This is my husband's favorite spot so of course I had to leave a review! To begin, there is no set wine menu - you let the staff/bartender know what your preferences are and they will offer you a taste of some options. I prefer white wine or orange wines and there were some good selections available. There is a food menu which is limited but delicious. The grilled cheese is so good and I will be getting a charcuterie board on my next trip to sauced after watching it lovingly prepared last time! The yard is also incredible! A+ read more

I am a regular customer and I highly recommend this bar. Great service, the best wine and the food is also great. I also highly recommend that the guy who works in the kitchen shaving meat smoke some good sativa. Maybe if he did maybe he wouldn't be violently rude to people who may not be perfect and forget their mask when they go to the loo but are doing their best to be a good, considerate person who watches out for their fellow humans on a daily basis. Thank you! :) read more

Cool spot if you are in the backyard. Wine and food was fine but people that work here are super rude. Service is also super slow. Please don't give your customer attitude for not liking your selection of wine you picked out. Also, trying to get the check should not take 30 minutes... Been here 3 times because it had a cool vibe but not going back after not so good service last two times. read more

An uncut gem in an usually overpriced neighborhood. Sauced stands up next to any high end place in the area, a vibrant staff, interesting menu and good wine selection. Easily one if my new favorite go to spots!!! #good. read more

Wow. This place is something else. Take someone special. Or, don't take anyone and keep this spot as your best kept secret. Great ambiance, killer playlist (everything from biggie to queen and a bunch of random shit in between), plenty of seating and dope, super intimate hideouts in the back. Don't come expecting a menu. Tell Vincent what you like and -- from sparkling to cab -- he'll serve up some of his best natural wines. read more

over priced wine, this glass of wine was $20, the place it's cute but there is better places to go visit around williamsburg and greenpoint. read more

Sauced - sparking wine - Wine Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

After making a positive review on here for them, about how cute the backyard was and the wine selection, I checked my visa and noticed I was charged twice. I emailed them, it bounced back. I dmed them on Instagram and they said they would look into it and I kept following up and there was no response. They would read my msg and no response. To the point I just had to dispute it with my credit card. So just be warned if you go there to double check your CC. read more

This is the most unfortunate review I've had to write. Please be warned that the otherwise pleasant atmosphere and the vibe are ruined by awful customer service and a complete lack of price transparency. When asked if I could browse their menu/ wine list I was rudely told that they don't have a menu because "we have over two hundred bottles of wine." I've been to restaurants with over a thousand bottles and they manage to fit them in a cohesive menu. Seems to be the bare minimum when you run a wine bar, no? This would have only been a minor inconvenience if the waiter wasn't arrogant and rude and made us feel completely ignorant when trying to order a bottle. Sorry, not everyone that walks in is a Sommelier. The worst part has to be the complete lack of price transparency. Because we weren't given a menu we had to go off of the waiter's recommendation and before we could ask about the price he had come back with an open bottle and started serving us. It was only when I settle the bill that I realized I had been given one of their most expensive bottles. To be completely honest this felt like a ploy: "It's a slow night, let's target the unassuming customer and charge them for one of our most expensive bottles." Two stars for the atmosphere. read more

Despite how trendy Sauced is, I left feeling disappointed. We arrived around 9P and were told there was no availability for an undisclosed amount of time. We walked by about 30 minutes later, saw people lining up, and got in shortly after that. The system for ordering wine needs work. You basically go up to a table in the middle of the inside where the walkway is, tell the servers what kind of wine you like as there is no menu, and then take what they give you. No prices or options are listed. It's way too noisy to really go back and forth, so I felt like I just had to take what was offered. People were also cutting line as there is really no organized line area, which added to frustration. Despite the line, servers were also walking off in the middle of serving to go do other tasks, causing even more buildup. I guess they also let too many people in, because there was nowhere to sit or hardly anywhere to stand. We ended up hunched together near a wall yelling back and forth due to the noise. The whole place is pretty narrow, so even standing around is challenging without feeling like you're in everyone's way. I imagine it's a nicer experience due off-peak hours, but I don't think the "personalized" wine concept really works with this space/noise level/lack of organization. Would try to come back but not on a weekend. read more

