This restaurant is located in a Denver neighborhood known as HiLo. From the outside, one wouldn't imagine a restaurant like this in an upscale area. However, when you enter through the front door and walk in, you get the sense that not only does this restaurant belonghere, you soon will be treated and understand what taiwanese-style hot hots are, and it is truly delicious! We started with orders of popcorn chicken and chicken wings. Both items are a must try appetizers. As I popped a couple of popcorn chicken in my mouth, even without the accommodating sauce, the tastebuds in my mouth were partners dancing and jumping for joy. The sauce used to marinade and cooked in the chicken wing was so good! No side sauce necessary, but it was an added bonus to the dish. My main entrée was the seafood lobster hot soup, and boy, it was flavorful, tasty, and totally delicious! So many items in this soup including shrimp, octopus, clams, mussels, and a lot of different vegetables, but my favorite was the taro. These taro slices went very well with the soup. If you happen to be in the area, go and check out this restaurant. Because of the many soup options, don't be shy to ask for recommendations from the staff. They are very helpful and will assist you and your hunger needs.
I'm sorry- as a Tawiwanese/Chinese American- this establishment is not it. Not my cup of tea at all. It doesn't capture the delicious flavor of how hot pot should be. I could barely stomach my hot pot and I got the most common and how can you mess up the easiest flavor- beef broth. I felt bad for recommending different broth flavors to my friends- they did not. I was truly disappointed. Coloradians need to come down to Houston and Dallas TX for decent East Asian food. Just like people say you can't find good Mexican food in Colorado, also I am finding out don't expect good Chinese or Taiwanese food in Colorado either. Overpriced and gross I just cannot.
Came for a friends bday party and was impressed by the service- even with such a large group! My husband and I finally mastered "not ordering too much" by sharing a single hot pot, and a side of fried rice. Don't sleep on the fried rice- it is AMAZING!
Wonderful find! Came here on a Friday around 1:30PM. The place was a hit empty so we were quickly seated. The place was very cleaned and decorated so nicely. The server was so friendly and service was perfectly paced! We were greeted with a cup of green tea. Our appetizers came out first. We got steamed dumplings, eggrolls, and tempura shrimp - everything was delightful! I didn't get pictures of everything because I just started eating. We then received our hot pot and ramen - the broth was amazing! Honestly, I didn't even read the ingredients, but I can tell you everything was wonderful. This place was definitely a hit for me and I do plan to come back. Thank you for the amazing service and food! Edit: forgot to mention the place was clean and cute inside!
If there is a Tasty Pot in the city I am visiting, I will be there. This Tasty Pot was particularly nicer than the other locations I've been to with the decor and the service was fantastic. The food was fresh and quick and everything I could have asked for when you're cold and hungry. They don't have the typical soybean paste out for you to use the sauce but if you ask they will bring some to you!
Found another great hot pot restaurant to add to our favorites list in Colorado! First time here and we loved it. My favorite was the Thai Curry hot pot, the flour was amazing and loved with how much vegetables and protein it came with! I did taste the curry, hot pot, which was good with a hint of spice to it. We enjoyed some chicken wing appetizers and everyone had Boba drinks. Customer service is good. Definitely worth the drive from Colorado. Looking forward to coming back, see you in July!
It's been a few years since I last visited the tasty pot location in Aurora but I'm glad I finally visited the Denver location. They have items on the menu that are not available in the Aurora location such as the sizzling noodle plate and one of the Asian flavored wings. If you're at the Denver location, definitely order wings and popcorn chicken as an appetizer. They're pretty crunchy and flavorful. I also recommend trying their chili oil and sesame soy on the table as dipping sauces. It's quite delicious and pairs well with the majority of the food we had. It was so good, I had to get some for my leftovers. Tasty Pot serves pretty generous portions. My bf ordered the hotpot (I think it was the lamb option) and I got the sizzling noodles plate. I would get the hot pot option next time. The sizzling plate was good but it definitely dried up as the meal went on. I didn't eat fast enough and my egg became scrambled. The soup for the hot pot was very tasty and flavorful. Service is friendly. There are plenty of tables. Can't wait to come back,
Overall got the Taiwanese cravings satisfied, but quite mid. The food was basic in quality but felt overwhelmingly random with all the ingredients boiled in. I've been to tasty pot in cali and Philly, and this place in Denver was not as good. Serve Service was fast and friendly! Not too loud on a Friday night.
The atmosphere is very well kept and clean. You'll be welcomed from the amazing smell and taste of the dishes. I had sizzling beef which was made to perfection. The service was quick and friendly.
I stopped by Tasty Pot on a Friday for lunch. It was my first time visiting and it did not disappoint! The space is beautiful and clean. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious! I ordered the kimchi dumpling hot pot soup. It comes with napa cabbage, pork slices, kimchi, dumpling, rice cake, mini sausage, shrimp, enoki mushroom, kamaboko, tempura, clam, Fuzhou fish ball, soft tofu, fried tofu skin, zucchini, imitation crab meat, egg, scallion. You also get your choice of rice or noodles to complement your soup. They have a variety of spice levels ranging from none to flaming spicy. I chose the mild spice level. The broth was flavorful with a good kick. I would probably lean into the spice more next time and get spicier, but erred on the side of caution on my first visit. You also get a complimentary house tea included with lunch 11am-3pm. The tea was sweet and served cold with plenty of ice in a stainless steel cup. Great experience and great food! I would highly recommend!
Tried Tasty Pot and really enjoyed it overall. I ordered both a skillet and a Taiwanese hot pot, and everything came out flavorful with a generous portion size. The popcorn chicken was especially good, and the green tea mango drink was delicious and super refreshing. One small note: the beef skillet could've used a veggie or two, since it was mainly just rice and beef. Service was friendly and attentive, and overall it felt like a good value. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
This is as such an amazing surprise! We were looking for a place for lunch, and we were hungry!! It is so cute inside. The server was so friendly and helpful. We were served complimentary ice cold tea when we sat down. The menu is full of fantastic items we had such a hard time deciding but our server was very helpful with the decision. The edamame was good. I had the seafood lobster hot soup with extra Vermicelli. It comes out boiling hot on a cute stand with an open flame. I added the vermicelli to the pot to cool in the boiling broth before turning off the flame. The soup came with giant pieces of lobster, fish. Octopus, and calamari. It was well work it! I had some really good sake during our meal as well. My partner had the surfing lobster ramen. He was extremely impressed with the flavor. If I lived close I would visit here all the time. The portions are also large so you'll be able to take home leftovers!!!
Came here for a few drinks and although this was a one man show taking orders, serving and bartending however things came out quite fast knowing that. All in all their drinks were okay. They did look like they had good food however I was unable to try any of that. But overall it was a good experience with a homey atmosphere vibe. I would definitely comeback to try their food options.

