Great service round trip from long beach to LAX. Picked up on time 5:30 am. Nice ride to terminal. On return our plane landed on time 11:30 pm and was delayed getting to the gate 30 min. After researching the best way to get from the Long Beach Airport to Laguna Beach I chose Sav-on based on the price and the Yelp reviews. The entire experience could not have been smoother! We were a party of four (ranging in age from 12 to 80+) so making stops along the route ala the Super Shuttle was not for us nor was paying the $130.00 they charged for their direct service. Savon charged only $85.00 (spent the savings at the many art fairs in Laguna!) John (the owner) met us within minutes of our arriving at the Ground Transpportation area which was wonderful considering our flight arrived about 15 minutes early. He loaded us up and off we went. As others have noted John enjoys talking with the passengers. He pointed out points of interest along the way, answered questions, had us laughing all while driving very smoothly (VERY important as one person in our merry little party suffers from motion sickness). Should also note that the van was clean and cool. When we arrived in Laguna we immediately booked John for our return trip to the airport which was a repeat of the above...if only I could say the same thing about our JetBlue flight to SFO... read more

We used Sav-on Shuttle for the first time to get us to and from LAX (worst airport) in the free world) to our home in Long Beach. Their prices beat all others; they picked us up at our home on time; and we called them after retrieving our bags and waited about 5 minutes for the 'white van' to show up. I came to Yelp to read up on reviews. I worried my shuttle would be late and prepared to have a backup. My pick up time was 8:15am, but was changed to be earlier - 8:05am from a LAX (as requested). I arrived 15 minutes early and the driver was already sitting and waiting there. I was his first pick up. We departed from LAX perfectly on time and headed to pick up the next person. Had a later flight after our cruise, so at John's suggestion we scheduled a 1:00 pick up so we could go explore the Queen Mary and Downtown Long Beach. Would have been a great idea, but we came back to a very rainy day. Asked if we could be picked up earlier and John was waiting for us when we got off the ship. So this is a review of Stacy and this business. I usually use Uber and or Lyft but in this case I had too many people in my party in my house that I needed a shuttle. I was a little skeptical but the price was right especially the service! I use them for picking us up and bringing us to Los Angeles International Airport. The time was even more critical. They picked up a party of 8 at 4 a.m. in the morning! They were on time and they were there even early. They rang our doorbell at the stroke of 4 a.m. and they were very reliable. All the luggages or placed in the van seamlessly and the drive was nice and safe. After 7 days Stacy asked me about my return trip. I informed her about a return trip and confirm via text and they were able to pick me up on time at Los Angeles International Airport and went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this service especially Stacy. I felt very safe with her driving as I had my whole family with me. She was nice and pleasant and also quiet when she needed to be since I was on my phone trying to contact family members. If you are in doubt ask for Stacy since she's very reliable when it comes to time and communication. I gave her tip because time was critical for us and she made us early to our flight. read more

After an 8 hour international flight, all my family and I wanted to do was go home. There were 9 of us and over 20 pieces of check in luggage and carry on bags. We've used this transportation company in the past, in fact we used them when we left LAX 9 days prior. For our departure transportation, they sent 2 15 passenger vans to accommodate all the passengers and luggage. For our arrival, they sent only 1 15 passenger van. Our bags fit, however, 3 in our party had to take an Uber just to get home. The owner, John, was completely unapologetic. He said he would send another van but it would arrive in 45 minutes. He suggested the 3 in our party that would be left behind to get a taxi but he didn't offer to cover the expense of the additional transportation. Mind you, if they had planned accordingly we wouldn't have to bear the additional expense. This is the second time this happened. The first time was last December and we were told it would never happen again. On top of everything else, our driver didn't even offer to help load our bags and provided no solutions. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Expect to be disappointed if you use their service. read more

5 star family service. Got our family of 9 to and from the airport to our Disneyland area hotel. Plenty of space for us all and luggage/strollers. Had two carseats included. Will use this company any time we return to the area and highly recommend them. Thank god i found Sav-on shuttle days before my trip. I originally booked with Prime Time Shuttle for roundtrip service during my stay in Los Angeles but i cancelled with them immediately after i read all the horrible reviews. Going to LAX, my driver picked me up 15 minutes late from my hotel. At least she called ahead of time to let me know she was running late. The van was clean and roomy. The drive from downtown LA to LAX was less than 30 minutes, we rode on the carpool lane so we got there pretty quick. I was very pleased. The driver was very nice and friendly. I will definitively use them again the next time i visit LA. I would seriously recommend them if you don't want to deal with Super Shuttle & Prime Time Shuttle. read more

We used Sav-On Shuttle to get from Long Beach Airport to the Carnival cruise port near the Queen Mary. 4 of our party left on a Sunday, I came in Thursday and we all went back the following Sunday. John was fantastic, even dropping us off at the beach Thursday in between cruises as it was the end of his morning route and on the way back home for him (free public bus right back). Only shuttle company I found that had car seats and they still had the best price. They run direct between destinations with no side trip pickups. read more

The driver didn't say two words to me until we were at the airport and then tried to charge me full price instead of the discount that the dispatcher told me I would receive. Great on-time service! I was so impressed with Sav-On Shuttle. Our departing flight was at 8:00 a.m. out of LAX. Our driver was at our door at 5:00 a.m. giving us plenty of time to get to the airport. Upon our return to LAX at 11:50 p.m. our driver Arthur contacted us and immediately picked us up. I made an online reservation roundtrip and called to confirm the reservation. I never received a response. I arranged for another shuttle; however, I did not realize that the driver who came first was from Sav-On since he never identified himself. I emailed Sav-On to confirm that my return reservation was cancelled. I never received any sort of apology for their lack of response. Just a request for very curt request for payment.
