed to know what they were doing. They're all super friendly and tell you exactly where to put things as soon as you walk in. They even make sure you leave with a receipt for tax returns on your way out. I think I was in an out in 5 minutes despite never having been there before. Would recommend. read more

This was an unexpectedly fun excursion for my coworkers and I as we were on a mission to go find some outfits for a company work function with a 70's theme. I cringe at the idea of dressing up or corporate events with forced participation like themed nights. So, I was stressing a bit about my outfit...Anyway, this location had a great blend of contemporary and gently used fashions that spanned a variety of decades. We picked up a few pieces going "oh this would be great for an 80's night or 60's night" etc. Mixed in with older pieces there were also some brands that one would recognize now from Anthropologie or Banana Republic. The clothing was arranged by category, so I easily found a 70's ish corduroy skirt, turtle neck and funky scarf. They actually had some pretty amazing coats and fancy dresses, that had I been in the market for, I would have spent more time browsing through. Everything was very clean and did not have a funky "thrift store" smell. They had some interesting belts, purses and shoes all at great prices and in good condition. I only had a little time to browse the housewares but noticed a few fun framed vintage travel posters, some unique vases and a variety of other treasures that might be worth coming back to see. The service was pleasant and there seemed to be quite a lot of customers there. Prices were very good considering the quality and cleanliness of the items. There is a $10 minimum on credit card purchases. Our finds were so cheap that we had to pool a few things together to meet the minimum requirements! Cute small thrift shop in Danville. It's located across the street from Chow and Country Waffles. I love thrift stores and my Aunt who is from Danville told me to pay this place a visit. Upon entering I noticed that they had Jimmy Choo high heels in their glass case for $200. It's cute but I don't really have use for it. They have a small selection of clothing items but it's organized. I found a steal, a pair of designer jeans for only $6! Woo! read more

I used to like to support this thrift store but I'm done now! It's only a smaller version of Savers, not sure when they started staging a "know it all" at the back door to decide what will sell and what won't. HOW rude and ungrateful can you be! It was yesterday around 3 oclock and first she says why are you putting that stuff down there? I replied, where would you like it, she said, in this basket so we can go through it. I had 7 boxes of high end kitchenware that I had removed from a home where the owner passed away. I could have left it all on the curb and called for a home pickup but went out of my way to load it up and take it there. So when i went out for another box she comes up to me with this big pan and says, "we can't sell this, it has scratches"! So she starts digging through everything looking for something else she "can't sell". There is PLENTY of "garbage" in that store that SELLS! Who the hell does this woman think she is to decide if something will sell or not? Maybe you are priceing things too high then! So, I said, I'll just take this stuff somewhere else, she says ok good and take those other 2 boxes with you, I said, dont worry and I will, and I will make sure to never step foot in here again! She says, we only want things that will sell. Lol, she found 1 item, that she thinks wont sell so she sends away a load of high end kitchen stuff that she had know idea of what was in the other boxes. I would only expect that they would accept everything and maybe give what they dont want to the homeless or Savers, who, by the way, came out to my car and unloaded everything and took it in and was very HAPPY FOR THE "DONATION" This woman was RUDE and they need to put someone pleasant and gratefully at the door. I suggest to anyone wanting to make a donation, go to another thrift store that would appreciate your donation. I did go to the store on Diablo Rd. but their parking lot by the back door was loaded with items and they wanted me to bring it back on Wed......I just wanted it out of my car so I went to Savers, where I should have gone first. Thrift Station looks like its going out of business compared to the one next to Smart & Final, now I see why! Not only did they lose out an some great kitchen items, the lost a good customer. Excited to come visit this thrift store! My wife and I traveled from a few hours away, hitting up different stores along the way. 15 minutes into our visit, my wife had to use the restroom, and was guided to the restaurant next door for that (there was no "public" restroom available). We picked out a couple shirts, brought them to the register, and they were half off. Score! Tried to pay with a credit card, but was told our transaction wasn't enough for that (minimum $10 purchase). They asked if we had cash, and we handed them a 50. They lady declined our money because they don't take anything over $20, and directed us to a bank down the street. We had such high hopes for this place! Rude and disrespectful workers to people donating items. I make a big effort not to donate items that are too worn or missing pieces and to donate to small local shops as opposed to big for profit places. However, I was so insulted when one of the workers rudely commented at some of the toys that they didn't want and that "we need to sell this stuff you know". I will not be donating to this shop again and from other negative reviews and the low quality of stuff on their shelves it seems like I'm not the only one with this opinion. read more

This place is hit and miss. Not just with what you find, but how you are treated. Sometimes the volunteers are super friendly and happy, and others act like they are inconvenienced. I've been going there for years. Their prices are typically very fair. I can only give two stars because either they are remiss that they have put a blackface doll on their top shelf for sale or they are insensitive and/or ignorant.
