Apparently, I didn't post my review last year and just noticed on my most recent visit. A few months ago I and posted this to Google: I needed an oil change and new in city called a trusted name. From the call in my recliner to the service to me back on the recliner was less than two hours. The attendant took my info and keys then got to work. Basic mechanics lobby with tv and coffee. I read a book and chatted with a couple waiting for this quick service. I will definitely return! Well, I did and the return visit was not as efficient but I felt the service was still great. It seems they are a bit short on mechanics and I ended up there three hours for an oil change. read more

To say I've had bad luck with my car since moving to Savannah would be an understatement. After having my battery tested at AutoZone down the street, the staff actually recommended I take my car to Precision. I'm so glad I did. Everyone at Precision is incredibly friendly, takes the time to thoroughly assess any issues, explains what's going on, and usually gets to work on repairs right away. There was a time when I brought my car in every week for a month trying to solve the mystery of my car alarm going off randomly every day. Through it all, they've been extremely patient, fast, and efficient. I never once felt like I was being overcharged--they are very reasonable with pricing. So far, I've had several things done: a battery piece repaired, a new hood latch installed, an oil change, a noise diagnosed as a rusted muffler, multiple tests to find out why my car alarm kept going off, and several patient phone calls to discuss issues. I want to give a special shout-out to Kelly--he's always so patient and answers the phone with a great attitude, no matter the issue. Honestly, if you're having car problems, take it to Precision. Needed an emergency oil change as I was about 500 miles from home. I already had damage to my hood that needed repaired so I hadn't tried to open the hood. Went to another shop and they couldn't open it. I was almost in tears as I was in another state and all by myself. I went to Precision, one of the few open places on the weekend. They immediately worked to open my hood and then gave me the oil change within 10 minutes. I added extra services because the prices were so inexpensive! So they only charged an extra $5 for my half synthetic oil, which would cost so much more anywhere else. read more

Fast, friendly service. Seems to be very honest as well. Only complaint (and still giving 5 stars) is one reason I chose this place was because I have a car careone credit card - and on their website it said this location took that card. When I was there and tried to check out, I asked the girl at the desk and she said she was unsure. She tried to run it on the credit card machine (after I told her you have to do it online) and then said they must not take it and made me pay with a different card, rather than checking with someone else. We've been regulars for years and through many cars. Usually, we have the best service! Today was very different! Both my husband and I spoke with the employees about getting our car fixed. Jesse told my husband and myself the day before that it would be no problem to just bring the car in the next day and it would be $60 and only take 30-45min. So today my husband brought our car in only to be told no that they weren't going to work on it now! That they wouldn't do it at all. So I gave them a call, in the MIDDLE of talking to him he puts me on hold! At first, I thought he had just hung up on me but no just put me on hold WHILE I was talking. After 5 minutes on hold another employee picks up without introducing himself. So, I tried to explain myself again only to be cut off! The manager then proceeds to say I'm sorry mam I don't know what you are talking about I'm not who you were talking to before, I'm the manager- Hurty Anderson. I told him that Jesse new what was going on and that if either one if them would let me finish speaking then maybe we could all figure it out. He barely listened and then gave us a different excuse than Jesse! Hurty said that they didn't have the equipment to do it, which Jesse had already said it was no problem the day before. When I tole him that, he proceeded to give me the 3rd excuse of the day... they didn't have time but they did before so I'm not buying it! Hurty continued to interrupt me and not listen to me at all. I got very upset because talking over a customer is no way to treat one! this is when Hurty said that Precision would not be able to help us at all! WOW! Ive been a customer for years and today they just didn't feel like doing their job! When I asked for the bosses number, Hurty said that he didn't have a boss and that he was the boss. Again, going there for years, I knew this wasn't the case! I had to call back again, Hurty then gave me the 1800 number to corporate but refused to give me his boss' name. I called back again for the fourth time. Very frustrated, I told Hurty that I knew he wasn't the boss and said someone has to sign his check so who was his boss please! Finally, he gave me the name of Kelly Frick the owner and said he would be into work tomorrow so bet your bottom dollar I will be in the office first thing to speak to the owner! read more

I brought my car in with an anti-freeze leak, and was told after a cursory look that it's probably the water pump. Then with absolutely no attempt to contact me with a quote or get my authorization they went ahead and replaced a hose instead. A few days later, I see that I'm still leaking anti-freeze, and again I'm told that it's the water pump. It turned out that both I had leaks in both the hose and the water pump, but they only fixed one of them the previous week. By their own admission, what they should have done the FIRST time is to 1) test the leak, 2) replace the hose, and 3) test it again. Instead, I had to go out of my way twice because they can't do their job right. On top of that, I was never given a proper estimate for the water pump. I was only given a rough approximation, which ended up being half as much as they eventually charged! I call that being cheated, and I'll never go back for so much as an oil change. These folks strike me as both dishonest and incompetent. read more

THE WORST FUCKING SERVICE EVER!!! I arrived at Precision Tune Auto Care in Savannah, GA at around 7:50 am on Saturday February 23, 2019...thinking that I would get there a bit early before their posted opening time of 8:00 am...but when I got there the parking lot was full, seemed everyone had the same idea. However, I walked to the door and joined the line of people, there were 2 people in front of me...all of sudden I noticed that at 8:00 am, 8:05 am, 8:10 am....we were all still standing outside, because no one was there. I was told by some other people that this was normal, and that the staff would probably have an attitude. Well it was about 8:20-8:30 am before someone finally came to open up and when this male employee walked up to the door, a customer greeted him with a "Good morning" to which he didn't respond, which is rude. Then all of a sudden the employee shouted to all of us "You don't have to get your oil changed here, you can go somewhere elese, today was my off day, and my owner just called me to come in!" I was like "what the fuck kind of customer service is this?" I thought about just going somewhere else, but I had already driven an hour from statesboro because I have a Precision Tune Auto Care credit card. Anyways, I was just angry from that point, but I dropped my car and came back in about an hour. When, I pulled out my credit card the same rude ass employee sighed and rolled his eyes and told me "the next time you come in you have to let me know beforehand if you have one of these credit cards!" as though I was some child he was berating. I told him that I "there will be no next time, as I am NEVER coming back to this location" and response was "I feel you". Just the WORST customer service ever...they need to either build another Precision Tune Auto care in Savannah and hire BETTER employees or close that one because the employees, and probably the manager who hired these fools, and allows this type of service SUCKS. I have been a customer of this brand for years, and this is the first location that I have dealt with this type of gutter trash customer service. I will never return here and will just drive the hour and a half to Augusta, GA where they have professionals working there and not a bunch of urban delinquents. read more

I have been taking my car there to be serviced since I bought it at first things were fine this last oil change was done improperly because my car has been leaking oil ever since I call no one picks up or leaves me on hold Until I hang up seems unprofessional to me anyway I won't make the same mistake twice hope this helps someone from making the same mistake. I had a issue with one of my work vehicles fuel pump going out and was in dire need to get that commercial vehicle fixed and back on the road. Hurty worked his tail off to figure out the issues the vehicle had and even came in on his daughters birthday to get it fixed for us! I will be forever grateful and loyal to Precision Tune Auto Care. I just dropped off another van to be worked on and its nice to know I do not have to worry about it getting fixed and the cost is very affordable. This is a shop that I know prices out the work accordingly, does solid top tier work! HIGHLY recommend using this shop. The group that they have are not replaceable. Hurty I hope you see this because words can not describe how grateful I am for all you do!! I want everyone to go through this shop and see for yourself how great they treat their customers!!!!