Good food, atrocious service. I came here on a Wednesday night around 7:00, there were empty tables but we were told it would be a 20/25 minute wait. The staff then went on to ignore us. When we finally got seated 30 minutes later - it was an act of god to get ANY service. When we ordered our food, we also ordered some sake . 30 minutes after we ordered our food we still had not received any sake - when we finally flagged down a server they said it would be coming momentarily. 10 minutes later it came. Our food took 30 minutes to come out and getting anyone to give us napkins or refill our drinks was an act of god. This place is severely understaffed. I ordered the lamb hot pot which was very good and had a generous portion of lamb and other delicious goodies. Come for the food, but expect it to take at least 1-2 hours. read more

Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling like I may have gotten food poisoning. I'm not sure if I simply had a bad batch or if the quality and freshness of the ingredients were the issue, but it was disappointing. The soups initially seemed promising and really enticing, but once they arrived at the table, I found myself questioning the ingredients and what I was actually eating. On a positive note, the service was kind and efficient, and the restaurant had a great ambience inside. I really wanted to enjoy the experience, but the food quality ultimately overshadowed the positives. read more

If there is a Tasty Pot in the city I am visiting, I will be there. This Tasty Pot was particularly nicer than the other locations I've been to with the decor and the service was fantastic. Ordered the #3 lunch hot pot, kimchi pork belly fried rice & the spicy dumplings. My daughter thought the hot pot was fine but better can be had most places. Kimchi fried rice had no flavor and don't even bother with the dumplings. There was one server who was running all over. Poor guy. read more
The decor is fun, modern, clean. The servers are friendly and helpful but slightly confused. Every time we had a question they had to go find out. We did not like neither appetizer. We got the Sweet Glaze Wings, which were okay, and the Broccoli with Garlic, which was extremely disappointing, so mushy and too salty. The 2 Hotpots we got were amazing though. The Beef Hot Soup Hotpot had such tasty ingredients. We also ordered the Taiwanese Hotpot, which on the menu is "Supreme Spicy Hot". But we requested for it to be mild and they were able to accommodate, probably just added additional broth to make it less spicy. The flavors were all there, the sour mustard made me think of Taiwan. Come for the hotpots, skip the appetizers. read more

Very cute spot to try something new! Came here for a birthday celebration. Food was very good and service was fast. The portions are quite large. You could split it if youre not starving. Absolutely one of the best Asian cuisine spots in Denver! The food is excellent! Service is amazing, attentive, and spot-on. Cozy modern vibe makes it perfect for any occasion. Perfect spot for a cozy fall day! My husband and I were craving hotpot, and this place definitely hit the spot. The portions are huge, so we shared one. We got the Thai flavor hotpot with medium spice, which was flavorful and comforting. The soup dumplings and green beans were also delicious. The staff were very friendly, and the vibe is super casual. Definitely a great place to warm up and enjoy a good meal! read more

We had a great meal at Tasty Pot. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and my partner had the Spicy Miso Ramen--both were great with the perfect level of spice. Portions are very generous; we easily could have shared one ramen with an appetizer. The cheese wontons were excellent and stood out the most. Can't rave about this place enough! For hot pot you can choose which broth and then which type of noodle you want. The curry hot pot was delicious - the bowl is so much deeper than it looks! There's also free broth refills if you can even get to that point haha The Hong Kong sizzling plate was delicious as well with the pork belly and Chinese sausage. It comes out sizzling on a cast iron plate which is mixed tableside. During lunch you get house made tea included and the sweetened jasmine tea was such a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Our toddler loved the fried chicken with five spice :) The vibes are chill and the service is top notch. If we lived here we'd be frequent customers for sure! read more

I usually dine in but it was cold today and I wanted to changed things up! The Vietnamese pork chop rice plate is a must! So tender juicy and good! The staff is always great! And the place is always kept clean! This was delicious to go! read more

Had a great time dining here. The service was exceptional and we got the free, iced green tea because it was lunch, which was pretty yummy. I ordered the popcorn chicken taiwanese hot pot and thought the presentation itself was great. The flavors were also great and on top of the noodles they gave me the order also included another portion of noodles on the side. Would definitely go back! read more

The staff here are really friendly and make you feel like an old friend. They have a large selection of hotpot bowls so everyone in your group can order exactly what they like! The Szechuan Spicy had good flavor but could have been spicier! Really good vibe when in the mood for some Hotpot! read more
