So I would of given this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the wait time, the price, and the portion. It took over 30 minutes to get a simple poke bowl and it wasn't even busy. The food is delicious and fresh I really enjoyed my dish but it was pretty small. Skip the French macaron ice cream it was super hard could barely eat it and it super small for $4. I paid $22 for the bowl and ice cream and honestly i was hungry an hour later. But the poke bowl was delicious ahi tuna was fresh and the shrimp was really good too. Love the food there. The food and chefs are high quality. It's medium food so you order at counter then pick it up when it's done. Prices are high (comparable with sit down restaurants) but the food is comparable so it's a push. By far my first choice for lunch. And they have sake! read more

we got in at 7:43 pm, which is 13 minutes after their dine in cut off. because the owner noticed we are new incoming customers, he made the exception and okayed us dining in. since they had people who ordered last minute, they expedited their to-go orders first whilst our miso soup was being made. my husband and I ordered the bento box. he ordered the salmon teriyaki with nigiri and I ordered the chicken teriyaki with inari. we also got the rainbow roll. all was served in disposable plates and containers. the food was reminiscent of my childhood. it was delicious!! presentation was clean! the owner even said that they are getting their liquor license. which would mean sometime in the near future, they will be opening up even later!! Good for a quick sushi fix! I customize the "spicy bowl" and it turns out pretty good. I caught them about to mess it up the other day and I'm so glad I did. Not just because they would have gotten it wrong and I didn't want them to waste it, BUT he was about to toss the sushi in the original sauce using a dirty bowl!! It's like he reused a bowl from previous orders... I was so thankful I asked for it to be tossed in another sauce because I saw them have to use a different bowl. I'm not sure what I expected from delivery Sushi. However, we were highly disappointed. Do not try and customize delivery because none of my requests were granted. The rolls are very skimpy... so, order way more than what you think you will want! I'm sad this didn't work out. We eat here often and all of the family members have their favorites on the menu. Bento boxes are the best value, miso is authentic, fantasy roll is amazing and the sashimi is well done. I personally have been a customer since they opened before they even had a dining room. My family have become friendly with the owners and appreciate their hard work and commitment to our community. The employees even remember our names. We love supporting our locally owned businesses. That said I am not one to pull punches with my restaurant reviews and be a bit critical. But in all my years of patronage I have never experienced anything close to what is written in these critical reviews. I have eaten a lot of sushi over the years and tried just about every sushi place in the area. I find the prices to be competitive. If you are finding sushi cheaper at other restaurants then chances are you should be concerned for your health. All food is going up in price and seafood is especially affected. Think about it people! They pay more you pay more. Sheesh. Also if you get mediocre beef at a sushi place that's on you. That's like ordering fish at Denny's and complaining it wasn't great.
