It's happened before so the doctor looked at it and saw an eyelash and pulled it out no problem. I called since I'm having a similar issue. Now they refuse to help me. Pushed me off on some other doctor and ophthalmologist. I asked if they can just take a look and without being able to give me a reason why, they've decided it will be out of pocket. Completely unhelpful. Looks like I'll be finding a new doctor who wants to help patients, not just push them off on someone else or dismiss them without a consult first.

I decided to try Dr. Hakopian and I was so pleased with my overall experience. She was very thorough and spent about 45 minutes with me. She carefully and patiently did an eye exam for me after I expressed I have sensitive eyes and explained every process step by step and went over the results, unlike other doctors I've been to who don't even go over your results with you. She went over my original prescription given by my previous doctor & compared it to the new prescription she was going to give me. She actually showed me on the machine the difference between my old & new prescription & how differently I was seeing between both lenses. She made recommendations to the new lenses she was going to give me & explained why she's going to prescribe those specific numbers & how that would be most beneficial for me. It's been almost 3 months since I've been using these new glasses & they are perfect! Such a major difference from the previous one to this one. No headaches, no blurriness. She doesn't take my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket, but I took a chance anyway and it was worth it!!! Very happy with my first visit with Dr. Hakopian. Her staff is also welcoming & helpful and their office is clean & organized. Highly recommend

All throughout my exam he was NASTY RUDE. I'm a disabled vet (100%) and two different doctors at the VA told me that I had a tear in my retina When I asked him about the tear he got very rude and informed me that he saw no tear and kept reminding me that he was a doctor and that he saw no tear so that I shouldn't be questioning him.I was merely asking a question but he choose to be RUDE when he answered me.Every questio I adked was met by a condescending ,rude, and Nasty answer.Uncalled for.I was told twice by VA doctors I needed eye surgery to repair a tien retina.I was told in 2024 by a female doctor and once again this past August of 2025 by a male doctor. My toddler daughter needed glasses and we already had a prescription from her pediatric Ophthalmologist. I was searching for a place closer to home that carried toddler frames, because the recommendations from her pediatric Ophthalmologist at the Dohney eye institute in Pasadena were all in SGV. I called New Vision specifically asking about frames for my 20-month old and after being satisfied with their answers, made an appointment. However, their selection was disappointing and they didn't have the strap-on toddler frames, as I was told on the phone. I went with the only viable option reluctantly because I wanted to get the glasses and didn't want to waste more time. I gave them the prescription (in paper form) and they had trouble with their scanner so told me they'd give it back to me when we picked up the glasses. I asked if my daughter needed to be present, and they said yes. When glasses were ready, they texted me at 3:48 Friday asking me to make an appointment, and said they were closing at 4:15 and reopened on Monday. Had I been notified even a couple hours earlier, I could have rearranged my schedule instead of waiting until Monday. So that was disappointing. Finally when picking them up, my daughter tried them on but they didn't really do anything else so not sure why my daughter needed to be present or why I needed to make an appointment. And they also didn't have the paper prescription that I had been promised. The person giving me the glasses made zero effort and just told me how easy it is to request it again from the ophthalmologist office. I obviously know this. This just underscored to me that things aren't communicated properly about patient requests.

Dr. Hirji is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. What stood out most to me was how well she listened. I had been dealing with symptoms for a long time and she took the time to really hear my concerns and explain what was happening with my eyes. She also set very clear and realistic expectations about the procedure and the recovery, which I appreciated. The procedure itself went very smoothly, and I felt very comfortable in her care. Her staff and office were also very well organized. They were upfront about the length of appointments and scheduling so there were no surprises, which made the whole process much easier. If her office were closer to my home (it's a 24-mile drive and roughly an hour each way for me, longer if traffic is backed up), I would absolutely continue seeing her long term. I would highly recommend Dr. Hirji to anyone needing a glaucoma specialist.

My initial referral appointment took place in March 2026. I then returned twice in April 2026 for additional diagnostic testing and to complete required consent forms. Despite complying with all requested appointments and documentation, I was informed on May 6, 2026, by Alicia that there is currently no available building or facility to complete the cataract removal procedure and that approval has not yet been obtained through my insurance. This ongoing delay has become detrimental to my overall quality of life. My vision impairment continues to affect my daily functioning, independence, safety, and emotional well-being. I am deeply concerned that this matter reflects a lack of urgency, empathy, and proper coordination of care. The prolonged postponement of medically necessary treatment feels neglectful and has caused unnecessary stress and suffering. I respectfully request immediate clarification regarding:* The current status of insurance authorization* The expected timeline for surgery approval and scheduling* What actions are being taken to prevent further delays in care I also request that this grievance be formally documented and reviewed by management, patient relations, and any appropriate oversight department. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious matter. I look forward to a timely resolution and appropriate follow-up. Sincerely, Bobby Strong

My friend had SMILE done by Dr. Lee about 9 months before I began diving seriously into the procedures. I met with 2 other clinics, but ultimately chose CCRS because of the fact that my fiance and I met with Dr. Lee during the consultation itself. He stayed with us for almost an hour to walk me through my options and his recommendations. He appeared to be intelligent, empathic, humorous, and above all, he was straight with me. Other clinics with a dedicated marketing operations team are a lot more sales-y, so I felt more comfortable with Dr. Lee, and all my appointments have been so streamlined and efficient. I was a good candidate for either SMILE or LASIK, but based on my preferences for longevity, I went with LASIK. Paperwork and pre-procedure instructions were sent to me in advance, and overall I think it went smoothly! I wasn't bothered at all by the lasers as I knew what to expect. I'm currently on days 5-6 of recovery and will be seeing Dr. Lee in another follow-up appointment next week. My vision continues to fluctuate a bit but that's a normal part of healing. My fiance is also interested in getting his refractive surgery done by Dr. Lee, and I recommended a family friend to him recently too. CCRS has free parking onsite, located nearby excellent Korean food, and facilities are super clean. Staff are friendly and highly efficient. So far, I'm happy with my results, which I hope will continue to improve.
