(I personally recommend not wasting your money on Daxxify.) I called them several times and asked for a refund. Eventually, they gave me another appointment for a Dysport treatment at no cost. But even after that, I still didn't get satisfying results. After all these injections and spending $500 just for my forehead, I personally do not recommend Ava Rejuvenation. After my first appointment, I intentionally started booking with other estheticians at this location, and those experiences were excellent. I never had any issues with pain or my skin. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not book with Emillee again.

At my last session, I was shown an empty syringe and told that everything had been used, but that did not match what I observed during the appointment. Rosalie had walked me through what to expect when I had originally reached out via email and text. Today I got to see everyone in person and it's great. Yasmin was the one who had room and numb me. Went over pre and post instructions. Showed her my inspo, she took some pics of my lips before and after. Nurse Michelle was my lip injector and she is as thorough as can be. Says if I want more and not satisfied with the results, come back to see her. I was so so scared. I work in Peds and give vaccines every day. She broke it down in a few syringes and was very gentle. The receptionist assured me everything was fine and told me to come in anyway, saying they would "work something out." After I arrived, I was told by the receptionist very rudely too there wasn't enough time to numb the area before my filler and that I would have to go through it without any numbing medication. I found that completely unacceptable. Their scheduling issue should never become the patient's problem, especially when it involves unnecessary pain. Only after I firmly objected then she suddenly decide they could numb the area after all. That tells me it was possible all along, but I had to argue just to receive the standard level of care. This entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and unprofessional. Canceling an appointment while a patient is already on the way, then asking them to accept a painful procedure because the office was behind schedule, is not how patients should be treated. I lived all over the bay area and southern california this past decade and loved them. Today's experience with the front desk reception is the final nail in the coffin for me to stop being a return customer. I saw there's plenty of small wax businesses with high reviews and for less than what EWC is charging. I never thought to look elsewhere because i was loyal to the brand. I didn't realize i was overpaying! first red flag was being asked if i completed my pre-wax survey and that it should be in my email in what felt like a rude tone. my waxer then came out and was ready for me and the receptionist held me from going until answering the questions - i get it that's fine but being held back from my appt has never happened to me before. my waxer was wonderful! a great experience. i don't want to minimize that the waxers are great there. afterwards the receptionist asked me to charge my card, i said the last 4 digits and normally that's not a problem and the last 2 times i was there at this location it worked fine. but for some reason, now the payment wasn't going through. we think it's the zip code and i ask is there a way i can just pay and update all that at a later time - i am so used to just being able to leave right after that i ended up being late to another appointment having to tap my phone and card several times and each time the machine stated approve but their systems said failed. i check my bank statement and there were 5 charges to my card - all the same amount. i hold up my phone to show them. this is now ~$700 in held pending transaction funds going into the weekend - its was 4pm on friday and banks close over the weekend. i honestly don't understand why i couldn't just tap a credit card like any normal transaction and be on my way - the woman at the reception really had me staying back asking me for my whole address to update instead of just letting me pay and leave! )-: ADVICE: Do not keep tapping your payment method when updating info or if they tell you the charge isn't going through, just ask to pay normally like at any other merchant as a one time charge. i really wish i advocated more when it didn't feel right to be tapping my payment so many times and seeing APPROVED across the payment machine. my appointment was at 3:30pm i was out at about 4pm on friday, may 15. there was only one receptionist at the front at the time. i didn't recognize her so maybe she was new but this experience just really tipped it all over for me. there's a lot of waxers in the area! i advise looking around before deciding on a large chain that has some customer service quality issues. EDIT: yes i have challenged the charges on my bank app already - i just don't have the time to call before lines close for the weekend and the experience over all with the higher prices made it feel like value didn't match spend.

I have found Kirsten to be knowledgeable, genial, courteous, punctual, AND highly effective. Her work environment is always spotless, filled with beautiful, softly playing music, gentle soothing scents, and quiet. When I came to Kirsten, I had profuse coarse hair on my checks, lips, and chin. I was having to shave daily and tweezing and plucking at will.. Though I'd been in electrolysis for several years with another, the progress that Kirsten has made in a year is "jaw dropping" and amazing. Might I add that amid the electrolysis being done, we manage to share quips and chuckles and speak of many things. From the depths of my heart, I thank Kirsten for bolstering my spirits through her proven treatment and care. I had nearly lost hope in finding an effective remedy for hair removal. HOPE RESTORED!! Their scheduling is often booked months in advance due to just how good they are! I have had services done by Beatriz and Danae. Both are very patient, kind, empathetic, and go above & beyond to be extremely accommodating. Electrolysis is not always comfortable or pain-free (especially if doing a Brazilian). Both will be sensitive to your needs: some sessions are done quietly (if you happen to be meditating through the procedure) or can strike up conversation to drive your attention elsewhere from the pain. Pro tip: invest in prescription numbing cream. Apply generously an hour before your procedure and place a plastic wrap to protect the numbing cream from being displaced everywhere. Pain may still be present, but largely reduced. When your procedure is done, they use this extremely soothing healing gel. It's beyond nourishing. And it's my favorite part of the experience! They also use some healing electrode--I'm not absolutely sure what it does, but believe me, Eden Electrolysis cares fully about your procedure DURING and AFTER.
