the interior of a coffee shop

Cool hipster coffee shop. Very nice staff. Helpful with making a selection. Asking whats in the coffee and how quickly the barista answered was pretty awesome. Knowing your product is a big plus for me. Extremely good coffee. I got a Turkish Latte: An exotic mixture of espresso, steamed milk, honey, and cardamom. As well as a a Tea called the Doctor: A steamy, stimulating elixir of lemon, ginger, & green tea. A burst of energy that will fix whatever ails you! Really cool decor, also a table made out of an old bicycle.

Baristas & customers know their drinks! I mentioned to Mike that my niece recommended the Chai Latte. Customer in front of us recommended the powder. Barista recommended the vanilla. Both were spot on! My drink was delicious. I need to return. The menu was loaded with wonderful sounding drinks. The drinks prepared and put out for pick up looked amazing. I also enjoyed visiting with my friend, Mike, by the library in the corner. The seats were super comfy as we sat and sipped for an hour.

Gorgeous weather day outside and still somehow plenty of patio seating with a mix of shade and sun. We ordered some Red Stuff and The Doctor on ice- two great drinks for an afternoon cool down. There were people inside who seemed deep in work mode, while people outside seemed a bit more relaxed for socializing. Many of the people seemed associated with the university. Parking was limited in the lot and on the street, but we still found a free spot in the lot. Tried the Turkey havarti spinach sandwich, which was a njce snack to share or a filling sandwich for one. Everything was a great experience all around- would definitely return!

This review is for their cookie only! I'm a Cookie Monster and I have to say, it was not easy finding cafes or bakeries that sell cookies in ABQ (places would either be closed or sell baked goods other than cookies). Satellite was the only place we went to all weekend with cookies ---chocolate chip cookie: with milk and white chocolate, not bad but a bit sweet for me due to the white chocolate Very interesting spacey decor inside

Satellite Coffee offers an all-star lineup of core coffee and espresso drinks as well as flavored coffee/espresso concoctions. There truly isn't anything on the menu that isn't top notch, including the freshly made baked goods. Though my wife likes exploring extensively, my go to at any Satellite location is the Dirty Chai Frio (Satellite's name for a blended coffee/espresso drink). To accompany my drink, I often also order the blondie (a hybrid brownie and s'more type baked good). Regardless of how adventuress one is, the menu (drinks and pastries) is well curated and my experience has been the baristas are well prepared to make a recommendation or translate a preference from elsewhere to give you a drink/food you'll enjoy. This Satellite has a great location across Central from the University. The spot is spacious and eclectically decorated. There are often quite a few students studying but also seats available to either study, work, or sit for a bit. The feel is very cozy/homely (in a good way). This is one of the best places to work from or study in Albuquerque.

Disclaimer: so I will start off by saying I do enjoy coffee but I like flavored drinks. I don't like black coffee so I really have no input to how "good" their plain black coffee is. Now their flavored drinks are off to a great start!! I asked the barista what his favorite iced coffee was and he suggested the Mexican Latte. It was really good, just coffee with sweet milk. It totally hit the spot on a hot afternoon. The ambiance of the cafe is very nice. It's modern but comfortable. I could see myself sitting down for a few hours and working. They have a nice patio too if you want to enjoy your beverage o If you are by the university and in need of some coffee, I highly recommend stopping in!

Nice open interior space, drink was fine. My sofa had a power outlet but can't recall if all seats did. Overall a good remote work space.

Always love supporting small, local spots that have that kind of story behind them. I tried their Aztec Latte, one of their signature drinks made with espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon. I was a little unsure at first since I'm not a big fan of cinnamon, but it ended up being super mild and creamy. We also got the Red Chili Mocha, which has espresso, milk, red chili, and chocolate. I expected more of a kick from the chili, but it was actually on the milder side as well. Since it was a little chilly in Albuquerque, we went for hot lattes, which definitely hit the spot. We split a couple of toasts too. The avocado toast came with hummus, avocado, and a drizzle of sriracha. I liked that the hummus was the base instead of just plain avocado. I think it added a nice creamy layer that worked perfectly with the sourdough and spice. The Caprese toast was classic: pesto, mozzarella, balsamic, and tomatoes. Also a solid choice. The vibe inside was really chill. People were working on laptops, chatting quietly, low music in the background. The walls had artwork from a local artist, which was a nice touch. The baristas were very friendly. Service was on point.
