Not that they are hard, I just keep my same shape and get them cleaned up. My standard service is a Brazilian and Brow wax. I have been seeing the same waxer for about 8 years but unfortunately for me, due to motherhood and Covid she has closed her shop. So once again I was on the hunt for a new waxer. Finding someone to due a Brazilian is pretty easy. They just have to remove everything, so it's not really hard to mess up. Finding someone to do your brows and do them well, that's an art. I found this shop via Groupon. They were offering a $28 dollar deal for a Brazilian and a $28 deal for a full face wax. I bought both. After reading reviews (as any good yelper does) I didn't see any "Red Flag" warnings. The biggest thing that stood out was there was not a lot of reviews, but for the most part everyone was happy with the services they received. RED FLAG!!!!! This is your warning.... I called the shop for an appointment and was surprised they could get me in within the hour. I arrived at the shop and was greeted by an older woman named Sindi. She was nice and we chatted some. The shop was not clean, but it was passable. She started with the Brazilian and it hurt, but I knew that it had been almost a year since I had been waxed and although trimmed there was more growth than usual. So a little pain was expected. Then she moved on to the face... RED FLAG! RED FLAG! RED FLAG! The whole process, lip, chin, cheeks, and brows, was painful. I have pretty fine, short hairs from years of being waxed so it should not have hurt as much as it did. It wasn't until I got home and looked in the mirror that I realized what had happened...
