I didn't have much time to really check everything out or pick anything up but wow, definitely a hidden gem in Santa Clara. They've got almost every console and a huge HUGE selection of games. The staff here was super friendly and welcoming as well, and answered any questions we had regarding their stock/selection. I'm definitely swinging by again really soon. The selection here is absolutely incredible and I enjoy shopping here, but be sure to CHECK PRICES on eBay and Price Charting when you visit. A lot of games here are priced well over averages and without much reason (they will say it's condition but that's not always true). One example is Rush 2 here - they're asking $109 for the cart, that has a name written in marker, and box but actual prices with manual/cart/box online are $50-85. Onimusha Tactics is $180 here but Price Chart averages show $105 with a recent eBay sale for SEALED copy sold for $210 It seems they always price items based on the higher end of eBay and they will not budge too much when you ask. I've spent a good amount of money here and more than happy to support them and local stores but it really is unfortunate when some games are marked up over what I see online with the same sources they use You will definitely find things here you won't find at other stores as easily, but absolutely be aware of the prices. Shop here and support them but be aware of what you're paying for. Both Retro Fix and Game Shop are a lot more reasonable with their pricing read more

I had a great experience my first time here, I needed a battery replacement for my 3ds and the person behind the counter removed the old battery and installed a new one in no time and and price was outstanding. I didn't have to order something online or figure out how to take my 3ds apart on my own which was a huge relief. I also enjoyed looking around at all the consoles and games. When I have some extra cash I will be back to buy a GameCube and super Mario 64 since I am a retro gamer! read more

Here is a photo of a gameboy pocket I purchased from him and replaced the screen and shell. Always has great quality of items. Won't BS you. As a whole, the best game shop in South Bay with GREAT repair options. This shop is relatively new in the area and puts the others to shame when it comes to customer service. I've been about 4 or 5 times now, the staff goes above and beyond. Fair prices, knowledgeable staff that loves games, and excellent repairs! I had 5 GBA games with new batteries. Price was great, every cart worked, and even better it was done right on the spot! Just make sure to come on Saturdays when they get extra repair support from an off-duty hardware engineer. When it comes to customer service the shop is beyond! For example I had the tiniest issue with a Game Boy Color I had just purchased (my fault for not looking harder) and they offered to repair it AND gave me an identical device as a loaner! That's just one example and I have more! Shoutout to Abdul and Hussein! Beyond this, their selection is really interesting! Total joke. Came in to trade game boy color. It is in great condition with original box. No scratches and works great. Said it is not original I bought it brand new from game stop 22 years ago. Tried to low ball me on games and gameboy color. $80 for everything. Should be worth $150. Did the same crap when I traded in my hogwarts lagacy a few weeks ago. Guy even told me to bring in my gameboy color and they would give between $80and $100. They give you 50% of what it is worth. Gamestop gives you $45. They will give you $22.50. What a joke. Such a gem of a video game store! Upon entering, the shop was well lit and tidy. There were very cool figurines, an assortment of retro video game consoles (including a game demo set up that I have not seen in YEARS.. think 2000s Target / Walmart game department), and video games organized by console from wall to wall. I had called in to check if they had a Pokémon game I was looking for prior to arriving and luckily they did, and offered to hold it for an hour! I arrived and was helped by Huisain, who also walked me through how they determine what games are "counterfeit" and even opened up the cartridge for education! Wish I could give them 0 stars. Where do I even start? I don't know how these guys get any business with their outrageous prices and terrible trade in value. I've only been in there a few times at this point and haven't bought anything because every time I go, Im shocked at the asking prices compared to other stores and online. Let's say a game they have goes for $30 online. They'll have it priced closer to $50. And some, even higher than that. A game that's $50, they charge $85-90. And if you want an original box of a game that goes for $100 online? They'll have it at $200 lol. It's crazy people give them any business at all. They go off the highest price possible when they're selling something, and the lowest price possible when you're trading in something. Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of cool stuff. But the owner only cares about squeezing as much money as they can from customers. They don't even seem like gamers themselves, just resellers who bought a lot of products and opened up a store to take advantage of people who love games and collecting. Other stores in the area are run by gamers, for gamers with quality products at reasonable rates. Take your business anywhere but here. read more

I go in here every time I visit the aquarium store a few doors down. Every time has been pleasant in regards to the organized layout of the store and the friendly conversations from multiple workers here. They are always very welcoming when I come in even if just to check out what's new. I enjoy the nostalgia of seeing the games and consoles that I played when I was younger. For them being a newer store and small business, the prices are more than fair. A lot of their games are in PRISTINE condition too. Absolute joke. Read the reviews about everything being over priced and decided to check it out for myself. I couldnt believe what they were asking, some games were 50% above eBay sold listings. When you try and negotiate with the owner and tell him his prices are way above asking, he won't even budge a bit because everything in his store is "rare". Terrible store and greedy owner.