Amazing place with beautiful backyard. Great wine selection and very cool vibe! Food was very yummy too. I will definitely be back. read more

Really poor service and for that it's way overpriced. The servers and managers are incredibly rude and treat the guests like a nuisance. They were not only inattentive and slow but also made us feel unwelcome. Go somewhere else. Plenty of nice wine bars in the neighborhood that actually treat customers with respect. read more

Reco'd by a friend. Came here with my partner last night and sat in their backyard (which was super cute). Great atmosphere, and good apps but the real standout was our waiter Benjamin. Some of the best service I've received in a long time. He was knowledgable, attentive and made great suggestions especially The Sancerre which we loved. He really went above and beyond and I'd highly recommend a visit and to ask for Ben next time you do! Will definitely be back. read more

This place is SO cute! Their outdoor patio in the back has a really nice seating area and it's perfect for a summer drink spot.

This place is not POC-friendly. My friends and I were ignored every time we tried to place an order with preference being given to white customers who weren't even trying to order anything. Food and wine are also nothing to rave about -- we ordered the charcuterie which was a few pieces of salami and cheese on a Target plate lol. Williamsburg is already a sad, lifeless, self-obsessed gentrifier haven and this place makes it even worse. read more

A great concept but did not feel seen here whatsoever, I had to stare at the servers for a few minutes to get there attention. They were not attentive whatsoever and one of the gentleman who served me did a good job of explaining the concept and served me a few options which I then picked and later when my friend joined me, again, I had to wait over five minutes to get someone's attention and he did not share the origins of the wines we were trying and was rushing to not serve us, not sure if it was because we were on the few customers who looked visibly different or what. Don't recommend read more

It's a vibe. Too crowded to sit in the back patio but I really loved the vibey wine bar. They were playing hip hop indoors. Next time would love to try the smash burgers they were grilling in the back. read more

Worst service ever, my second time here is even worse than the first what a waste of a good place. Went here for the first time waited half an hour and no waiter came over. Came here a second time and a waiter came over at the beginning and never came back. Food looked great and wines are too but they dont give you the chance to try them! read more

Enjoyed a relaxing evening at Sauced. I was a fan of the "tell me what wine you like, and I'll hook you up", approach. Great vibes, good music and a cheese board for the record books. read more

Wine is great but they don't know how to run a restaurant. They were packed and then tried to manage crowds after people were being served. People would start fighting for tables, security guards yell at patrons for sitting in at an area that is "too" full. Music is too loud and can't hear my friends conversation only a few inches away. It seems the "servers" would only serve certain tables and not check in on everyone. When I walked up for a glass of wine they serve was not friendly. There is no menu and no way to know what you're drinking. Also they allow dogs which is not sanitary. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Biggest lesson for the place would be that good wine doesn't matter if there is no comfortable place to enjoy it. read more

Sauced is a lovely natural wine bar with chill vibes and knowledgeable crew. Thankful for their commitment to the community and welcoming environment. Great place to gather with your friends. read more

Finally a great place to drink great wines. Amazing atmosphere, great wines and sick music. (same owners than Loosie's & Etiquette) We tried one item of the menu and finished by ordering all of them. We will def come back, a must go in the Burg! read more

Sauced is hospitality... its beyond that, a little slice of vivant paris wine culture found in Williamsburg. The energy is strong, the crew handles service flawlessly while still having time to sit down and chat with you. The wine list is all about bottles versus margins. Damn what a spot. read more

This place might be fine during the week, but it was awful on a Friday night. The gimmick is that there's no wine list - you tell the bartender what you like, and they bring you something. That sounds fun if the place isn't crowded and the bartender can give you a few things to try. I went on a Friday night, though, and it was PACKED. It took 10 min to get the bartender's attention, so I just took whatever the 1st thing was that he poured. It was fine, nothing special. Never go here on a Friday or Saturday! read more

Went there a second time after a first bad experience with service. The owner invited us to come back and we had a whole different experience. Good wine selection and the place is cute. read more

really awesome space! several different seating areas indoors including a disco ball room in the back. the back patio is gorgeous and would be fun for a big group. nice wine selection! read more

