This Save Mart has officially became my favorite!!!! So lately I've been having a hard time finding good produce . I needed some peppers & couple other thing's for my dinner. I went to a couple stores and the pepper's were extremely small and the other items I needed didn't look fresh. So I came here. It's been a while since I've been to this location. I was amazed at the produce section. It was so beautiful!!!! Fruit looked bright and plump. The peppers were nice & big . Everything was well organized & looked fresh. As I walked around the store I was very impressed with how everything looked. Very clean, well organized. Easy to find what your looking for. The deli looks so fire!! Especially the chicken. I definitely need to come back and try . Excellent customer service!! I forgot to get the name of the lady that checked me out , but she had a nice warm smile and was nice to talk to . I have been a Save Mart customer at various locations for many years and this location in particular for the past 3 or so years. First off, the parking lot and store exterior are always kept clean and the carts are brought back up regularly so they don't collect out by the cars. The interior of the store is also kept pretty much spotless. I have never seen any dirt, collected dust, or anything concerning at all. The store has a great selection in all of the departments. The produce is always kept up and looks great. I don't typically buy fresh fish here, but walking by the counter everything looks good there, and they always seems to have a good standard array. The meat counter is similar, and they also have a variety of pre-seasoned meats and such. They also have the grill there where they will cook for you - I have never used that, but it is cool to have there. All of the other departments are on point. My only criticism would be staffing at checkout. With the self-checkouts, there are fewer checkout aisles open, and those tend to get some pretty decent lines forming. I understand that adding self-checkout was a business decision to have the ability to reduce staffing, but at the same time, I would like to see them be a little more proactive with calling up additional staff when the lines form. And it is not just about how many people are in line, it is about what or how much they have to check out. (Meaning 4 people with 3-4 items each versus 1-2 people with overflowing carts to check out should be taken into consideration.) This is no way will prevent me from shopping here, just a note. The manager Adam is the absolute worst! He knows that I am the one who complained about the bathrooms. Now when he sees me in the store he looks the other way. Clerks are helpful, but I wish they were like Raley's who offer help out especially when you have heavy stuff.

I have been trying for days to get assistance from their customer service regarding not being able to access my account. I have emailed them, called them and left a message and even spoke to one extremely rude individual who kept telling me it was my error and I was not signing in correctly which is absurd as I sign in to my APP and website the same every time and now it won't work nor can I seem to get any assistance from them. Very poor customer service, I guess they think they have enough customers so they don't need me so I should find somewhere else to shop where they actually treat customers with respect as this company does not. They do not enforce the mask mandate but encourage the customers to take care of it. They say you can either confront the customer or call the corporate office. NEITHER of these options is helpful to the business or to the customers, who will just end up fighting. And then in the end you go to a cashier who can't even be bothered to stop their conversation with coworkers to greet you or be pleasant. Is it just me or do u hate it when cashiers throw ur food. The food your going to eat. They treat it like trash being thrown aside. It really bugs me. Not only does it bother me it ruined a few products like the fruit and vegetables I buy get bruised. I wish they would treat my food like it should be not thrown like trash it grosses me out. I noticed on more then one occasion the cashiers are having their own conversations with other employees and ignore that im standing in front of them not even a hi just a total. I shop here frequently for my job. I was headed for the yogurt fridge and a girl ( taller brown curly hair, brown eyes was restocking) I reached into the cooler to grab some yogurts and there was a cell phone laying on top of the yogurts ( no joke) I told her "Someone left their cellphone in the fridge". Save Mart is somewhat expensive, but I came to this one just for House Foods brand tofu. For some reason, I can't get it in Manteca, although I haven't tried all three Save Marts in the area yet. Anywhere else in the country, Walmart has it but not here, and it's a circus in Walmart anyway. This store wasn't bad and it didn't take long to find the tofu and they had a variety of types within the House Foods brand, which was extremely helpful. The only problem was that much of it was about to reach the expiration date. Maybe there just aren't enough Asians in the vicinity? The cashier seemed almost unhappy with my purchase and asked "Is that all?" in an unhappy tone of voice. I guess I'll look closer to home and find some. read more

Can you please get a better selection of fresh cheeses and meats? Sometimes I can't even find fresh mozzarella. Went here with my mom and our frenchie pup . I have high functioning anxiety and have my dog registered as a service animal which I have documentation to back up on that he is a service dog for me. I have to have him at all times by my side . When me and my mom walked into the store we were told by the manager or assist manager who wears glasses with bald hair. That we weren't allowed to have my frenchie dog inside the store and in the store carts . When we never had a problem with this situation before whenever we would take my pup with us to be by my side due to me having high functioning anxiety. The manager or assistant manager was really rude and told me that I had to put my dog back in my moms car and leave the store knowing that my dog is registered within the state as a service dog for me to have allowed in stores that is DISCRIMINATION ! because I have a mental illness disorder! The manger or assistant was really rude and kept harassing me and my mom in the store to see if we were going to put my registered emotional support dog back in the car . Never once have we had this issue before with the save mart staff ! They have no signs in the store saying that there is no dogs allowed in the carts or in the stores again that is considered discrimination due to me having a mental illnesses with high functioning anxiety !!!!!! Despite reviews I went ahead with this Savemart bakery since it's so conveniently close. I will never again be ordering a cake from here. I went in to purchase 3 cakes. 1 for a certain date and two others for a party a week later. The smash cake I ordered for my daughter's photoshoot was made the exact opposite of what I requested. I asked for a white frosted cake with purple trim. They gave me a lavender frosted cake with white trim. I let it go since I was pinched on time to get to the photo studio. A week later my husband went in to pick up the two cakes I ordered for my son and daughter's birthday party as I waited in the car with the kiddos. I ordered one smash cake and a 1/4 sheet. It was awfully windy that day. He carried the smash cake out on top of the bigger one, not realizing it was left open. As soon as he walked out the smash cake lid blew open causing it to catch wind and nearly fall to the ground. My husband caught it from falling with his chin. With a face full of frosting, he took the cake back in and they tried fixing it. I don't understand why they wouldn't seal the boxes shut. All it needed was a small strip of tape in the front. Would have helped avoid this incident. Then my husband finally makes it to the car and I open the smash cake to look. Not only did it get messed up but they got my order wrong. The decor I requested wasn't what they put on the cake. I couldn't believe they messed up yet ANOTHER cake! The 1/4 sheet was a green sports cake and the smash cake was supposed to have a floral print. They made the smash cake identical to the 1/4 sheet. I was really upset and wanted to go back in but we had to head out to the party and it wouldn't have been resolved in time anyhow. I was very specific and clear with the baker who wrote down all my orders. I showed and explained to her the exact way I wanted my cakes. Unfortunately she didn't create the correct description on the order form or the one who made it didn't follow direction well. Do not take a chance on this place. How can they mess up not one, but two cakes within a week. It's not even worth the disappointment the day of your event. They have lost my service and I will recommend anyone I know to stay away from this bakery. read more
