Wonderful store. No unpleasant 'thrift store' odor. To the person who commented about the higher clothing items being 'painted' with a dot....the dot is done with special pens that are 100% washable - meaning they come out when washed/cleaned...not permanent as the person stated. When asked I found out that sadly the dots are needed because some people will remove the price tags. I think some of the prices are actually too low. Would be wonderful if they could recruit more volunteers to be on the floor. Upgrades are in motion and it will be exciting to see what comes next! A thrift gem in Livermore! A small thrift store with very reasonable prices. The workers here are always so nice. Parking can be tricky though. They have 4 designated parking spaces in the lot, which I never am able to get. So I end up parking in the street or the back lot. read more

Super clean and organized shop. Lots of colorized racks of what looked like great clothes (men's , women's and children's). We had less than 10 minutes to check it out before closing. We dashed in to see if they had furniture (we are big 2nd hand shoppers) and did not find much along that line. One of the truest thrift stores in the area as far as baseline prices. However, I have two issues. One, how they mark individually tagged items that they consider worth more than baseline items. There have been a handful of items I've been interested in purchasing but they use a paint pen to make a mark so you know it's individually priced, but they've damaged multiple nice items by permanently marking the clothing and fabric instead of the tag. As an example, a cute nice jacket was marked on the collar and it was soaked thru and visible on the back and it looked terrible and because of it wasn't worth the price! Very frustrating and they're still doing it. There are cameras everywhere and no changing rooms, why keep damaging clothing? Mark the tags! Second, pricing is starting to get a little high on random items. Some clothing is off but really where pricing is weird is with knick knacks and some toys, things are triple what is a fair price . But even still, the pricing here is the most fair I've found in Livermore compared to other local thrift stores. I would love it if they put more out, more clothing and more items in the back, I donate regularly so I know there's enough to fill the store more, but it still is a place worth coming back! Dropped off a load of nice used clothing. I was so happy to see the clear bright well organized store. The friendly staff let me know that it was Senior Discount day, I think it was 25% off everything in the store. I took a look around and found a lovely prelit artificial Christmas Tree and some gorgeous large red glitter stars. I've donated to Tri-Valley Haven several times including items going to the women receiving services and to the thrift store. Their donation gate is located around the corner on Railroad Ave (currently accepting donations on Tues and Thurs from 11am-1pm). The thrift store entrance is on N L St (currently open Tues-Sat 10am-5pm). Their website has a crisis line and more information about how to receive services at a different location. They provide a lot of important services in the area for counseling, homeless and family support, domestic violence, and sexual assault. All of the proceeds at their thrift store help fund these programs. Their clients also get vouchers to shop for free at the store. I appreciate that their homepage also has a statement condemning the ongoing anti-Asian hate crimes and that they are working to end all forms of hate and violence. The thrift store itself is clean and well organized. Prices are clearly listed above racks or on the item itself. They have clothes, shoes, accessories, home goods, baby and children's items, and more. They even have a small maternity section. As of today, they are currently having a Back to School sale until at least Saturday (8/21/21). Kid's items are $1 each. read more

I love this place! It's so hard to stay away cause they have so many great things for cheap. Cheaper than the other thrift stores. The only thing is, it's sometimes hard to donate stuff cause they have limited hours. They are open 7 days a week to shop though. That's awesome. I use to visit this store very often pre-pandemic. It has always been very clean and well organized and amazing prices and daily/weekly additional discounts. They had been closed for quiet awhile after covid and then only open limited days/hours so it's been awhile since I've been able to go. Finally made it out a couple days ago and was so disappointed! While it's still extremely organized and clean, the prices have sky rocketed! Sadly, everyone has jumped on the inflation wagon, this "thrift" store included. Dresses $15-30, used jean skirts $15 (A target brand skirt that I could buy for same price brand new at target), used shoes $15+. There was even old, used small terra cotta pots for $10-12!! Can buy brand new at Michaels for under $5! Sadly, it's no longer worth my time, gas or money to shop here anymore. I don't see this place lasting long now. I think Robyn 's description of BVYR TS is a good one. The place feels more like a yard sale than a thrift store. It is not squeaky clean or super organized but it is clean enough and organized well enough that you can find what you are looking for or better yet find what you didn't know you always needed. Not a huge selection of any section but like all thrift stores you may or may not "strike gold" at every visit. I did find a small/compact ironing board with a cover and legs for only $2. Could have found more stuff if the rest of the Rinky family weren't waiting in the car. Nice staff very welcoming. read more

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the bay area. it's a pretty good sized store and there is SO much stuff everywhere. There's so much stuff it can be hard to look through but if you have an afternoon to kill and you love thrift store shopping this is a good place to do so. I found a ton of vintage children's books, some old movies and a Star Wars Christmas album that sells for $30 used on Amazon! A great place to find cheap furniture, though the stock varies. You have to check back every week or so. I go there for pieces to upcycle. Less selection on clothing than many thrift stores, but what they do have is generally in good condition. Decent shoe inventory. Larger than usual stock of games, for cheap.
