I ordered their "Thai Wings" and Beef Drunken Noodle. I'll start with the Drunken Noodles. This was very good. Saucy, chewy, good bits of tender beef and vegetable mixed in. Can't complain about that. I can complain a little bit about their "Thai Wings". Per their menu these are "marinated in our thai chili spices". Look, I love fried chicken but I was not really buying into their description of them while eating them. I'm quite unsure if they're even made in house? They taste very similar to bodega hot food wings. These weren't exactly cheap either and there weren't many included. The house sauce is also just sweet thai chili sauce so yeah these were a total bummer. I'm sure their other offerings are great and I do recommend their drunken noodles, heavy pass on the wings though.

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my recent experience ordering takeout from this…read morerestaurant through Uber Eats. I ordered Pad See Ew, which arrived in a sealed Staples shopping bag and was packaged in a standard black plastic takeout container with a clear lid. Everything seemed normal until I was about 95% finished with my meal. Out of nowhere, I bit down on something sharp. When I spit it out, I was shocked to discover that it was a piece of glass. As a result, my mouth was bleeding in two different places. Finding a chicken bone or a piece of cartilage in a meal is one thing, but finding GLASS is completely unacceptable and presents a serious safety hazard. What was almost as upsetting as the glass itself was the restaurant's response. I immediately called and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining what had happened, the reaction was surprisingly indifferent. I received little more than a casual "Sorry to hear that" and an offer of a refund. There was no apparent concern for my well-being, no effort to investigate how glass ended up in the food, and no sense of urgency regarding the seriousness of the situation. A refund does not erase the fact that I was injured while eating food prepared by this restaurant. Customer safety should be a top priority, and the lack of concern shown after such a dangerous incident was mind-blowing. I cannot recommend a restaurant that serves food containing glass and then responds with such a lack of concern when a customer is injured. Proceed with caution.

The front fascade just wasn't attractive to me and I wondered what the food would be like. Then my wife, who visited it several times before, said I would like it. Today, I got curious and dropped in for lunch with her, and well I liked it! Parking is metered but with plenty of alternatives along the way. We started with fried calamari and papaya salad, which were prepared medium spicy and were quite good. Next came Tom yum soup with shrimp and also with chicken. The wonderful flavors, especially the coconut milk, made this especially satisfying. This soup is a winner and I'll be back for more! It's that good. Entrees followed, chicken pad Thai and crispy pork with basil. Both were delicious also. We asked for our usual sticky rice with mango, but alas, it wasn't available. Instead the nice waitress recommended coconut pudding, and it was awesome. The ambiance of the room was nice with pleasant music and spacious seating. Service was very good with helpful and pleasant attentive staff. This jewel of a place will be at the top of my list from now on. And I love frequenting the smaller local neighborhood restaurants to boot. All is good in Bayside Queens!

I came here by myself for lunch today and unfortunately left disappointed. The experience reminded…read moreme why we haven't been back since our last visit for dinner several years ago. I ordered the tofu Pad Thai lunch special and chose the vegetable egg rolls as my appetizer. The egg rolls were good, but unfortunately, the tofu in my Pad Thai did not taste fresh. After taking a few bites of the first piece, I noticed a strange, unpleasant taste. I tried a second piece just to make sure, but it tasted the same, and I simply couldn't eat it. I placed the pieces of tofu I couldn't eat in a small dish. I called the waitress over, explained the issue, and asked if I could please have some vegetables on the side instead of the tofu. She didn't say anything but took away the dish with the tofu. About five minutes later, she returned with a plate of vegetable Pad Thai and explained that the kitchen had remade the dish without the tofu, which was perfectly fine with me. What bothered me, however, was that she subsequently came by and told me that, according to the kitchen staff, the tofu I had sent back was "fine." I found that response dismissive and unnecessary. Whether the kitchen thought the tofu was fine or not, it clearly tasted off to me. I had even tried a second piece before saying anything because I wanted to make sure. I pride myself on not being a fussy diner, and I almost never send food back unless I genuinely find something inedible, which is very rare. Unfortunately, the service throughout lunch was disappointing as well. No one checked on me after my food was served, I had to ask for my water to be refilled, and eventually I had to flag someone down just to get the bill. To her credit, my waitress did apologize when she brought the check. However, I then had to wave down another waitress so I could actually pay it. I had originally planned to order some additional food to take home for dinner, but after this experience, I decided against it. Needless to say, I won't be back.

It tasted good but when I order this it's because I want a huge amount of holy basil and there were like 5 leaves total in the dish. Aside from this, it did taste good and was a good value coming with the salad to start and being a decent sized plate. I was just disappointed about the basil honestly.

In addition to a sliced up piece of chicken katsu, the box came with miso soup, a salad with ginger dressing, 4 shumai, a classic roll of your choice (I went for yellowtail avocado), and white rice. The shumai was also tasty, and the yellowtail avocado roll was fresh. For under $20, I thought it was a more than good amount of food. For our mains, we ordered the drunken noodles and the red chicken curry. The curry was absolutely delicious and packed with chicken, veggies, and a flavorful broth. However, the drunken noodles felt a little small in terms of portion size. We wrapped up the night with two desserts: the mango sticky rice and the fried ice cream. It was honestly the biggest fried ice cream I've ever seen, served with vanilla ice cream, berry sauce, and whipped cream on the side. Both desserts were incredibly tasty! The space itself is clean and cozy. The service was perfectly fine, though they did get quite slammed with delivery orders while we were there.
