I had a treatment appointment with Ava Rejuvenation about two months ago. I asked for Dysport for…read moremy forehead and the area between my eyebrows. When I went to my appointment, they told me they didn't have Dysport and only had Daxxify. I ended up getting Daxxify twice and paid $500, which was almost double what I usually pay for my forehead treatment. It didn't work at all--no results. (I personally recommend not wasting your money on Daxxify.) I called them several times and asked for a refund. Eventually, they gave me another appointment for a Dysport treatment at no cost. But even after that, I still didn't get satisfying results. After all these injections and spending $500 just for my forehead, I personally do not recommend Ava Rejuvenation. I will definitely contact the Better Business Bureau about my experience. Please do your research before choosing where to go for your treatment.

They are always very accommodating to accommodate my busy schedule. The office and treatment rooms are always clean and organized . I have personally been seeing Brenda for my visits. I feel she has always been very honest with her suggestions and recommendations. The treatments are as painless as they can be . I have also recommended my family and friends to Ava and they have all had a very positive experience .

I'm a woman of size (I identify as fat) and she made it quick and easy. I want to say painless, but not going that far. I did take an 800 Motrin beforehand. I'm an Electrologist, but I still love a good wax on occasion? I highly recommend koko. I can see why she has so many excellent reviews! If you're anxious, book with her!

I've been a long time customer of EWC. I don't normally go out of the way to write a bad review but…read morethis was just a poor experience at front desk. I lived all over the bay area and southern california this past decade and loved them. Today's experience with the front desk reception is the final nail in the coffin for me to stop being a return customer. I saw there's plenty of small wax businesses with high reviews and for less than what EWC is charging. I never thought to look elsewhere because i was loyal to the brand. I didn't realize i was overpaying! first red flag was being asked if i completed my pre-wax survey and that it should be in my email in what felt like a rude tone. my waxer then came out and was ready for me and the receptionist held me from going until answering the questions - i get it that's fine but being held back from my appt has never happened to me before. my waxer was wonderful! a great experience. i don't want to minimize that the waxers are great there. afterwards the receptionist asked me to charge my card, i said the last 4 digits and normally that's not a problem and the last 2 times i was there at this location it worked fine. but for some reason, now the payment wasn't going through. we think it's the zip code and i ask is there a way i can just pay and update all that at a later time - i am so used to just being able to leave right after that i ended up being late to another appointment having to tap my phone and card several times and each time the machine stated approve but their systems said failed. i check my bank statement and there were 5 charges to my card - all the same amount. i hold up my phone to show them. this is now ~$700 in held pending transaction funds going into the weekend - its was 4pm on friday and banks close over the weekend. i honestly don't understand why i couldn't just tap a credit card like any normal transaction and be on my way - the woman at the reception really had me staying back asking me for my whole address to update instead of just letting me pay and leave! )-: ADVICE: Do not keep tapping your payment method when updating info or if they tell you the charge isn't going through, just ask to pay normally like at any other merchant as a one time charge. i really wish i advocated more when it didn't feel right to be tapping my payment so many times and seeing APPROVED across the payment machine. my appointment was at 3:30pm i was out at about 4pm on friday, may 15. there was only one receptionist at the front at the time. i didn't recognize her so maybe she was new but this experience just really tipped it all over for me. there's a lot of waxers in the area! i advise looking around before deciding on a large chain that has some customer service quality issues. EDIT: yes i have challenged the charges on my bank app already - i just don't have the time to call before lines close for the weekend and the experience over all with the higher prices made it feel like value didn't match spend.
