Best ramen spot around! I order tonkatsu every time and am amazed by how good it tastes. Highly recommend although be mindful the service is underwhelming but easily forgotten based on how amazing the food is.
I went on my lunch break and it didn't disappoint. I hand the tonka with black garlic broth and it was delicious. Service was super fast as well. i was surprised to see that it was only 2 occupied tables at lunch time. I gave 4 stars because my pork wasn't as tender as I'm used to and the egg was too hard boiled. In willing to try it again
Sasuke ramen is a gem that I only recently discovered... I wouldn't say it's hidden, but it's in a part of town that I don't regularly visit anymore. I've been two or three times now, and each visit has been equally awesome. The good: 1. Parking is abundant. This yummy little ramen shop is in a pretty big strip mall, so finding a spot (even if we need to walk a bit) is always stress free and easy. 2. Staff has always been so kind and very efficient. We've always been greeted, seated, fed, and checked out in a timely manner and the ladies working are always so sweet. 3. I hope my five stars makes it obvious that the ramen is friggin awesome! The broth is always piping hot and the flavors of each bowl are so rich and deep; each topping fits perfectly with the overall dish and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are also very generous; I've not been able to finish an entire bowl on my own. Price point is pretty reasonable, too. 4. Although small and tucked away, the restrooms have always been very clean, which is a big plus. The "meh," but not necessarily bad: 1. I think it is written in small lettering somewhere on the menu if I remember correctly, but we've almost always been offered the spicy black garlic option for the dishes; first time around we didn't realize it was an extra charge, but that fact was not clearly communicated. 2. The options with meat offer the choice of two different types of pork, but we have never been given the option to choose when ordering. I'm sure you'd be able to speak up/ask for one of the two types without an issue, though, if you did have a preference. 3. Space within the restaurant is pretty limited, so it does get a bit crowded easily, and noise levels can be on the louder side. We have only stopped in for lunch, but the most recent visit was packed with people (no tables available at one point) and we had to speak a bit loudly to hear one another. I have been on a ramen and pho kick lately so this place seriously hits the spot for me. It is such an awesome place and the little anime character they have all over the place is super cute lol.
This was my first time trying Japanese curry ramen. It was ok. It had potatoes in it. Anything with noodles is good to me. Next time, I would probably try a different ramen. Only one waitress for a Monday evening. She was really busy but friendly and efficient.
I stopped in for a late lunch yesterday because I didn't eat lunch before I went shopping. This place is right by sprouts and I had been meaning to try it. It wasn't busy so the service was extremely fast. They have two vegan ramens to choose from. I got the vegan veggie with tofu. Not my favorite vegan veggie ramen I've had but a solid option for sure. It definitely needed a little kick from sriracha and chilli flake. It very warm and filling and the texture of the noodles was very good. I would say that uncooked/seasoned soft tofu isn't my favorite but I do enjoy the texture of soft tofu. The restaurant was extremely clean and I also like that they give you nice metal chopsticks instead of the disposable ones. I will definitely be back.
This spot is awesome! I happened to be in the area and saw the sign for Ramen, and couldn't resist. Pretty quiet, but the server was friendly and it is really clean inside. Food Came out super fast! I got the Tonkotsu Ramen with Black Garlic. Oh my word... it's amazing! I'll be back for sure!
This was a backup restaurant since our 1st choice was booked and wait was too long. Typical Ramen spot with basic flavors, No trills. I got the shoyu Ramen, it's hearty and the portions are good. Like the char siu pork they slightly fry it. They put wakame a japanese soft seaweed along with a strip of nori (crispy seaweed). I didn't prefer the wakame in the Ramen as it gave it a slightly different flavor than what I am used to, a sea/fishy hint. Wakame is best for miso imo. Gyoza was good, it's not a store bought frozen type. The inside is meaty like Chinese pork hash and some know it by. The sauce for it is also really tasty. Fried squid was not bad too. Calamari rings thats tempura battered and fried. Had a slight spice seasoning on top for a hint of a kick. Lemon and side of peppers. Very hot and crispy when it arrived. Hot a bad place but yet not also fully authentic style but still a good eating joint.
The portion size of these ramen is 5/5. I ordered the tonkatsu but to my surprise it tasted super fishy. I was hoping it would taste good but it was not great. I definitely wouldn't go back again. I was quite sad with the quality as again i ordered meat and it was super fishy.
i work nearby and placed an order to go. got notified it was ready within 4 minutes. when i got to the location my order was on a table with my name on it. i wasn't given chopsticks or a spoon with my ramen. i also ordered no mushrooms but they must have understood extra mushrooms because the bowl was filled with long dark mushroom strings. ive never been given ramen with such a dry egg:/ when i combined the broth with everything and tried the noodles i was surprised they were soooo soft and they weren't edible for me. the chicken was incredibly rubbery and just the strangest texture. i ended up drinking the broth and tossing the rest.
Ordered the Geso Karaage (fried squid tentacles) as an appetizer. The dish didn't come with ANY tentacles, only the mantle. It was good but if you're going to have it on the menu throw in a few tentacles. For my entrée I had the Tonkotsu ramen which included half of a soft-boiled egg, fungus (kikurage aka the wood ear mushroom) bamboo, green onion and nori. Choice of chashu or kakuni and choice of regular or black garlic and spiciness. I chose to have the chashu, black garlic, and medium spice. My bowl didn't have any black garlic nor any spice. The egg wasn't soft boiled as you can see in the photo I've included, and I wasn't sure if the egg was fresh or not, it looked kind of iffy. As I was eating the noodles I noticed some of them had a strange color. Not sure what that was, I've never seen noodles like that at any of the ramen restaurants I've been to. My friend ordered the curry ramen and asked for black garlic and hot level spiciness. His bowl also did not have any black garlic nor any hot spice. We were bummed out about the black garlic because we were both expecting it and really wanted to try it! I asked for a side of spicy miso because I like my Tonkotsu spicy and she brought out this strange sort of chili sauce. It was okay but not what I was hoping for. The entire time we were there the people working there were YELLING at each other in the kitchen. It was sooooo awkward! We kept questioning to each other what they were yelling and arguing about, it was so strange!! My biggest pet peeve with restaurants is when they leave out ingredients. You guys offer a choice of black garlic and the waitress told us that it was a good choice and that we would love it and we didn't get any!! Also why ask us for the spice level if you aren't going to include any spiciness!! I'm sure we were charged for the black garlic and the chili sauce they brought out. Not a fan when stuff like that happens! Not sure if I will give them a 2nd chance or not.

