After a minor communication issue yesterday, Dr. Hakopian remedied the situation and saw me today on her day off. Now I know why she has 5 stars. Dr. Hakopian and her receptionist were both very nice. She made me feel very comfortable and I was at total ease during the exam. I had one of the best exams I've ever had. She explained everything and answered all my questions. The exam was quick, yet thorough. When it came time to choose a new frame, I was quite pleased to see a wide variety of frames that I liked. It was hard to just pick one! Overall, I was quite happy with my visit. I went ahead and made appointments for my kids, knowing they will be receiving a top notch experience. read more

Dr. Hakopian is great. I came to her because I felt that my prescription/acuity just wasn't right, and my previous optometrist wasn't as thorough as I'd hoped. Dr Hakopian was very kind and helpful. She answered a lot of my questions and has helped to make sure my glasses are correct, as I was struggling to adapt to prism. She tried a bunch of things to make sure i am seeing as best I can. Will definitely keep going here. read more

My first appointment with Dr. Hakopian was wonderful! She was thorough when determining my prescription, and answered all of my silly questions. She was patient as I tried on almost every frame in her cabinet (there were a lot of very appealing choices) The office staff was friendly and welcoming and helpful. This was by far the best optometrist appointment I've ever experienced! I found Dr. Hakopian on Yelp, and couldn't be happier with my choice. read more

Dr. Hakopian is the BEST doctor I've ever had. She is very knowledgeable in her line of work and is so nice. Dr. Hakopian, if you are reading this, I want you to know that I see life SO differently and you've changed my life. Thank you for everything that you've done for me. Would recommend to all my family and friends. read more

Best in town! Sara is sweet, patient to answer any and all your questions and extremely knowledgeable. When it comes to your eyes, it's not just about correcting the vision but also aesthetically how you will look. Sara took the time to go over different style frames with me, and went over the option of contacts that I considered. In addition, my 11yr old had prescription glasses he recently got from another place. He kept complaining that he still can't see well and had headaches. I took him to see Sara, based on her exam, we got a new pair of glasses with the corrected prescription and my son could not be happier. In any business, when you find someone who is passionate, caring and loves what they do, you are at ease feeling that you have a trusted source to recommend. For me, Sara and her team are highly recommended. read more

Would not recommend this doctor. I was looking for an optometrist closer to my new home in Burbank, and found Dr. Hakopian on Yelp. I went for a visit and was given a prescription that was, turns out, not only .50 stronger than what I needed, but also incomplete. The doctor never even took the time to check my Cyl and Axis values. I ended up ordering glasses based on this doctor's prescription and I couldn't see well, so I decided to get a second opinion. Went to another optometrist instead who was patient enough to give me a full consultation and a correct prescription, which matches the ones I've had for the past 10 years. I would never return to Dr. Hakopian, nor would I recommend her to anyone. She's clearly not interested in her patients, rushes through a 10 min consultation and in the end even charges $10 extra for the sample contacts. Every optometrist I've ever seen gives a try out sample for free, but not here! Oh, and did I mention that you won't receive your prescription after the visit, even though the law requires it? That's right. You have to call them repeatedly and beg them for it. Stay away read more

Dr. Hakopian is just awesome. She is very sweet, caring, and takes good care of you herself the whole way through. When it came to shopping for glasses, I really liked how she didn't try to push the more expensive frames on me as I've experienced in the past with others. Trying on one pair of glasses after another gets tiring after a while, but with her it was almost like shopping with a girlfriend. She'd take a look, tell me what she liked or didn't think suited me. You just see the pure honesty in her! read more
