DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Worst car maintenance I've ever gotten, lost my and my companies future business. Save your money and your car! Do not use this company. I got an oil change done there, the service tech caused a crack in the oil pan, get 30 miles down the road and my engine blows, the store manager told me the Mavis tech was at fault. Their district manager gets involved and all the sudden upon reviewing video footage (doubtful unless they have a camera under the car) "they followed proper procedures and they wouldn't cover the damage" They made nothing right with me. The district manager is just trying to cover their asses because they screwed up. Don't worry Mavis, attorneys will contact you soon enough, I'm sure there are more people who have received damage who would love to join the lawsuit. read more

I was driving down I-16 on a Sunday when I encountered a flat, which really sucked. I changed to a spare there and loaded up the flat in the trunk hoping to get it fixed. The next morning I went a Toyota dealer that wanted way too much for a new tire because they could not patch it. I then went right down the road to Savannah Tire where they also could not patch it, but was able to sell me a mismatched tire for a lot less than Toyota wanted. So I figured what the hell, I could drive with a mismatch tire for a few years before buying a new set. The staff at Savannah Tire was friendly and got my tire changed; it did take a while, but all in all it was good service. read more

I stopped in the day prior a hour before closing trying to squeeze in and get an oil change. Mr. Bacon stated that he wouldn't be able to serve me but I could schedule something for the following day. Mr. Bacon also told me to give him a call the day off and we could try and make something work since I worked until 5. I called around 9:00 am looking for a 11 or 11:30 appointment and sure enough he worked me into the schedule. I came in ten minutes early and I was able to check-in. The appointment took a hour, but while I waited the staff allowed me to heat my lunch in their office. When everything was finished. Mr. Bacon applied a coupon to my service, gave me estimates for future work, and looked into my file for previous work. The staff that did my oil change parked my car at the entrance and I was ready to go. Overall the repair shop deserved an A. Great service (Thank you Mr. Bacon), efficient, excellent bathroom, and my car was in the same condition in which I started. Pitfalls, none to name unless you are in a crunch for time. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone of my friends co-workers or anyone. I had an appt set at 11am called early in the morning to confirm and insure it was all set for that time. Only for me to arrive 5 mins early and get told that there's a 2 hour wait because of couple of vehicles where checked before me. Was told and I quote "it doesn't matter even with an appointment made." What kind of business does that? When I asked to just buy the tires off hand. I'm told they didn't even have the tires with them that it would arrive after 12. Don't know if that was a lie or anything. DO NOT COME HERE. They will not honor your appointment. read more

I cannot say enough about the people working at this shop. Sam and Durick absolutely saved me when my brakes went on 95. I made it to the shop, desperate for help while traveling alone. Not only did they work after hours to fix my car so I could continue my drive North to MA to be home with my children, but they made me feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while they worked with so many customers and vehicles. Great customer service at the Ogeechee Location! I had my car serviced at the Richmond Hill location about 6 months ago and long story short- they botched the service. I didn't realize it until the same problem occurred recently and I took it to the Ogeechee location, only because it was closer to home. I was treated by Warren Bacon and he made sure I was taken care. I arrived as a walk in on a Monday around 745am. I will say it's best to get there as early as possible. They open at 7am! If I would arrived just five minutes later, my wait time may have doubled. People seemed to flow in quickly closer to 8am. Once they diagnosed the problem, Mr. Bacon set me up with a problem later on in the week. He even made sure the same technician who diagnosed the problem would be the same one fixing it. Additionally, since I really couldn't afford the repairs, he gave me a discount, which was helpful. Anything is better than nothing. My great experience was definitely due to the care provided by Warren Bacon. read more

I took my car in, and they said it would be $4200 to replace my exhaust (on an '04 Honda CRV). They had replaced my alternator months earlier, they had to set me up with financing from GE capital, at a $1500 credit limit at the time. The man who called me on the phone actually told me to call the credit card company and ask for an increase in my credit limit. So he KNEW I couldn't afford this ripoff, and would have to finance it through a predatory lender. I then took it to discount muffler in Garden City, where they then fixed my muffler for $350, and ASSURED me it didn't need to be replaced. And if it did, it certainly wouldn't cost $4200. A great place. They were fast and fair. We are from out of town and needed our tires balanced and rotated. They quoted a fare price and there were no surprised.
