Service was good-- I asked the waiter to suggest what he liked and it was a good salad! He recommended I have some protein with it, but I didn't take him up on that. Kinda regretted it, but that's not his fault. It was a nice dining experience, but the tables had a weird brown paper on top of the cloth. I didn't know if that was typical or to prevent stains and spills.

Came in for lunch with co workers. Really nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and hospitable. We ordered short rib grilled cheese, celestial chicken and chefs burger. And we each took a slice of strawberry ice cream pie homeEverything was good. Cooked and presented well. Will return.

I didn't even know the Georgia Center had restaurants. I came here with my friend and her family, and having never been here and celebrating a special occasion, we went all out. They have a limited variety of wine (no moscato), but can make cocktails and cocktails. Also, as a PSA they have seasonal menus so what I ordered today might not be on yours. To start, we ordered the truffle fries and they were so good!! As a fries lover, I highly recommend this if it's on the menu. For my entree, I got the salmon risotto which was flavorful and perfectly paired with each other. For dessert, we got the chocolate cake and bread pudding which were so good, but couldn't finish because of how full I was. Our server was super nice as well!! Overall, it surpassed my expectations and I would bring family and friends here if they stayed at the hotel.

The Savannah Room staff goes out of its way to accommodate the guests. The food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. They have been very responsive and accommodating to our 1963 UGA Baseball & Payne Hall Reunion Group for the last 25 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Tom "Boot" Hunt- UGA Class of 1963

My family of four including myself had reservations Saturday night at the Savannah Room. Each of us had a different entree with the brussel sprouts and fried green beans as appetizers. The meal was wonderful. My daughter and her husband just returned from their honeymoon abroad and both commented this was the best meal they have had in a month even though they honeymooned on the French Riveria and in NICE. Aiden our server and Manager Mike were attentive and made our experience that much special. Way to go Savannah Room!

Food is awful, it's like eating in a cafeteria. Too expensive for what you get in the buffet. Very disappointing for Easter Brunch.

The food: I went with the Fried Chicken Blue Plate. Between the regular and the Nashville Hot, the Nashville was the winner--flavorful and moist without being overwhelming with the spice. Huge shoutout to my server for suggesting the brussel sprouts; that glaze is incredible and they were easily my favorite part of the plate. The mashed sweet potatoes were unique--I'm still debating if I liked them or loved them. The jalapeño cornbread was a bit sweet for my taste but on par with most restaurant cornbread. The mac & cheese wasn't bad, but also didn't do much for me like most restaurant mac & cheese. The cocktail: Do not sleep on Nana's Naissance. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ingredients, but it's like an elevated take on Rumchata. The service: I was seated at the bar and experienced a noticeable delay--a group that arrived well after me almost finished their meal before mine arrived. However, the waitress acknowledged the wait before I even had to mention it and made things right. I really appreciate that kind of proactive service. We're all human, and they handled the situation very professionally.

Friendly professional service, our server was very nice and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we had a nice dining experience. Great food options, with a lowcountry inspiration. The menu is lowcountry focused and the food is executed beautifully. We started with a dozen of the local oysters, they were fresh, sweet and delicious, a solid start. After giving the menu a good perusal, my dinner companion went for the evenings special. The evening special was, shrimp and crab ravioli. This is a generous portion of nicely prepared ravioli's filled with a sweet succulent crab and then whole shrimp in a rich cream sauce. Presented simple and clean, she said it was delicious, and my sampling of it was just that. Pan seared red fish over etufee was my choice, again a very good meal. A nice serving of perfectly cooked Red fish mixed over a generous portion of etufee. Spicy, succulent, full flavored. It was a really solid selection and very good. A couple sides to go with our entrees, the mashed potato and brocolli, both were done well, simple and tasted good as you would expect. The biscuits, oh those biscuits. The biscuits were a great addition. All in all a solid dining experience and well worth the effort, good lowcountry food done well. As well reservations are recommended especially on the weekends. 4 Stars - recommended 01075

A counter-service venue, the food was typical breakfast fare that came out very quickly. While I enjoyed it overall, I feel like there are opportunities to improve the customer experience. I will elaborate. First, the ordering and paying experience is a little awkward and difficult if you're with a group. The process is that the first person orders but doesn't pay. Instead, they step to the side and the next person orders, but also doesn't pay. Then when you get to the last member of your group they can both order and pay. Once everyone has order, you need to each go back to the register to pay. This seems very odd and redundant. I've been to plenty of counter service restaurants with friends but this is the only spot I've come across with this methodology. We had four members in our party and after finally ordering and paying we all commented on how peculiar this was. Second, there seemed to be no specific staff watching the dinning section for the purposes of refilling drinks, removing dishes or whatever else needed to be done. I had to wait quite a long time for my first refill of water. And then when I needed a second refill I finally got fed up of waiting and simply poured it myself. I feel like there are multiple solutions to this issue. The one I would suggest is simply make water, coffee, drinks, self serve. Personally, I am more than happy to get my own drink and not have to worry about waiting on my server. On the plus side, the food was great. I loved the peach French Toast. I also felt like the portions and prices were very reasonable. I'd say it was a positive experience with room for improvement. I'd visit again.