Super legit ramen joint! Small, but really authentic. Had the tonkotsu ramen. Broth is simmered for 15 hours. Spicy on request. My only complaint is no alcohol:-( If you want great food away from the crowd this is a great gem. read more
I recently discovered this place and am really glad to have a solid ramen place in Arvada. I was impressed with the ramen. We got a Tonkatsu and a Shoyu ramen, both traditional classics. Overall, everything was executed great. The broth on the Tonkatsu was rich and flavorful, as a true Tonkatsu should be. I usually find Shoyu broth to be quite one dimensional at other places I've tried but I was surprised that it had a deep flavors profile here. The noodles were chewy, just the way I like it. The pork slices were very tender and not dry at all. It was definitely worth my trip and considering that I live pretty close, I'll definitely be back for more. I didn't give this a 5 star because there are room for improvement. It's a small operation, seems like a family-run restaurant which is great, we need to support families. But because of that, when they are busy the service can be a bit slower. I still got my food within a very reasonable amount of time. The interior is quite small, only seats a few tables but it has a nice cozy atmosphere. read more

The gyoza is delicious and not too filling before a hearty and flavorful bowl of ramen. I've had 3 different types of their ramen (Shoyu, Tonkatsu, Curry) and I've been impressed with every one! It is totally worth getting the black garlic upgrade as well! read more

My fiancé and I ate here on Sunday because I saw it while passing by. It's 15 minutes away from where we live, so we had to try it because all of the ramen restaurants seem to be located 30+ minutes away! The photos of the fried chicken from other Yelpers looked scrumptious, and finally eating them satisfied my craving for some simple, crispy, fried chicken! They add some kind of chili flakes on them to give them a nice spice, but it's not very spicy at all. We squeezed the lemon over all of the chicken which gave it a little zest. SO GOOD! Maybe next time we will ask for the Japanese mayo like another review had suggested. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen with Chashu, and I requested it spicy with black garlic. FYI, black garlic is $1.00 more! But it was all worth it!!! The broth was flavorful and rich. I couldn't stop eating the noodles which had soaked up the broth nicely, giving them a delicious flavor, as well! I was incredibly full at the end. My fiancé had the Chicken Yakisoba which was good but a little too salty. He thought it needed a little sweetness, since Yakisoba sauce should have some sweetness. He had to drink 3 glasses of water to wash down his food, unfortunately, but he still enjoyed its flavor. They could tweak their Yakisoba sauce a bit to not be so salty! This is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. However, the saltiness of the Yakisoba will not steer us away! The service was prompt and the waitress was kind. She always filled my fiancé's water promptly when it was near empty. We will definitely be back! read more