My friend and I had the chance to visit sauced while looking for a spot to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. We walked past this place and decided to give it a chance! We didn't make a reservation but were able to find a table inside close to the entrance. They've got a very extensive selection of wine and how they let people pick is by you telling the waiter what types of notes you like and the price range - then they bring you something they think you'd like. Interesting but my friend didn't like his first selection so be sure to give them more information than not. When it came time for food we decided to do the cheeseboard as well as the focaccia bread. The bread was extremely tasty and the cheeseboard was a bit small but didn't disappoint. Overall this was a nice place for a chill glass of wine or a relaxing date night. They've got a huge outdoor area in the back that is good for groups as well. read more

What a horrible experience. Was brought here by a regular customer to an empty bar. The employee who served us off the bat was horrible and it didn't get any better throughout, interactions getting more unpleasant by the minute. Probably the rudest set of interactions I have ever experienced whilst being served. We gave him a shot to make it right and I do understand some wine bars can be slightly 'pretentious', however this was taken to another level. This server knows what he did, we spoke out with out concerns of his treatment. The bar owners should have a really hard look at this staff member. Happy to provide more in-depth details of the interactions. Do not go here unless you enjoy to be treated like rubbish by an angry, rude old bartender who will call you things and make assumptions about you to your face. read more

This place will not disappoint.. The look of this place is incredible. The food is obviously top notch. And workers were very kind and friendly. Go and try, you'll love it! read more

cool and intimate atmosphere, delicious wine, knowledgeable staff and they played great music the entire night. the only thing is i wish they had a menu and were transparent with prices. i understand that the servers suggesting wine is part of the experience but i would have loved to look through their entire selection and chose for myself, as well as being informed of the prices before the bill came. definitely a fun spot to check out for a date or night out with friends read more

The employees are angels and made a bad date with a rude and boring person bearable by interrupting enough to give me ok conversation. Also 100/10 wine read more

Cute wine bar in Williamsburg! I came here for drinks with a friend 2 months ago and will definitely be back again! They don't take reservations but luckily when I got there they had some open tables out front. They also have a really cute back patio with lights, family style tables as well as regular tables and high tops and wooden steps you can sit on with pillows and blankets surrounding a beautiful tree in the center. I asked our waitress if we could sit in the back and she let me know there was a wait but she could seat me in the front outdoor space and when a spot opens up she could move us to the back. Before we were halfway through our first glass our waitress let us know we could go to the back area. We also had to order food due to COVID and ordered the steak. We weren't expecting the steak to be that good since it was a wine bar but we were wrong. The steak was great and exceeded our expectations! Overall I had a great experience here and definitely recommend going and sitting in the back patio area. It's a great place to get together with some friends or a date! read more

Cozy nice wine bar. Nice private rooms and backyard. Cool management. The wine selection is great.

Was wandering around Bedford in this new normal dystopia and this place beckoned. Maybe it was the lanky chef with a tea towel tied around his noggin maybe it was the host with blue hair maybe it was the 2 Negronis I already had. We sat in a delightful backyard oasis with about 10 other people. Not overcrowded at all, obviously they're keeping the occupancy down. There's no wine list which is annoying but also who cares I never know what half those words mean anyway. We had a salty golden white from Jura which was really the color of a morning piss but was perfectly savory and followed that up with the best goddamn shisito peppers with like bonito flakes I think. And then a grilled cheese because I needed to lay a base down the night was young. Anyone complaining out vegan options or not being seated fast enough or not having their hair held back while they topple over a wine list is missing the point entirely. A place for old williamsburg- grown n sexy! Learn how to talk to your server man! Be a human! Breathe the night air! read more

I'm so happy to have this wine bar in my neighborhood! The outside patio is a beautiful, relaxing, welcoming space! It's a great place to meet friends for drinks during COVID because it's a large outdoor area with comfortable seats, pillows, and even a hammock chair! I couldn't be luckier to have this only a few blocks from my apt! I highly recommend the wine, food, and overall atmosphere! read more
