The cleaning up of the nail beds and cuticles and the massage were incredibly thorough. So when I needed to have dip powder taken off, I trusted this salon to do it properly. They did not. Despite me asking for my nails to be soaked (because sometimes the drill is a little overzealous) and the technician agreeing to do that, instead she used the drill file. At first I thought she was just roughing up the top layer before doing the soaking, but she kept going and pretty much tore up my finger nails, which are now split and peeling and will have to grow out. That's on me as I should have stopped her. But I trusted her to know what she was doing given my past experience. I will not be returning.

The shop has a very clean vibe, lots of plants and greenery, which I love and there are creative art tiles on the ceiling for you to gaze up at while you get your services. All these unique touches make for a really comfortable space. The two nail techs that I use are Jenni and Kimberly. Both Jenni and Kimberly are excellent technicians who always provide a comfortable and caring environment while they provide their dip powder, services and pedicure services for me. Kimberly is very attentive in knowing what you need for your pedicure and is always checking in to make sure you are comfortable. Jenni's technique with the dip powder is stellar and you can get creative with what you would like to do. Services do not take a long time, but are always up to par for what you pay for. With dip powder, gel polish, for nail designs, almond shaped, and gel pedicure. My total came up to $120 which is pretty great for awesome service and prices these days. It's hard to find techs that can be consistent with services. I'm blessed to have found 3! I appreciate Christine for accommodating me today! I initially went to this nail salon because it is soooo close to my house. My first time, I arrived…read moreapproximately 30 minutes before closing and I was pleased to be happy seated in a chair. My pedicure was not rushed(slow-er pedicures are ok with me), she was extremely friendly and I decided I'd go back a second time. My 2nd visit I arrived around 5:15... I was expecting to be done by 6:15 at the latest. All I was getting was a fill. I didn't leave until 6:45!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh I was extremely frustrated... she was soooooooo ssssssslllllllooooooowwwwwww. BUT my nails looked great... I honestly could have went another week before getting another fill(making it 3 weeks), but decided not to. So.. despite her being slow, my nails looked great and they lasted- for that, you get 4 stars... now get me out in 45 mins or less and this could be a 5. The paraffin was a treat for me, and it was included in the price. I was less than 2 weeks out from a "natural nail experience" I received in Denver, which left my cuticles dry and ragged. I'm three days out from this experience and my nails and hands feel like I just left the salon! I'm new to the Annapolis area, looking for a salon to frequent, and I think I've found it!
