I brought my son here to try something new and I am so happy I did! The food is delicious and they have great customer service! There was only one person working and he was fantastic, kind and attentive! I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and customer service to match. I'll definitely be back!

Kinda felt like I was in the twilight zone. It's a great concept however it was an hour ordeal and we left not quenching our hunger. While it's a chipotle style Indian restaurant ... there was a line with one employee helping while what I assume the owner or manager just walking behind helping no one doing her own thing.... And taking food from the front to back to in a pan??? Just a weird feeling being in there. Seriously we were all waiting FOREVER. We got 2 meals and it was $30.00, no leftovers so kind of a waste? There is nothing better than lunch the next day. All in all, I'd rather skip this place in the future and sit down to eat where it doesn't take me 20 minutes to make a bowl and be ignored by the other employees. It was just a super super weird feeling being in there. Oh and A make shift office on one of the tables out front with a Full on desktop computer. Just a random bizarre outing I'd rather not experience again :(

Great spot for a quick delicious tasty homemade Indian food. If you never been it's a must . The Mango Lassi & cilantro/onion Naan bread is a must.

Finding authentic, delicious VEGAN Indian food isn't always the easiest; so when my hubby and I stumbled upon Saucey Bombay, we knew we would be coming back! Walking in, the owner, Marshall was extremely welcoming! He walked us through the process (chipotle style) and even let us TRY BEFORE WE BUY the various DELICIOUS sauces! This was the key to us falling in love with this place! The flavors are so authentic and delightful! It was one of the best meals we had in Denver! You will NOT regret it, we promise!!

Their naan is brobdingnagian! (as Jonathan Swift would have said:).

Every restaurant's goal on Yelp: Get rated at 4 stars or above. Every customer and every owner knows this. Some places that have a reliable clientele and have been around forever probably don't care whether they live in 3 star Yelp-ville. New restaurants like SB aren't those kinds of restaurants. (Although its sister restaurant in Cherry Creek, the Bombay Clay Oven, has been around forrrrever:). And there are some things about SB that are indeed 4 star-worthy. The freshly made naan rocks. The Vindaloo and Kadai sauces are absolutely fan-worthy. And the employee who served me when I was there was very cordial, professional and kind. There are however some 3 star things about SB that others have noted. The Saucy Bombay's food lacks some of the traditional spice that the dishes it serves traditionally have. Maybe that's a health-oriented intention. Don't know. The prices are on the high side for what you get. While the naan's worth it, a scoop of lamb and beef for lunch would cost you around $15 or more, and since everything's ala carte we're not even talking about getting naan with that. That would be another $1.50-$2.50 depending on the type of naan you ordered. The other sauces weren't to my taste; either too bland or not sufficiently rich or full enough in body. Bottom line, I'll probably go there again when in the mood for a quick good but not great hit of Indian food but this won't be a regular spot for me. Nonetheless, try it out and see what you think. Tried for lunch while visiting our friends. Such an amazing concept. Think Chipotle, but with Indian food. Marshall, the person working was wonderful. He explained the concept and let us sample before we made our final decisions. They have a good range of mild and spicy, but most dishes were on the milder side. The quality of the ingredients were fabulous. The flavor is okay, seemed a little toned down to cater to everyone. I got the bowl with rice as a base with korma and tikka masala sauce. We also had a chicken samosa and cheese naan which were equally as wonderful. Also try the mango lassi! I enjoyed my meal and was full by the end. I would recommend and be back!

Frankly I think this problem needs to be escalated*. I order Green Chef every week and I'm on the verge of quitting because of this missing/wrong ingredient problem. This week was pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back: they sent an entirely wrong set of ingredients for a meal we did not order, but LABELED as the meal we did order. WHAT? If you count on them for meals, it is TERRIBLY annoying to have missing or completely wrong ingredient, especially when they are ingredients that we can't just run out and get locally. When I subscribed to Sun Basket and then Blue Apron, it was very, very rare that I was ever missing an ingredient. *They do issue a refund when ingredients are missing, but that's not the point.

They have very soothing spa music playing (a little odd, but also charming). You can see that the owners probably did their own repairs and upgrades. We ordered cocktails and saw that they used top shelf alcohol. The food was very flavorful. Not the Indian flavors that I'm used to, but delicious. The tandoori chicken pieces were massive and they did not skimp on the sides of rice like other Indian restaurants. The garlic naan was paper thin like a roti and infused with so much garlic! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She carefully made both our cocktails and when we complimented her, she was humbled and honored. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, tossed in a savory, spicy sauce with plenty of fresh peppers and onions.