This is a perfect example of how NOT to do ramen. Like that hot girl in school that you finally conned into the sack only to find out she just lays there like a dead rabbit. The bowls looked great but didn't have much to offer in taste, flavor or texture. Garnished with the requisite nori, pickled ginger and "fungus" as it was listed on the menu, nothing was going to save this meal from the edge of blandness. Noodles where tender but ZERO flavor or body to back it up. The broth in both bowls bordered on dirty water again with no flavor or depth, even the tonkotsu was more akin to Campbell's chicken soup than anything Asian I've had. Garlic was offered and added little help to the dismal dashi coagulating in front of me. The only saving grace of this meal was the pork belly, tender, somewhat bbq in flavor and good in size. A bowl of ramen should warm the soul as well as the belly and fill it with all the good little things we love about ramen. This was a breakup over text with pictures of your new ex and the other person smiling on a Ferris wheel on 4th of July weekend. We tried some apps only to be let down in that department as well. We asked if the app dishes were made in house or pulled from a box (which has happened more than once before) and we were offered one of the nastiest glares since my mom saw my first tattoo. 10/10 would recommend Sasuke Ramen! My sister and I went there yesterday spontaneously after shopping at Sprouts and were very pleasantly surprised. I've been to a few Ramen places around Colorado and I would say for the price, this is deff the best. Compared to other ramen places that charge typically between $16-22 with bowls that are the same in size, for $12, this was a STEAL. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen with kakuni (spicy and garlic added) while my sister got the Curry Ramen with chatsu (spicy and garlic added). Both our ramens had depths of flavor and a well portioned amount of meat, vegetables, and noodles. For an appetizer we got the fried chicken. The fried chicken was light and crispy served with lemon wedges. Officially becoming regulars here! (: read more

Wish I could do a 3.5!!! I was doing some grocery shopping at Sprouts last week and this place caught my eye. The fam bam and I love ramen and have been wanting to try it ever since we noticed it. Came in tonight and things were pretty poppin'! Nice to see a new business filled with people. We were greeted immediately and also sat right away. Decor is super simple yet really nice. Menu is simple -- a handful of rice dishes, ramen, some apps, soft drinks, boba, yet no beer or wine. Bummer!!! That might change but who knows. Our daughter wanted noodles so I went with a tonkatsu ramen and the wifee got a miso ramen. Before that, we ordered the JFC as an app. JFC came out fairly quick and it was a decent portion for the price. It was accompanied with a wedge of lemon on a bed of shredded cabbage and no....dipping sauce? I thought that was strange. Our daughter started tearing into the JFC but I wanted sauce. Flagged down a server and asked about a dipping sauce. He seemed confused. He asked and eventually brought out some Japanese mayo. I mixed that with some chili garlic sauce and there was sauce! Ramen came out shortly. Tasted both broths and....mmmmm...not too shabby BUT for $12, it was skimpy and definitely lacking. My wife felt the same way. Because I split some of my bowl with my almost three year old, I didn't leave on a full stomach. Definitely would love to give this joint another try, just not sure when. Hopefully next time there will be beer/wine and less skimpy bowls. Again, wish I could do a 3.5 but I can't! read more

We ordered to go ramen and it was amazing! I had the Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic medium. It was pretty spicy so just a heads up on that. But the broth was amazing as well as the pork belly and noodles. Would definitely order again. Also their green tea boba was incredible and I'd recommend the goyoza! read more

This place looks so unassuming from the outside. Nestled in a Sprouts strip mall, but the food is anything but unassuming. Edamame and gyoza all pretty much tastes the same no matter where you go so that was good. The entrees are where this place shines. The ramen was so fragrant from the black garlic and the taste was explosive. That was definitely some of the best ramen I've ever had. The Yaki soba had the perfect amount of flavor. I wish they had this place back home. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town! read more

I had the Miso Ramen without pork. The soup was delicious, especially with the spicy black garlic addition. The amount of soup is perfect to hit the spot when you're super hungry. I've also had the beef yakisoba, and that dish is also amazing! I highly recommend this place, the food won't disappoint. read more

I would've never suspected that this place would have been any good given the location and it's shopping center exterior, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The interior was very modern and clean. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because the waitress was rude when I asked for a recommendation between the curry ramen and the oyakodon rice plate. She insisted that all the menu items are good and kept reinstating that one has rice and one has noodles without answering my question of which one was better in her opinion. I settled on the oyakodon and seaweed salad with no help from her, and thankfully it was amazing. Definitely recommend giving it a try, just don't expect amazing service. read more

Are the gluten free noodles the clear rice noodles like Pho or are they gluten free ramen noodles (chewy and delicious like ramen, not pho)? And is the broth also gluten free? Do they use the same broth to cook the GF as they do the regular?
