How clothes are brought in...interesting. - A large, wrapped bundle of used clothing is displayed on the floor of a thrift store, with various garments including sweaters, shirts, and scarves visible. The pile is secured with plastic wrap, and shopping carts are lined up behind it. The store entrance and a sign promoting text deals are also visible in the background.

I really like this Savers location. As with any thrift store, it's always hit or miss that you're going to find something . Anyhow, this location is well organized, clean and has a pretty good variety of items. Prices are okay and unlike the G-Will, they offer a discount on a certain color, senior discounts and ADVICE::: Make a donation (of any quantity) before you walk in and you'll be given a 20% off coupon!

I stopped by just to browse, didn't really have anything in mind. I bought one piece of Easter decor. Their door sign says no pets, only service animals, which I am all for. Someone's dog was barking non stop, clearly not a service animal and no service jacket. I mentioned the barking to one of the staff who thought the barking was cute. Another worker said the store should be called Savers & Dogs...clearly. She could care less and was quite rude and said the owner and manager allow dogs and wouldn't do anything about the door sign. I told her they should take down that sign and again, she's like I don't control that. The store is a joke.

The image shows a green, rectangular sign mounted on a black post on a sidewalk. The sign has white text that reads, '5 MINUTE Donation parking only,' with a downward-pointing arrow below the text. The background includes a concrete wall and some fallen leaves on the sidewalk, indicating an outdoor setting.

I was trying to look for donation centers (had plenty of clothes, shoes, kitchen ware and furniture to dispose of) and I remember the closest Savers being at Dublin. So I was delighted to find one much closer to home. We had plenty to get rid of, so I was hoping it wouldn't be too crowded. Given it was a random Tuesday morning, it wasn't. All of the donation parking spots were open, so backing up the U-Haul was easy. They took everything but the furniture. (No worries, we were headed to another in hopes they're accepted.) Shout out to Derrick, the Cowboy fan who jokingly said he wouldn't accept any of my stuff just because I was wearing 49er gear! (Good thing Big Bro - a Cowboy fan himself - was with me to back me up!) In all honesty, though, Derrick was cool peeps. I asked how long they've been here. "About a year, and fun fact we're the smallest Savers in California." So it only made sense they couldn't take big items. The whole thing was a lot smoother and easier than I expected. A good run, indeed!

Always has the best 2010's findings there... but pricing is a bit like Goodwill so more on the pricier side.

It's okay, I think after it's been open a bit longer, they'll have a better selection

A great place to pass along those unused items that need to go. Their reuse program is a very good resource.

They have tons of stuff and always have a sale rack. I usually buy shoes, handbags and sunglasses. However, they have lots of clothing, jackets, and jewelry as well. I've read some of the reviews and they say a lot of times people don't greet them while they're shopping. That has happened to me only once. They usually have a lot of great friendly employees ready to assist you. If you are selling clothes, you need to call them and make an appointment which I recommend. Another tip is if you're selling clothes and have a haul to bring in they have a parking lot in the back with easy access to the store. They also have plenty of street parking in front of the store and nearby. I recently went in to pick up a bag that I had them pulled because it didn't sell at a higher price so I decided to keep the handbag and to pick up my check. I hate to admit, however, they sometimes can be a little forgetful when it comes to mailing you your check. I recommend calling in to see how your clothes are doing, and if they've been sold I ask them to mail me my check. And unfortunately they have forgotten two times to mail me my check so now I just pick up my check and I also use it as an opportunity to shop and have lunch in the area. I enjoy and recommend Labels to all the fashionistas out there!

Walked 4 blocks from my apartment. The area is sketchy but what part of Oakland isn't. Upon entering you get a rift of smelly clothes and not enough ventilation. Store was busy so I made my way to the less crowded area and moved along. As I had filled my buggy up, I was waiting for the cashier when I glanced and saw some Alexander Mcqueen shoes in my size. I said to myself, today is my lucky day. I did knock off a star as no on greets or acknowledges you and probably they are used to people just chilling doing nothing in the store. The store could be a little organized with the shoes and general nic nacks they have on the shelves. It has happened too many times to be a coincidence. Another way to boost revenue is to charge men prices for kids items. I don't have to be treated that way. I am a custimer and I have donated dozen of bags of items over the years. Will go to Savers instead.
